A very well designed and maintained music centre, lots of stuff to see, good for music playing children with lots of hands on instruments. Educational and relaxing. I think it was worth the ticket price.

It's pretty nice but you don't get access to some of the exhibits with general admission, the staff aren't particularly helpful or friendly, I haven't heard of half the artists or bands featured, there's no parking, when you can find parking it's overpriced.
It's really not worth the admission. I literally would have rather spent $70 anywhere else.
I would rather just throw it into the wind than come back here.

This museum was so disappointing!! It is mostly interactive but either parents have no control of their children or people think it is a studio (not a museum) and you never get a chance to participate in the interactive piece of the museum.
I would not recommend this museum!

Maybe I just missed something, but in spite of the stunning architecture and the interesting exhibits this place is screaming for some artists-in-residence. Regular chances to see Canadian talent working live would probably make this one of the top attractions in Alberta. Unfortunately, a lot of people don't even seem to know it's there. Limiting the studio tour to one afternoon a week is disappointing too.

Absolutely stunning collection of instruments and gear to see on the Behind The Scenes tour. Main museum is definitely worth it as well. Definitely not to be missed for any music fan or musician.

I was really impressed with this museum. I have been to Xperience Music Project in Seattle and Studio Bell is way way better. Awesome to see so many Canadian musicians celebrated. Also be sure to check out the silent movie organ demonstration, it really is something special.

Went to the music museum, and saw an amateur concert while I was there. It was a really amazing experience. Got to see in trumpets and mixers used by famous musicians like Elton John, or Bare naked ladies.

Would certainly recommend.

A very interesting place. Lots of instruments to try, such as a xylophone, ukulele, banging sticks, and pianos. They really focus on Canadian music and artists so prepare for a lot of that. I feel like it could've been a bit more interactive, but still had fun. I went during the $10 Tuesday date night admission so me and SO got our money's worth, but probably won't return until there are more exhibits or something because we were more interested in the instruments than artists.

You could easily spend the day in this big, beautiful building. It's so full of things and knowledge and everything Canadian music. There's a coffee shop adjacent too which is nice. Take the c-train and enjoy!

Amazing building, the architecture is fantastic. Had a deal to get in. They had a lot of extra things going on and 4 floors of exhibits to walk through. Seems like a great place to visit. The best part though was the building, very unique and interesting inside and out

A must see on your next visit to Calgary! The building by itself is a work of art, and the displays are brilliant, spacious and interactive. Canada has an incredible history of talented musicians and this is a wonderful show case.

A very cool museum! It is certainly worth checking out if you are interested in music or any music history. There is a great collection of instruments here, and the building itself is beautiful, it's a great time to explore it.

I finally managed to visit the National Music Centre and I have to say the space is amazing. They ve put so much work into the building and it looks beautiful. There s 5 floors and each one is dedicated to a different aspect of music history. From the pioneers of Canadian music to the instruments and even the production equipment used to create it. I would strongly suggest that if you haven t come here to visit.

Amazing place with beautiful exhibits and history. Museum entry cost is a little pricy, but worth it if you have any interest in music. Unfortunately many of the Guitar and Piano set ups on the 3rd and 4th floors weren't working and having public jam areas would be nice. Overall a great museum.

Interesting and beautiful building, informative about Canadian music and artists. Fascinating instruments you might not see anywhere else- I got to try a theramin! It s like the Science Centre in Toronto but very doable in a few hours. Just felt there could be more live performances, and a more in-depth look at some things, but very enjoyable.

I spent 2.5 gifts hours here to go through the entire exhibit. It's well worth the money! Beautiful building, and really good exhibits. I found it very educating especially learning about Canadian artists and music.
