This is going to be fairly unorganized, but here is my experience on a Monday night. There was a large organization meeting there that night, so a lot of rooms were booked but not many people were gambling.

Room was adequate, service was great and I was made to feel very welcome there by all of the staff. A few of the staff at the entrance to the Casino area were rude until they ran my ID and asked my age, but I suppose that's be to expected. There would definitely be problems if they did happen to let someone underaged inside.

It was a few days after my 21st and I received a brownie and a bead necklace at the "my points" counter when I signed up for a rewards card. Would recommend to friends but you definitely have to be careful with how much cash you bring in.

Smoking:
Entire hotel area allowed smoking in almost every area (some areas were designated as non-smoking, like some rooms and slot machine areas), which was surprising to me being a Kentucky resident, as most places are non-smoking now. No complaints from me, but if you don't smoke and hate smoke I'd recommend staying home.

Price:
Beer was priced decently with a special on domestics, but cigarettes were $10.00 a pack. Yes, ten dollars! Buy a carton before you come if you are a smoker. Buffet was delicious, and while a bit pricey at $20 (I believe it is more expensive on weekends and they have crab legs) a person, but they're not trying to rush you out and everything I tried was great, especially the cheesecake. Ate three plates full and had no complaints besides the greenbeans, which were under seasoned. I didn't step foot in any of the restaurants or souvenir shops.

Gambling:
The entire Casino area was a good experience, immediately won when I walked in and while I lost majority of my winnings and went home with just a little bit more than I came in with, I had a blast. Slots varied from penny slots to $10 slots, but make sure you realize how much your max bets are if you're going that route. Most penny slots were 180 credits for a max bet, so it was either 180 credits worth $0.01 ($1.80), 180 credits worth $0.02 ($3.60) or 180 credits worth $0.05 ($9.00). I didn't play any of the card games or roulette while I was there, but the same people were playing almost every time I walked by. I asked if I could watch for a bit and everyone was friendly but I quickly moved on.

Overall it was a great stay. Wish I would've won more, but I'll definitely be back!

We went to the casino. Didn't win enough to even keep playing and have fun. Ate at the hamburger place in the third floor. Hamburger and fries were good but the tables were gross. Wait staff the brings drinks and tends bar seemed very nice. Wouldn't drive hours to visit there again for gaming.

I was treated so rude by one of the supervisors, they claim that our ID was not valid, our ID it is completely valid, the supervisor was rude and the lady at the gate would not even try to verify the ID I felt so discriminated there was another couple that was having the same problem she did verify their IDs and tried to help the other couple as much as they could to run their ID through but ours was not even looked at they just said we don't accept this period, it is a casino you are going to have IDs from different countries you need to be prepared and educated about the government IDs for different countries. The other couple was white I guess my skin color was an issue for this guy! I will never drive 90 mins to this casino in my life, it was my favorite until today!

Belterra is as close to a Vegas resort as you can get without being in Vegas. The only problem; it is literally in the middle of nowhere. However, small town America is within short driving distance along with a nice local winery and several distilleries. Rooms at Belterra are always clean, and staff are always helpful. Buffet is A+

Terrible I will NEVER return to that establishment, I went there with my husband with reservations made prior...they have charged me twice for the room, payed cash for room and then they charged my credit card, not to mention we could not eat at none of the restaurants because they were booked until 11pm, who wants to wait that long for dinner, needless to say we had to order room service and all we could get wad pizza...I suggest not going to this place...they suck

Our recent visit had alot of hiccups. We arrived for check in at 4 and did not get a room till nearly 6, and we ended up not getting the room we reserved due to it not being ready. We went to eat at Stadium and were put on the wait list, they call you when your table is ready. We put down our number and were told it would 15 to 20 minutes. After about 25 minutes we did not get a call so I walked back up and was asked how far along we were, I was informed that they had been trying to call us and I requested they read back the number, the number read back was incorrect and instead of apologizing I was met with "not my fault, we write what we hear"... This really ticked me off... So we sat down and thank god our waitress was amazing and even helped me with finding some vegetarian options.

My husband and I always come to the buffet whenever we are in the area. Unfortunately the service has deteriorated over the years. The food is lukewarm and the line for steaks, chops, etc is extremely to long. Very sad to see it going down hill especially with the price you spend to eat there.

I was really impressed with this resort. The casino was clean, blackjack tables paid 3 to 2, and had surrender. Somewhat rare. The resort had a great show the night we were there. The golf course is said to be fantastic and we had a great meal at the resort as well.

Very nice casino resort just on the Indiana side of the Ohio River, between Cincinnati and Louisville. I stayed on business at the multistory resort hotel which was very nice. There are really nice restaurants inside. And the casino itself is on a boat on the river, but you'd hardly know it when you're inside, it looks like any other casino really. I would stay again just to stay at the resort.

Comfortable room. Unbelievable bathroom. Great food & loose slots on Sunday mornings. If you need anything, they're literally the only game in town so be prepared to pay for whatever you may need. If you're in a room on the upper floors, there ain't nothing to look at! Florence, Indiana needs to raise its profile.
