Home of bbc news and radio, its a cool funky building, and great to see around if you get a chance. People are squished in a bit, be prepared to fight for a desk...

They have started to ask for photo ID to attend shows at Television Centre. Paranoid nonsense that doesn't increase security at all.

I'm less inclined to apply for tickets in the future.

The bar once inside the reception area is pretty bad, it takes too long to be served, they don't have what one wants from the menu (no cider!), and many shows being at around dinner time would require better choices for food rather than the sad sandwiches.

Add the security checks at the entrance (these entirely and understandably necessary) at the visit starts to sound less appealing.

BBC: drop the stupid photographic ID nonsense, it's utterly idiotic this kind of knee jerk reaction to terrorism.

Please professionalise your bar, you could use vending machines for regular items or let a concessionary run it, and why don't you put more tables and chairs?

Impressive headquarters of the once almighty, venerated and unimpeachable news service - an institution.

Interesting place. If you're there between 7-7.30pm you'll see The One Show being broadcast live.

We attended the recording of the Now Show. Hugely funny and free what's not to like.
The bar seems really reasonable price wise.
Only downside is getting tickets as they are very popular.

Great place for some British history and to see where the newsroom is etc.
Security get a bit overexcited with the searches, but understandable...

Good place for a protest, but it's a bit out of site from the public. Protesters can climb onto the roof above the entrance.

Not quite the BBC, rather listen to the outside performance if Captain SKA, listening to She's a Liar Liar, amazing song full of energy and if you like news from the ground up. Grassroot news is not controlled by Government. I am afraid the BBC did not geta giid revirw there as they suppressed this song during election time out of fear being Party political?

Such an amazing feeling to be in front of a building witch broadcasts content you can hear from all over the world. Brilliant.

Amazing experience. Went to the 8th floor and saw the cool hanging microphones too.

Here is the cafe Nero Gadda on the first floor, knowing that the water is bbc. It 's just a big station that comes out when you walk.

Went to the BBC radio theatre. Good bar and snacks and when you are waiting you can watch the news team at work which is Interesting.

If you are in the area around 6pm, you might be lucky to spot quite a number of celebrities....including actors, comedians and variety of live music. Awesome place.

A lot of Radio 4 recordings take place at the BBC studio, and members of the public can apply to be part of the audience. It s really nice to walk into the modern part of the building then be taken into the older part of the studios and its slightly art deco style.

BBC London radio station listened to by many Romanians during the last world war but especially during the communist period!

Iconic building with stunning recent addition. Contemporary architecture at it's best, respecting heritage but providing for contemporary needs.

Nice venue for a professional Meetup in the evening - very spacious room and good AV. Looks lovely on the outside in the evening.

It's the BBC! I have been for many a recording. It's mostly radio shows here but well worth it.

Unfortunately cannot access the building as a member of the public. Used to be able to visit cafe but now stopped due to security concerns.

Since upgrading the building entrance /look ect the roads layout outside wasn't changed

If you haven't yet taken advantage of the free bbc audience tickets while living in London then make sure you do. The venue is interesting and it really makes you feel a part of London and proud to be British if you get to a decent recording.

I was luck enough to attend a recording of the 'Infiinite Monkey Cage' when Stephen Fry attended - what more can you ask for?!

Saw Pam Ayres at the radio theatre. Very good as pretty much all the BBC radio comedy tends to be. Long wait to get in and cafe very limited.

Great overview but I wish I could see more of the actual broadcasting studio.

Watched the news quiz live. Good entertainment. Completely free you just have to laugh in the correct places.

Head offices of the BBC. Radio and news studios. Great decor in and out. Look out for the street art.

Beautiful art deco theatre absolutely chok full of history.

Take a tour if you get the chance. It's a beautiful modern building and everyone I interacted with at the BBC was absolutely fantastic.
