My husband and I enjoyed a lovely lunch dining in their outdoor area. We both had a panini each which was DELICIOUS! The Pythian Hurdle was soooo good and I highly recommend it. The staff are also very friendly. Can t wait to come back and also catch a live band one day (when covid is no longer).

Class act. First time last Saturday to hear a Cuban jazz trumpeter and his group, who were fabulous musicians - did a Charlie Parker-Azvenour mash-up, among other things. Owner gets huge props for bookings like that.

I came a little late, but I was treated first class, and given a great table. The French Chardonnay is OK, a little pricey - but hey, your squatting if you're not building a little tab.

Don't ask them to cook anything if you're fussy - it's real plain food.

We came for a friends son's singing debut, an event put on by his singing coach.
The debut was very enjoyable with 10 or 11 participants and we really enjoyed their performances.

There is live Jazz on Friday and Saturday nights and we might stop by for a glass of wine.

Owned and operated by a local, long time peekskill family. A beautiful historic building with enclosed patio out back and a combo kid friendly playroom/lounge area. Peaceful setting, simple foods, VERY good coffee, excellent egg sandwich/breakfast special. Best soup in town, excellent wraps (all of which can be made in a GF wrap or in lettuce wrap), many healthy options. Downright fantastic live music performances on Friday and Saturday. Decent basic beer and wine selections. Likeable, personable staff; friendly owners are frequently present. One of the least expensive "dinner and a show" nights out in peekskill.

Great local place for a breakfast or a light lunch. Cozy atmosphere with brick walls and small tables. Wonderful homemade soup and cheescake. Entertainment in the evening covers a variety of genres with quite a bit of outstanding jazz. Changing exhibit of local artists on the wall.

I have been coming here for a couple of years and all thanks to Gina! Gina is the best!! I love the ambiance of this place but also love being able to show up in the morning and not having to say what I want because of someone like Gina who remembers my drink and food orders! She even remembers how I like my drinks and makes them exactly how I love them. This place is awesome and so thankful for their staff! Thanks for all of your help Gina.

Really nice people that work there. They are really amazing at accommodating my food allergies. The smoothies are perfect and made with the almond, soy or milk to meet your dietary needs. Great music on the weekends.

I came here on a Friday night when they had live music playing. The live music was very good , but it was $15 a head to even stay. My group went in for coffee and to sit down late at night, not even to see live music so it was a little frustrating that we had to leave because we couldn't afford to watch the live music that we didn't come to see specifically. The coffee was very good, the cappuccino was a little burnt, but they remade it very well. Service was fast considering the amount of people they were serving. Coffee prices were very good, like 3.5 for a latte made right.

I think this just wasn't the right spot for me. It seems like they have a full menu but I was just looking for a coffee spot. The coffee wasn't great. The daytime atmosphere was quiet at the shop, I thought perfect for reading a book and sipping a drink but the very loud smooth jazz recordings they were playing was very distracting. Maybe on a night I'm looking for dinner and live music it would work out, but not a chill afternoon coffee spot.

Was just traveling through town (am not a local) and came upon this little gem of a place. Super friendly, helpful and kind. Place is so cute and quirky inside. Food was very yummy. Must get the Peanut Butter Blast Smoothie if you like peanut butter! And if you forget a mask during these covid-19 times they will supply you with the cutest homemade masks. You should definitely stop by if you're in the area. It was raining when I went but if it's nice weather they have a little street blocked off to cars right in front where you can sit and eat outside

I really love this little coffee shop! The staff is very friendly and the food is really good. I had the best gyro here and the warm chocolate chip cookies are awesome! Coffee is really good and the atmosphere is relaxing. They have music on Saturday nights for a minimal cover charge. Perfect local hangout!

The cozy atmosphere reminds me of the village without going all the way to the city. The diversity and caliber of jazz musician you can not top for the mere $10.00 admission charge. The food is both comforting and tasty. Most importantly the welcoming sense of family allows you to relax and enjoy life.

Cute little cafe with live music some evenings. Paintings by locals hang on the walls lending an artsy feel.. The coffee is average. The French toast with cream cheese and strawberries was tasty. Service is friendly.

A Peekskill hometown original. Ted Bitter and Drew Claxton are the best there is!
Music venue, Art Venue and community meeting space, this is the place to be for good coffees, teas, etc and great soups and sammies. Now with expanded outdoor seating on closed Esther St Park!

Dining in was okay.... I had the French toast, nothing to rave about. Also portions are super small, which could be why the price is so affordable (not complaining about that).

Great coffee though, and I love getting their Bacon/egg/cheese to go!

I visited this cafe for the playroom they advertise on the website. It has degraded over time, and is now a few random toys in a separate space from the main cafe. This does the job when you need a few moments to drink your coffee, but they should reinvest in their playspace if it is something they are going to advertise.
