Fun experience. Beautiful environments for the animals.

Pros: easy to get to, decent parking, great carousel.
Cons: exhibits were old, not very clean and extremely small for the animals they heldThere were SO MANY schools on field trips with way too many unsupervised students, it was almost impossible for regular visitors to get near or enjoy the exhibits.

Entrance staff were friendly and helpful. Some of the exhibits were a bit tired and overgrown, and some were closed. Nice picnic area. A couple of hours should be enough to see it all.

Small enough to enjoy in one day with small kids. Loved the tiger cubs! Focus is on the Americas!

Great time with lots to see. Not too expensive either. Awesome day with the family!

Fantastic place for kids and adults with a wide variety of animals and fun facts for learning.

They had a great system put into place due to covid. Some indoor activities were closed. It was all around fun and the staff was great!

We had a great time here with our 1.5 yo and friends (4, 3, and 4 months). The kids loved the animals and the place was very kid-friendly. Our only problem was with the dining at the Peacock Cafe; the line and the wait were horrendous. The workers were excellent and kind but clearly overworked. There was nowhere good to wait for your food order. Otherwise, all in all a great experience, and a great visit. Will definitely go again, but not around lunchtime!!! (The woman who parked us was awesome, too btw.)

Wish i could give it zero stars. Extremely small, animals are crammed in what looks like unkept cages. My dog has more space to run around in my back yard then the two tigers have crammed in the cage. Grass is over grown and weeds are every where. Terrible zoo. Terrible enviornment for the animals.

This was a relaxing place for me on Sundays. The wolf exhibit was special and the staff are very friendly and informed. I took many photos in the greenhouses while in was raining.

First time back and it was amazing to see the beautiful animals again! Everyone kept their distance and complied to the Zoo's new rules as far as we could tell, with lots of signs in place. So happy to be back!

Came from Texas. I enjoyed the staff, they are very friendly. The animals were awesome. The first gift shop I have ever been at without the gift shop prices.

Always a great place to spend time with my grandchildren

The animals are great and the peacocks roam around, literally walking up to you!

Was here one summer with the kids, they loved it, would return for another visit.

Update;
So we returned here October 2020 and gotta say we were quite disappointed by the amount of things that were closed 'due to covid', if you close half the attractions, then charge less money too. Was quite a waste of time and money there the second time around...

This is a small zoo, perfect for little kids and short visits.

Awsome zoo. Good amount of animals. Doesn't take to long to walk around and see everything.

small not much animals but loved family funday here

Our first time going, on a snow day, middle of winter. We had the place to ourselves and loved it. Some of the animals were hibernating but we still got to see a lot. If its chilly, definitely visit the reptile room or the wolf den. Both are beautiful and toasty. Overall loved it and recommend anyone to visit.

So easy to get to, quiet and a great value. Even though the zoo may be busy, you never feel crowded and the animals are easy to see from many different vantage points. Fun place to visit!!

Great place to bring the family and learn about conservation and wild animals in their habitat.

Very nice park to bring your children too or to just go and walk around to relax

Great zoo for small kids. Not a huge zoo but the carousel is a lot of fun and love the tigers and the wolf. Gift shop is a bit pricey. I am worried about how much the wolf paces here. Tiny tiger cups are so amazing.

Amazing place to spend the day with the little ones and family!

Great park to visit with family and friends. For birthdays and picnics as well. They have play grounds around the park for little ones and also baseball fields as well.

Great fun for both my 6 year old and 2 year old. Had a blast at a birthday party hosted there. Treated us all very well.

They didn't have a lot of animals that a traditional Zoo would have but it was still good

Came here for a program with Girl Scouts, it was a good time and a well put together program.

Great local zoo! Very knowledgeable and care greatly for the animals.

Several areas were closed. Sorry to say no more peacocks because parents didn't keep an eye on their children.

Since the changes Beardsley park is so much better now. I love going there to do my workout and spending time with my family and I especially love their Zoo they just got in a penguin can you imagine Love It . Like I said Beardsley Park you are awesome

Great layout and wonderful wildlife for children to see. My 5 year old loved it, but it was a little beyond my 2 year old. It took about 3 hours including lunch and a carousel ride.

Because of covid 19 a lot of exhibits were closed .

It is a great place to take my 2 year old son, he absolutely loves it.

This zoo is great! It is clean and in good shape. My friend and I had a great time and learned a lot. The staff was friendly and answered all of our questions. It's not a huge zoo but the few hours spent there was enjoyable.

I've been to this zoo so many times I've lost count. My problem is it never changes. It looks now like it did 30 years ago. If you are new to this zoo you will enjoy it. If you have been there several times you will be bored.

Fun quick trip for the little ones that can't handle an all day zoo trip

alot nicer than years ago. I will come back in the summer to see the rest of the animals.

I always lived in BPT still I love going to the Beardsley zoo even though the animals don't look alive MY SON LIKES GOING I LOVE GOING

Great place for family fun and learning about our environment and wildlife.

Love it. Small enough for my 3 year old son to always enjoy. Hsve a season oass so ww go often.

I loved the zoo and the setup they have during covid 19.

Great quick place to walk and see animals, you'd not normally get to see, especially if you can't get to bigger zoos. The Carousel is always fun, the grounds are pretty.

We had a great time visiting! While some exhibits are closed for renovations and covid, we still got our money's worth and had a fantastic trip.

It was wonderful I can't wait to come back. God bless everyone who takes care of the animals.

I would give it four stars as adult but my kids love it so I give it a 5

Not all of the exhibits are open. Still a good time for the kids.

Nice place to spend a couple hours with the kids most of the exhibits were open I would go again maybe a little earlier in the fall.

We went to breakfast with frosty at the zoo today. It's one of my favorite Christmas traditions. The zoo does a great job. It's a really nice event if you have little kids.

Super cute zoo. Animals were very active today and it wasn t very crowded. We got in very quickly and through the zoo in about 2 hours. Hope to see the zoo grow in the years coming.

Nothing like a peacock following you to your car or a wild turkey trying to break into the zoo.

Nice little Zoo. Perfect for kids under 12, because it is just big enough to spend a few hours. They are currently adding some new exhibits. Inexpensive ice cream is a big plus.
