I thought that the factory tour was more complex and that the actual factory was bigger. Anyhow the best ice cream in the world!

I'm a truck driver, I deliver the ingredients to make the icecream, which I'm also a fan of.
Great place to visit to hear about how B&J began and how they make the ice cream. Tour is well worth it at only $4 with a free sample of ice cream. You can also buy ice cream and taste a variety of flavours.
Friendly, engaging and entertaining tour guide! Super tasty ice cream sample at the end!
Fun place to visit.well worth addmition price would recommend to anyone
Was a little let down by this place, wanted a ice cream Disney land and it wasn t even close
My kids had a fantastic time. The price is reasonable too! For the four of us, three adults and one child, it was 12 dollars. My kids seemed engaged and it was nice to get ice cream at the end.
Nice tour. Friendly team. Handicap accessible. Great tasting ice cream.
Fun for kids and adults. Sample was at least 1/2 cup at end of tour. Should have better cow plush toys in shop that at least say Ben and Jerry's on it. Has a play ground for kids too.
Fun tour, great tour guide, and easy parking. Just a good time.
The tour is interesting and you get a free sample. We stop here every team we are in the area for fall foliage or skiing. Great view from patio. Line for ice cream shop is long.
Boycotting because they use a portion of the money I spend on their product to further their agenda.
Tourist trap for New Englanders. Better ice cream otherwise is found elsewhere in the state.
tour is about 15 min long
kids 12 and under are free
adults $4
It is too crowded and it doesn't worth it. It's more for kids.
A visit to Ben & Jerry's factory is a must if you are an ice cream lover, and who isnt? Right??
Lines can be long but the reward at the end is worth it
Gotta have some coffee, coffee, buzz
Buzz!!!
Minimum parking. Rest area 4 miles away. Four loading docks. Discount for trucker at gift shop 9 o'clock. Receiving Door is hidden by Construction. sat here for an hour and they were inside.
Looooong line for ice cream but it was worth it - best ice cream ever! The Tonight Dough
Awesome tour of the factory! There's lots to see and free ice cream sample at the end of the tour. $4.00 per person and a gift shop. There's also a playground for kids and the flavor cemetery to visit. We also came across a truck full of Goldens! Local breeder that drives his dogs around to socialize.
Tour was short and sweet. Long lines due to Labor day holiday weekend. Overall we enjoyed the visit.
Very fun experience, tour was interesting, ice cream was delicious.
A basic tour but very informative, staff are nice and got a small sample of fresh ice cream at the end. Admission is cheap, worth a visit.
Amazing experience. Factory tour well worth it. Sample at the end of the tour. New flavors to try out. Kids loved it !
They do not show how Ice cream is actually made. They just give you a theory lesson
This is a great experience if you want to know more about the ice cream brand. The factory has a shop and ice cream store attached and a lot of decorations detailing the history and mission of the brand. A must if you're in the area.
They want truckers to move their ice cream almost for free knowing how expensive are the tolls in the east coast they don t want to pay. Unilever owns this place this is a multi billion company that has been buying a lot of companies throughout the years making an empire under the name of unilever. They don t even give an ice cream sample to the ones that keep this place running. The 2 stars are for the shipping employees they were very nice.
Did the tour a while back and it was fun. Can t complain about anything really, ice cream wa good. I wouldn t drive 2 hours just to come here but if your doing a Vermont Route 100 drive south of Stowe, why not pop in?
The tour isn't expensive nor is it expansive. The guides are well-rehearsed and the travel through the short factory is accessible for everyone. It's a cool stop for ice cream enthusiasts and definitely a great place to enjoy their factory-exclusive flavor.
One excellent tid bit, use your yelp check in and show it to the admissions person and you get one FREE ticket =D Saved us $4. The tour is really quick and painless. They do make a lot of "Moooo" jokes. You'll get over it =D The factory is really small. It's an interesting experience. I would recommend going once and that's it. Not worth going a second time.
Only thing I wish they had was more rare/exotic flavors for you to buy at their food store. Not that many choices to choose from. A little disappointed. Another huge disappointment was the smoothie. I specifically ordered the strawberry lemonade smoothie and what I got was an icee. If that's what you call a smoothie, then they Failed!!
Excellent factory tour. Was really cool to see as a fan of their products. I highly recommend going if you can. Really pretty area and fun to be on site!
Great place for kids and families. Great selection of flavors, but huge crowds on weekends, especially when you add lot of sugar craving kids and adults! Good location and friendly staff
Our tour guide Jackson sang! He was awesome. Fun tour
Quick tour ending in a sample. Very charming, and a great stop if you're in the area. Be aware that some days you can't see the production because they are cleaning the tanks, still worth a look.
Such an awesome place to visit. Friendly staff, cool tour, great ice cream
so much fun! the tour guide was hilarious, the ice cream was of course amazing!
Made a short day trip to visit Ben & Jerry's. Worth the drive if you haven't been.
Friendly and educational tour. Icecream graveyard is a must to visit. It bring back your memory.
Between the scoop shop and the flavor graveyard, this place is the best!
Great place and able to try any flavor....cool tour and a large variety of gifts at the gift shop.
A great place to visit for a behind-the-scenes look at a well-loved company.
Got there late I'm the day but they are open until 1900. Picked up a B&J ice cream scoop and then a tub of 3 flavours.
Great time and funny guide. A must if you are in the area. Able to sample a flavor not available to the public.
All in all pretty disappointing. A short tour where you just look at a bunch of pipes and vats.you get a small cup of ice cream at the end. PS, Ben and Jerry, there are other flavors in the world besides chocolate.
It s good to have Ice cream if you are craving for it. I love Ben &Jerry Ice-cream, however I felt, this place is over hyped and over here priced. You can find same ice cream flavor any where in US in less amount.
Location is good, there are different timings for Ben &Jerry factory tour. Make sure you have at least 2 hr to spend there, because there will be a huge line for ice cream and factory tour.
A must place to go if u r in near Stowe, vt. Their mission is so much more than just making quality ice cream. Loved the factory tour
The tour kinda sucked. We were to far from the factory equipment and to rushed to actually see how it's functioning. They were stingy on the free samples, just one that was most likely the left overs of a new flavor that failed the taste test. And the first part of the tour consisted of watching a weird wanna be documentry on the place...... 39 minutes to get a ice cream cone that was over priced. Though it was kick ass good. People working there were clearly stressed out/overwemed, not the type for good conversation.
Went during Winter Fest which saw the factory receive way more visitors than usual for the time we went. The staff handled everyone so well, the tour was fantastic, and the facility is great!
Tour is fun, but a bit too kitschy. Sad to know Ben & Jerry s vision and values is now owned by Unilever. The worst part: NOT ALL FLAVORS are available at the scoop shop :-(The product is still great though. Worth the stop.
The flavor graveyard is amusing. The tour was enjoyable and the free sample delicious! No special flavors or discounted prices or anything like that though. There is a small playground for kids to play on and a few good photo opportunities outside.
This place speaks for itself. A bit of history, as well as some great ice cream makes it fun to come here. The view from their hill top store is beautiful as well.
Take the tour (about $3) and visit the flavor graveyard up on the hill.. Lots of fun AND a small tasting sample is included.
Awesome place the tour is very cheap and they give you a sample at the end
Disappointing tour, more like long advertising campaign and very hard to really see what is happening in the factory. May be ok if they didn't charge you!
So I come here with my family and we came from Virginia just to see the tour. It took us over 20 hours to get here because we were on vacation visiting many other places. This place was one of the choices we were going to visit while on vacation. When we arrived there on a little earlier, the tour was sold out and the worker said it to us rudely about the sale instead of calling the manager or owner to take care of the problem. My siblings were able to go in for free because they are under 12, but the way they said it to us about them going in was really rude. I'm just going to say that this Ben and Jerry's has the worst customer service ever.
The tour was fun but not free ($4). The merchandise was high priced but cool. We went on holiday weekend so very packed. The line to buy ice cream was over 30 minute wait.
I was generally unimpressed by the tour, which was mostly led by video rather than by the tired, overtaxed tour guide. On the weekend, the factory isn't operational, so the one part where you could get to see the icrcream made was not even happening. The sample at the end was about half a scoop.
You're better off skipping the tour and buying some B&J's from the grocery store. ;)
We love ice cream, and during our 3 day stay in Vermont ate Ben & Jerry s everyday.
We went to the factory twice. The factory tours were not offered but the store was open. They have a lot of options and even had 3 non dairy options, which were really good.
Interesting tour, very entertaining guide, delicious ice cream.
The ice cream isn t bad, but I could do without the political propaganda for kids all over the place. Literally all over. Posters in the entry hall, an Action center with political action posters, and hide-n-seek questions about poverty, hunger, and racism in the courtyard. You know what wasn t there? Information about obesity and diabetes.
Tour guides are funny and charming & they give free sample of icecream at the end of the tour
I loved the tour, and the ice cream they give you at the end.
Fun, Interesting and Yummy!! Tours start every 15 minutes!!
The reason I've gained twenty pounds in four months... Worth it
Tons of fun! A great look into your favorite flavors of Ben and Jerry's. A short tour and a stroll through the grounds is a great way to spend your afternoon in Vermont.
This place is great! They take the needed precautions to ensure safety, not only for this pandemic, but for people who have allergies to nuts. It is truly a place one does not want to miss when traveling through Waterbury!
