There are three intergaral staff members at this hospital that had made my Dad s stay recently exceptional. The patient advocate, Mark Morrison, is truly caring and goes above and beyond to ensure that the patients needs are met. He is personable and easy to talk to when questions need answered by the family. In the kitchen there is Ted and Joe. Ted oversees the cafeteria and came in to speak with us about the food that is served. We were impressed to hear that the seafood is fresh and chicken is antibiotic free. Joe is the chef in the kitchen and my father absolutely loves his food. When I complimented the kitchen, Joe was kind enough to make a special visit to Dad and bring him a piece of cheesecake and fruit. This small gesture warmed my dad s heart.
On a medical note my Dad s pulmonologist, Dr. Mansour, was exceptional. He really took the time to speak with us and ensure we understood my dad s diagnosis.
Finally, there is a receptionist at the front desk who is just delightful. It was nice to see her each day.
