I have had the best experience at Coral Reef off Stack. We didn t start daycare until my son was a year and a half so we were worried about the transition. The staff went out of their way to comfort him. Every time I picked him up his teacher would be holding him and comforting him. I also would bring a special lunch that hey would heat up and serve to him everyday for lunch. A lot of schools will not do that. His teachers Tabitha and Shaniqua are amazing and so kind. When we come and go we are always greeted and by name. Out of all the schools that I toured this one was the best by far. We are so happy here! Thanks Cora Reef for all you do!

My daughter attended CRA and was recently disenrolled. Not for any negative reason, simply because we are now able to keep her home. While she was there, she was well cared for. We had a pretty rigid schedule established before we enrolled her and each of her teachers did their best to ensure they kept her on that schedule the best that they could. Daily report papers were verified by random pop in visits. Everytime I would pick my LO up from school I was greeted with a smile, both from the teachers and my LO. Her diaper was always changed and all of her stuff ready to go. We were a little nervous at first because we were not sure how she was going to handle the change but she made friends very quickly and adapted well. Furthermore, the office staff outside of the classroom were courteous, polite and respectful. If I had a question, I always got an answer. No person or place is perfect but what sets CRA apart from the rest is Professionalism and Care! They made a tough experience for a first time Dad a lot easier! Thanks for everything!

I am very picky when it comes to my child's happiness and education! My son is 14 months and has never been in day care before. I was very concerned about leaving my son at day care all day, but after I met the staff I was very surprised by how amazing they were with all the children . The reception ladies are awesome about letting me know how my baby is doing, and if he is feeling bad for some reason they will contact me. Ms. Tabatha and Shiniqua are the teachers that stay with my child's class, and honestly they are like two angels in our life ! They take care of my baby as if he was their own! I am amazed by how they were able to put my baby on a schedule and make all children sleep at the same time for nap time. My son loves them ! All of the kids seem really happy every time go see my son. He doesn't cry when I drop him off anymore and is very happy to go to day care. As far as the meals , they follow a diet that lets the kids try a little bit of everything. They always make sure the kids have their carbs, veggies, protein and fruit for most of the meals. My son goes to the stack location, which is an old one but was the one that showed more passion, care and professionalism ! Love the team and really recommend it !!!!

I can t be more blessed and thankful my son was able to get a spot for VPK because this is hands down the best VPK school for vpk in Brevard Co. So so so greatful for this place and so is my 4 year old who was so scared to go until he got to this place and changed our outlook for both of us, thank you CRA teachers and staff and I can t wait to get to know you all throughout the school year this year. I also love you can watch through the camera to see your kids at naptime and at the playground so that s very reassuring and also the daycare's app and emails are very helpful for getting notes of when to bring in items, reminders about events and i love seeing photos of what the kids/ my son did on some days. I like that I don't have to get a piece of paper everyday and can look up history in the app. The classrooms are clean and bright and the environment is very cheerful. This place deserves an a plus plus and 10 stars I m just saying five stars doesn t do justice to see if yourself!

My son has been going to Coral Reef Academy for aftercare. The staff is very friendly, the facility is very clean and affordable. My son absolutely loves it there and I will sign him up for aftercare again and again until he is too old to go or if we move out of town. Whichever comes first.

I absolutely love this place for my son. We switched to this daycare around June of this year and have had no complaints. The staff is friendly, patient, and willing to hear and address any questions and or concerns. My son has always been a happy child but he's learning so much and they are reinforcing what we teach him at home which is a plus. We asked to have him moved to the 2 year old room sooner as he seemed to be getting bored with what he had already learned in the 1 year old room. We as parents didn't want our son to become bored with learning as well so we requested the change and they gladly accommodated that request and now our son talks a lot more. He loves to count, tell me his colors, and shapes. I love the growth!

Recently, they had a Fall Festival with games and prizes that they put on for the children and their families and it was absolutely amazing!!! My son had a blast. I got to meet parents of my son's classmates, and my husband and I were even more secure that we made the right decision for our son by switching him to that daycare. Thanks CRA! You guys are absolutely amazing.

Our daughter attended this school for two years and it was such a wonderful part of our lives! They were always kind, patient, and attentive with our toddler as she grew into a preschooler. There was never a moment when we didn't feel welcome and even loved by the staff at this school. The facilities are always clean, the staff is always friendly, and they are very accommodating with children's allergies and other needs. I would wholeheartedly recommend this school to anyone looking for a happy addition to their family, wether it be for the working parent or a stay at home mom who wants a supportive place to socialize their child.

My daughter went here for only a month a few years ago. Unless it is much different I would never recommend. The teacher was changed ever day and never knew who I was or who was my daughter! The last day the teacher couldn t find her so asked next door who also didn t know who she was. She was in the bathroom! The office manager was so rude when I brought this to their attention I pulled out immediately. If a child is unable to identify them self there should be some teacher who can!

My child had been on the waiting list for over 3 months and they said he was next on the waiting list, they gave another child my spot and never had the decency to call me and let me know when I called back a week later it was gone. They obviously only enroll family and friends and my child was not important enough to get a spot.

Horrible staff they did not care about my nephews safty in anyway and denied his mother her rights to look at video footage when trying to figure out what was going on in the classroom to see why her child was acting the way he was. My nephew is one of the sweetest little boys I have ever met and has NEVER had and issues until he was enrolled here. I am sorely disappointed after having read such great reviews from other people.

My 4yo son has been going here for a few weeks now. He really loves it. He tells me all about his friends and teachers. He still has lots to learn while interacting with other kids and new teachers but he will get there. Being here will help him learn on how to behave when mommy or daddy is not around. It's always clean when I am here picking up or dropping off. Even the baby area looks nice. They are ALWAYS attending to the little ones. His teacher greets him every morning and makes him feel welcomed.

I will give them 2 stars because their facilities are new, clean and very functional. My baby was miserable at CRA on Nasa Blvd, he cried and screamed bloody murder every morning when I dropped him off, very few times the teacher would try to comfort him, I had to leave while my child cried and chased me to the door in tears, and the teacher had her head buried on the paperwork. I was a preschool teacher, I know that DCF ratios are ridiculous and the amount of work can be overwhelming but I know she could had done a better job on that. Also my baby for some reason wouldn't bond with any of them, for an entire month he didn't eat while at daycare, that was very frustrating. Dealing with the front desk staff always felt like business. The entire experience made me feel like my child was just profit for them. Overall this was a hapless event. A nice building but soulless. My baby went to CRA on Stack Blvd and we liked it better there and were hoping to transfer him back , but ultimately decided to go to another daycare, so far he is doing very good, eating, playing and being a happy baby.

We switched our 18 month old daughter from Pineapple Cove to Coral Reef Academy 3 months ago and absolutely love it! No complaints at all. The daycare is very clean, the staff is genuinely nice and honest. My daughter is always happy when I drop her off and happy when I pick her up, she never wants to leave when she sees me walk into the room at the end of the day because she is always having such a great time. Her hands, face, and nose are always clean, and she has never had a soiled or wet diaper when picking her up. We love her teachers. There is always at least one teacher sitting on the floor interacting with the kids, not just standing over watching them. They give her dad and I a full report at the end of the day upon picking her up. They are great at keeping tabs on the kids at all times and extremely good at keeping up on washing their hands! When our daughter was at a previous daycare she was sick every single week, her hands and face would be visibly soiled everyday, and was constantly getting hurt. Since she has been at CRA they have her wash her hands when coming into the room and whenever they switch rooms or come inside from the play ground, and before/after eating. And since she has been here she has not been sick and not gotten hurt once. Several people recommended CRA to us and I really wish we found them sooner!! She has learned so much in just the few months she has been at CRA. We would recommend them to anyone. They are the best !!

My 5 yr old attends VPK, and became ill during school last week, in his own words the staff "took care and loved me so nice" as a working mom who hated that she couldn't get to him right away, it is so nice to know he was loved on and tended to until I arrived.

Had an incident one morning while taking my 1 year...

Had an incident one morning while taking my 1 year old to breakfast. I asked for his cup and was handed a cup that was not what I provided the day care with. I let the lady know it wasn't his and she responded "It has his name on it, this is the one he has been using." OK so they lost his cup, no big deal. BUT the cup she handed me was DIRTY, it was crusted with leftover food and still had liquid sitting inside the cup. I was upset and the director walked in and I let him know my problem. All he could say was "I assure you we abide by the utmost standards and your son would not have been served a dirty cup." This is a LIE because had I not been there she would have handed someone else a dirty cup who wouldn't have looked so closely and filled it with milk.
They were discussing the cup situation and the lady said, "whoever worked last night did not wash the cups." I looked around the cafeteria and watched multiple children sitting with their cups that were most likely NEVER WASHED the night before let alone even their cups! His solution was for me to buy another cup and he would pay for it. MY biggest problem was that had I not been there my child would have been drinking from a nasty DIRTY cup. They failed to assure me anything except that they are unable to abide by health standards and cannot take responsibility for THEIR mistakes. Ever since that day they were very unprofessional towards me and made me feel very uncomfortable to even bring my child to their facility. Their employees and head staff are lazy and irresponsible if they can't even handle to WASH a child's cup and CHECK to make sure their employees are doing their job correctly. I had to remove him from the daycare due to the negativity and didn't want my child to suffer as and outcast because THEY gave him a DIRTY cup that THEY didn't clean and I brought it to their attention. It's my job and my right to speak for my child and they did not respect that right and showed a lack of professionalism during and after the incident.

As a parent AND employee at this preschool, all needs are met. The owners, managment, teachers and staff and very welcoming and professional. Every child is cared for the same. My kids and myself are always happy going to school. I would highly recommend this preschool, even to those picky parents (by the way, you're not alone)! You won't be disappointed.

My time at Coral Reef started 5 years ago when aft...

My time at Coral Reef started 5 years ago when after looking at different child care centers all day, I finally walked into one where I and my child were felt welcome and like family. One of the owners took my 1 year old daughter s hand as she gave us a tour and made sure to get on her level when she asked a couple of questions. She took extra care to show her the room she would go to. It started our relationship and friendship with the center that also included my newborn starting to go there when she was 8 weeks old. I have loved every single teacher that each of my children have had. The teachers have all gone above and beyond making sure each child feels loved and learns as much as they can. Each child and most of the parents are all greeted by name when they come in and are said goodbye to when they leave. My older daughter just started Kindergarten and is one of the most advanced in the class. I attribute this to the years she had of learning her ABCs and 123s and then going into the great VPK program that they offer there. I became very involved with the center helping anyway that I could and this was paid back to me double time when after being laid off from job, they were nice enough to offer me one to help keep an income flowing into our household. I am sad to be moving on to my new job only because I wish I could take this child care center with me. They are also moving on to bigger and better things with a new center opening early next year. I wish them all the luck and happiness and will definitely be visiting when I am back in the area. I know my children and I will still be greeted by our first name.

Thank you for making my children feel surrounded by love when I was at work,

Kelli

Parent, Friend, and former employee :)

My 2yr old has been going to Coral Reef since she was 6mo old. In her 2 yrs at the daycare, I have had the best experience. Teachers and Office staff are very friendly and the environment all together is very happy and fun.

I love my daughters teachers. They have all been so loving and kind toward my daughter and they have all taught her so much!
The classrooms are also very fun and bright which is important to me because my daughter is excited and happy to go to school.

My overall experience has been amazing and my daughter will continue going to Coral Reef for years to come!!

My son has been attending Coral Reef on Stack Blvd since he was 1 years old, he's 6 now. I wouldn't trust any other facility/teachers to watch my child. The staff and owners are very friendly and truly care about the children in their care. It's comforting to know that my child is in great hands, when he's not with me.

Coral Reef is always really accommodating with dietary restrictions, we are able to bring my son's special milk. My son's language skills and personality are bubbling out because of his sweet teachers, who he loves!

The Melbourne facility held a spot for 80 bucks. When I interviewed them I asked how they would handle an asthma attack. She said do cpr. Then she said call 911. I asked why she wouldn t give him the inhaler. She said because they give meds only at 9am and 2pm. They said no exceptions , it s policy. When I insisted on returning my fee, they denied me

The teachers are great but the front office staff sucks. I pay two weeks at a time; my son went his first week and was sick his second week but instand of using the money for a different week they wouldn't even with a doctors note. Don't send your child here unless you want to give your hard worked money away for FREE.

The first signs that something was wrong was when ...

The first signs that something was wrong was when I was informed the daycare had given my son a bottle that was not his. I walked in one day to one worker playing with another baby girl with a pen and lightly tickling her face. The same pen next to the changing station that was used for daily poop reports. A mobile baby crawled up to a non-mobile baby and hit him across the face with a toy pretty hard. The baby cried the entire time I was there and I watched them move the baby who was hit to the other side of the room and placed him alone on the floor. They told the other baby not nice . My son came home before he even hit his two-month mark with a daily report that said he had eaten solids. I would take him home and check his diaper and it hadn t been changed in so long that his poop was glued to his diaper and skin. When my son developed a rash we were asking that the daycare slowly ween him to another formula as we were doing at home. When I had asked him if he needed more formula after telling them to go back to using Enfamil, I was told that he was just being given what the daycare provided because he ran out. I was never informed of him running low or even out of formula. I found out the hard way baby powder was being used on him as it created a sludge in his neck after doing what the doctor told us to do for the redness that was occurring. I heard an employee from another room discussing in the front office how to write home a report that a child had climbed onto something and got hurt. The office warned the adult or teacher to change the wording to a self-injury . Not what I want to hear as a parent. The adults in the infant room would correct each other in front of me. You know you can t put a baby in the crib with a bib on! It really had me thinking what else are you incompetent about?
#10: I got another form stating that my son had eaten solids. Having dismissed the last one as a made up form, I had found after hours of pain and a suppository, my son had his first solid poop before he was even three months old. #11: After surprising them when I had gotten out of work early, I had found my son screaming in a room where his soft cries were drowned out by many other babies. He had not eaten in 5 hours. He eats every 4 hours, and sometimes 8 ounces. I started becoming emotionally overwhelmed when I was told he never smiles. He only smiles and laughs at home and rarely cries unless hungry.
The last problem still gets me worked up and I guess I should have listened to my instincts sooner and stopped seeing any of the concerns above as minor. They had recently implemented a no blanket rule so that no parent could say another baby was seen using another baby s blanket. I walked into the facility and looked around at the full room and could not see my son. I stared at a baby in a walker near the door crying in the corner trying to figure out how to turn the walker Snot running into his mouth... A worker noticed me looking at him and had told another worker to wipe off his mouth. I looked at another screaming baby who was doing tummy time with full chunks of boogers and snot on her face and she told the lady to wipe off her mouth too. I suddenly realized my son was completely underneath one of their standard daycare blankets in a fold out bassinet. You couldn t see his entire body or face. When I realized it, I hurried to pull him out. He was sweaty from the heat of not getting air and from crying at the top of his lungs with his eyes shut. They informed me he was OK and just fighting sleep the entire day. He has not been back since.

Coral Reef Academy on Stack Blvd is a great daycare. The front desk staff is always nice and courteous and the teachers take great care of the children. I like that teachers are always willing to answer your questions and talk about any concerns. The kids have a plan for each day and the teachers are very engaging with the students. The daycare's app is very helpful for getting notes of when to bring in items, reminders about events and it is always fun to see a photo of what a child did on some days. I like that I don't have to get a piece of paper everyday and can look up history in the app. The classrooms are clean and bright and the environment is very cheerful.

My daughter who is two and attends Coral Reef Academy is always having a blast and the staff are friendly and professional. I really like how they have events for the kids such as book fairs, thanksgiving feast, Halloween parties, etc because my daughter always has so much fun and I love for her to participate. I also love how they are education driven. Since attending my daughter has learned to count, her colors, shapes, letters, songs, speech improvements, and more. They take great care of my daughter and handle situations (if any should arise, promptly and professionally). We love Coral Reef and will continue to have them also be the daycare of our infant as well! Amazing place!

My 2 year old daughter has been going to CRA for a few months now and it is fantastic! The staff is wonderful and extremely caring. Everything is always so clean and well kept. My daughter loves her teachers, they are amazing and have helped her learn new things. She has began to speak more and she has become so much more independent she is not the same little girl that started there! I recommend this daycare to everyone I know! They even have a spring break program and a summer program where I can bring my 11 year old son to CRA as well and they do so much stuff with them! Nothing but wonderful things to say I absoultely love CRA!

My 3 children have all attended CRA. My oldest is 18 and my middle daughter who is 14 started when they were 4 and 7 and went right up until the cut off of age 12. We have been a part of the CR family over 10 years. My now 3 year old attends and her teacher is amazing! She comes home learning new things and can tell me the letter, number, shape, and songs they are focusing on. That amazes me. It shows that teaching is happening. All of the staff I encounter are smiling, singing, and kind. They acknowledge my daughter and I, even though she isn't their student. The front staff are wonderful and always there to answer questions or ready with a sticker and hug if your child is having a rough time at drop off. I'm sad to see these poor reviews because I know so many parents who have or had their children enrolled at CRA who I became close friends with. They were all very pleased with the care their children have received. All I can say is I'm no easy parent. I've worked in childcare and I know what to look for, the most chaotic times to show up to really see how things are handled, and what questions to ask. I was and still am impressed with CRA. The best thing you can do is go see for yourself. You too will be shocked at these reviews because this school is #1 and always improving.

The front desk staff barely speaks when you walk in. My son started at this school after moving from out of state. I was told that according to their roster, my younger baby should have a spot by January. The end of December came, two weeks before i was to start my new job, I was informed that my baby no longer has a January spot. There is no mistaking how many children will turn 1 in January and how many spots will become available. My baby's spot was given to someone else. I was stuck scrambling to find a new school for both of my children on short notice. My four year old has now had to change schools twice in the last few months. Once from moving out of state and once because my younger child no longer has a January spot. This broke my heart for my 4 year old. I had to explain to him that it was not his fault that he had to leave another school. If I would have known this would happen, I would have chosen another school from the beginning. Beware!
