Chuck is a great guy and always does the right thing for customers. I have some unfortunate circumstances come up that were mostly outside of their control and he was able to make it right. Nice job on my siding and roof- Highly recommended.
Installing a new roof does not generally stimulate cartwheels in most people. Me either. As a perfectionist by nature, the thought of all the aggravation associated with the project was causing much trepidation! Well, the project is complete, I'm still a perfectionist and damn, these guys are good!! They actually exceeded my expectations from start to finish and fulfilled (and exceeded), all promises.
The project was the replacement of a commercial metal roof, fascia and soffits, on a 7800 square foot building. Additionally, the building shows a considerable amount of roof and therefore, "curb appeal" was a significant concern. I received five bids and Minnesota Roofing was middle of the road however, they were the only company who came thoroughly prepared to answer any and all questions AND were the only company with expedient and comprehensive follow up and follow through.
I had numerous discussions with Chuck (the owner of the company), who was actually on site nearly everyday. Nothing like a skilled and hungry business owner who recognizes customer service from the core and genuinely takes pride in his work and sees the value in creating a legacy.
Due to the scope of the work, there were several teams involved. Each was a reflection of the owners work ethic. They were timely, extremely neat and clean everyday, courteous and respected the fact that I had patients walking in and out of my doors all day long. Oh yes, I forgot to mention that it was all completed in the middle of a record snowfall, Minnesota winter!!
I would recommend Minnesota Roofing to anyone and without reservation. In fact, you NEED to see this roof! It's pretty cool! Thanks MN Roofing!!!

I contacted MN Roofing Co as I was very impressed with not only the quality of work that they performed but with their professionalism provided when my prior HOA used them this summer to install new roofs on our properties. There was no question of who I would call for my new gutters. Chuck & his staff have been nothing but kind, respectful, neat & timely when it comes to doing their jobs. They will be my contractor of choice in the future should I need roofing or siding work done.

I had a standing seam metal roof put on my house, and they did a great job. In addition, there were other repairs and change orders that were done along the way. All of the work was top notch, and they were fair with pricing. Thanks to Billy, Chuck, Josh and others for a pleasant experience. I would recommend them to anyone who asked.
I cannot recommend them enough! They dealt with my insurance company exclusively. The crew was professional and did a GREAT job. All of my questions were answered promptly. Lastly, and most important to me, they were always completely up front and honest about the process.
Horrible Customer service. They do not communicate well with the customer and fail a lot of times to show up when they say they will. Had to re-work a bunch of siding issues. Ordered and installed wrong windows, and failed to put in installation in the windows, so had to re-do those and now have a bunch of holes in the trim work and they aren't going to replace. Seems like they take short cuts to save a buck where ever possible and then have to spend more time and money later to re-work issues that we find. Did not clean up after themselves. I had to go around and pick up nails left behind on the ground and the roof. They say the will come out and take care of it, but don't show up when they are supposed to and don't tell you sometimes when they do show up. Communication is horrible with them.

He went out of his way to find out if the shingles we wanted were available in our area. They were! We are so happy with the results. The crew was right on time and were very professional. Where do I even begin with this awful company? Let's start with communication, or a lack thereof. Jon the salesman seemed good in person, but I had to really push to get a properly itemized quote explaining the breakdown of charges. Once I got this information, I was ready to move forward despite the price being higher than some other quotes I'd received. Minnesota Roofing Company seemed like they'd do the work properly and could be trusted to make the experience straightforward and painless. HOW VERY WRONG I WAS. I never received a schedule notification - just a "reminder" email on 8/1 telling me that they would be at my house "around 7:00 am" on 8/3. I wasn't thrilled about the late notice but I was happy that they were able to schedule so quickly. The day of the appointment, 7 o'clock came and went, but no one showed up. I gave them an ample grace period before calling to find out why I hadn't received any communication about their absence. The two women I spoke with on the phone were unhelpful and apathetic. (I thought maybe this was due to the early morning, but every time I spoke with them after this initial call, they were equally useless and Gwen made it VERY clear that she does not care about the customer experience.) The no-show was due to an unexpected emergency and we were able to reschedule. I wasn't happy about this but it wasn't the end of the world - at this point things still could have gone alright. When the rescheduled appointment arrived, the man was friendly and things were looking up. He and I walked through the work he was planning to do to ensure that we were on the same page and SURPRISE: Jon the salesman did not communicate with him that I was quoted for (and had paid a deposit for) 6" gutters, rather than standard 5" gutters. Since he does not keep the equipment for 6" gutters in his truck, he let me know that he would have to "find a guy to do them" and would let me know when he did. WEEKS PASSED and I did not receive a single communication from this company. I called and spoke with apathetic Gwen, but in so many words she told me that it is what it is. I called again on 8/24 and FINALLY received a real answer: they weren't going to be able to do the 6" gutters due to the type of fascia on my house. This is something that I would have expected Jon to have realized in the half hour that he spent compiling the initial quote, especially since the company I ultimately used noticed it within three minutes of meeting them. Jon sent me an email with a new quote, and I once again had to push for an itemization. This is where things went south quickly. All of his numbers were off. Why was I being charged a $434 2-story charge for 55 linear feet in the new quote, when the original quote had existing gutter removal, 2-story charge, splash guards, AND taxes listed at $348? This made no sense. Quoting me for 6" gutters and trying to install 5" gutters might have been an innocent mistake. Trying to cheat me on fudged numbers though? Not so innocent. This place is slimy and skeezy. I ended up requesting a refund of my deposit and was surprised that they gave me a full refund without trying to pull another shady stunt. I absolutely would not recommend them and suggest you find a company with integrity instead of these cheats.
Stop calling!!! I keep telling you guys NO and to remove me from your list, but you keep calling 2-3 times a day lately. I am not interested in scamming my insurance company. Keep calling and I will find a lawyer.
Our experience has been very positive in all aspects of our dealings with Minnesota Roofing. They have a "big picture" mentality which I very much appreciate. I have found them to be one of the most honest contractors I have dealt with which is very refreshing! Not only are the prices competitive on the work his company does but I have found the quotes from his subs to be equally as competitive.

Chuck was very helpful with his suggestions and explaining questions. The price was right for replacing the roof and the decking. A lot of the decking needed to be replaced as there was a ventilation problem. They did an excellent job of cleaning up. We were very happy with the roofing job that they did. The work was done during the rainy period last summer. Two crews were assigned to make sure the job was done in 1 day.

The owner is a great guy. Was very friendly and seem like an honest family man trying to provide a service for an honest dollar. I'm very satisfied with the quality of craftsmanship the company provided. The workers really know what they're doing. Also they cleaned up the job site exceptionally well.

The entire process was smooth. Most importantly I was always informed of what and when to expect the next step. When questions came up, I got immediate responses from my sales guy Jeff. He was able to answer my numerous questions and had plenty of thorough information. The installation team arrived promptly, were focused on the job, did quality work and informed of me of things as needed. The clean up was certainly as good or better than anyone could expect, thorough picking up of nails and debris in grass, rocks and bushes. Even cleaned some marks off the siding that I had not noticed.
I know it is not normal for the sales guy to be present during the (entire) work, but Jeff was able to stay on site and DID, that ensured a perfectly pleasing project. The next day I did discover one minor thing that needed attention, the head of the crew came out the following morning and it was done, no problem, no delay. Just what you would like, that s great customer service.

Chuck was great to work with. He is on time and kept me apprised of any changes to the schedule and let me know how work was progressing. The work was done as described in the contract . Chuck Lowe was quick to come to our aid when a tree fell on our fence and home last July 5, 2016. He met with the insurance adjuster, he met with us, and kept us informed every step of the way. He helped with everything with the insurance and the physical work repairing siding and our roof. He insured our roof was secure and protected in case any further bad weather might have occurred before the roof could be fully repaired. The work was done quickly, professionally, and beautifully. He provided us an upgrade since I am a veteran which was a surprise, but a very awesome blessing. My wife and I were so impressed with him that we recommended him to replace the roof on our church. They hired him and were very impressed with him and his work, also!!!! I would recommend him to everyone. His work, prices, professionalism, everything was very much appreciated.
