Absolutely unsatisfied !! You can count on it that you have lost a lot of money for very short-term consultations. For both pet and owner there is hardly any empathy to be expected from the (leading) veterinarian. For several animals had a wrong diagnosis and an incorrect invoice. This man cannot be discussed. Fortunately there is the possibility in Emmeloord to choose a different veterinarian (practice) and I would heartily recommend that!

I had to put my dog to sleep at this practice yesterday.
I don't normally write reviews, but I write these in hopes that someone else will be spared this experience in the future.
My experience:
My almost 10 year old darling (King Charles Cavalier) was suffering from epilepsy. This eventually became fatal to her.
The day before yesterday (Saturday) my dog had a seizure that lasted way too long; medicines were collected from this practice and given at home. We kept her with us for another night but the next morning she was unable to walk and remained in an attack. I decided to LOVE her to sleep.
I had a severe heart attack (5 stents) two years ago and nearly suffered physically and mentally. My "Snoopy" has helped me tremendously during this difficult period, partly because of her I recovered.
For us, Snoopy is more than a dog, a family member, a sister ... someone you love intensely.
If you have to, do it with feeling!
I do not know why this vet has acted this way and as a customer / patient I have no use for that at the time. I am certainly not waiting for an excuse or explanation. I am very angry!!
This doctor was only concerned with preparing the syringes and nothing else!
No guidance in any form. Just come in, prepare the syringe, administer and then draw up the invoice. When I asked in tears if my dog would get 1 or 2 syringes, I was told in a derogatory tone only the number "2" and then continued with his technical actions.
This doctor may be happy that at the time I was very sad and had to say goodbye to my dog, but otherwise I would have scolded him full.
After the first syringe (sleeping aid) I went outside with my dog to sit on a bench, so that she could fall asleep in my arms in a nice way and then get the fatal syringe back inside. I am glad I did it that way, it was worth dying for her. I don't think I should have had that moment with her when the doctor was there.
Maybe there are other doctors working in this clinic who can compensate for this "jerk" (my own opinion) with their love of animals, otherwise I would not recommend this clinic when it comes to situations like this.
In any case I will never be there again !!!!!

Been with the dog several times. Initially with simple complaints for which no solution was found, not even after several very expensive courses of antibiotics. Another veterinary clinic eventually solved this with a jar of fiber for 11 Euro, which works very well. Then a serious problem in our view. The diagnosis came down to a brain tumor and actually putting the dog to sleep would be the only option, despite the fact that we came to a different conclusion on the internet. In the end, having a brain scan made in Germany for a considerable amount, which showed that nothing was wrong and that our idea turned out to be correct. After consultation with the veterinary clinic, they did not want to acknowledge the error. We would all have misunderstood it ourselves. After a lot of fives and sixes I got 40 Euro back, just for the consultation. They did not want to repay the rest of the amount. What I found the worst part, however, was that they refused to acknowledge the mistake. This can also happen to other pet owners and then maybe put an animal to sleep that is not that sick at all. Moreover, this condition has created a lot of stress and grief in my family, completely unnecessarily. I later read reviews from other people who had the same experience with the chef de clinic. Too bad I haven't read it before.
What a super expert horse doctor Sjoerd we have seen !!
BAD !!!! Have been there with our dog (alaskan malamute) .. had tests, and received medication for so-called grass allergy. A rib from our body. Even if we have everything for our animal, even if we have to sell our house for it. How pained that animal was. In July he was still happy with the vet, it turned out that he had a malignant tumor on his back. There he was operated on immediately, and we now have a happy and healthy dog back.
Very satisfied with this clinic, we live in a different place but always go to Emmeloord. The doctors and assistants think along with you, are very knowledgeable and they really take the time for your animal and you as the owner of your animal. Very nice!

Our local vet could not figure out what was wrong with our 14-year-old male who had already lost 25% of his weight and refused to eat. After calling around, we could urgently go to the Emmeloord Veterinary Clinic (second line) next day. They had a quick diagnosis that it was a liver disease of our cat in combination with overly active thyroid gland. Within a week the cat started eating again and is now completely old again. Thank thank thank you for your quick help and the correct diagnosis of Dr. Tjalsma.

What toppers there. While we came for an inspection of a young dog, they looked at an eye problem of our older dog in between, of their own accord. This turned out to be more serious than expected and had to be treated immediately. They took the time and effort (which they actually didn't have) and immediately gave our dog the necessary treatment.

Very sad, last week saturday evening by the vet because we were worried about our cat who was operated 3 weeks back at vet weltevree, weltevree itself had no service Saturday so we went to this doctor. The visit lasted less than 3 minutes since nothing was wrong and it was immediately noticed that the cat was just very cold. Very relief of course. Today we get the bill today. 99.75 for 3 minutes of advice. People beware. These are people who go about the hearts of animal lovers. Earning 100 per 3 min is bizarre. We are fortunately insured so the insurance takes this account for us but if this had not been the case were certainly appealed. Bizarre. Please visit animal welfare well. The clinic is perfect, the doctors care about the animals and it radiates that. What I do mind are the rates. We stopped by our cat on a Monday evening at 7:15 PM after we called. Very nice that the doctor wanted to come because the cat was (according to us not in good shape), there was an abses jumped on the side of his body and a very bare horsepeck of 3 cm. He received 2 innections at 12 and the consultation was 85 excl. For 20 minutes. And medicines were added. Just tick 153 in a short time. That will be eating macaroni the next week (just kidding) but we thought it was quite expensive. But yes we are happy that our cat has been helped.
