Bay vista dessert bar is one of my favourite places, it s great and yes I did read some comments and they pretty harsh, coffee at parramatta is at 4.20 every you go I work in parramatta and this is the price I pay for my coffee every morning.

I don't usually write reviews but I was very disappointed by this place! Very poor customer service! The waitress was rude they didn't have half of what was on the menu! I ordered a vegetarian crepe that was simply tasteless! I would not recommend anyone to this place other than for an acceptable coffee!

Overbearing sweetness, but I guess that's what people go there for.

It's perfect this place. Very big servings. I find that U will only need a drink or a meal not both.

They have nice desserts, but mostly over priced for a sitting.
Heck, they even charge $6 extra for public holidays with every purchase.

I understand it's popular but this is soooooo expensive. I mean come on $4.20 for a black coffee??? Clean the screen so I don't get bitter burnt coffee. Then the coffee was spilled all over by the time the waitress brought it to the table so had a saucer of coffee and soggy sugar bags with a nice sticky cup. Why the price?.... little work and....hello.... no milk plus I had to order the food from the counter so table service is minimal - really minimal. Almost $20 for a rather rubbery crepe? The chocolate sauce and fresh strawberries were the best part. I hate coming to this place it's so noisy and service is a non event but it's the sacrifice I make only because it's a must for my daughter that hopefully she will soon outgrow

Bay Vista always has very attentive staff and quick service. The coffee is always good and the best thing about it is that it's right at the beach front, which is great spot to take that special someone! The pancakes are good although their vegan options are very limited if non at all from memory. All in all great coffee place in Brighton Le Sands.

Great food as always, great location, music wasn t blaring which was perfect to still hold a conversation where you re not yelling at each other inches away.

Milkshake was super hot in a cold container. I could make a warm milkshake at home and save the 8 bucks

AMAZING Desserts! Good God I could eat here 24/7 and never ever ever ever get sick of it. The only downside to this place is parking, but otherwise it's definitely worth checking out!

Been twice with family and friends, always loved it! Amazing choice, good quality ingredients with huge portions. Make sure you ll eliminate the high sugar intake afterwards :-)

No wonder it has such a long history. Walking through its multi storeys i saw many happy groups and couples chattering over a delectable and endless selection and combination of dessert options. We ordered an ice cream bucket which when shared between 5 people averaged an affordable $7 each and we couldn't finish it anyway.

I'm love ice cream and always take my friends to Bay Vista, but the cashier when i paid she looks underestimate me, I don't like and i asked her what happens and she said nothing.... thats time make me thinking bad...sorry

Omg. The deserts are so worth. Yummy. I thought the serving would be normal but when it came oh lord barely finish mine.

Taste:
normal, regular, a bit bad... I had with my girlfriend, I request for a cake with melted chocolate inside and icecream, my girlfriend ask for French Riviera icecream. My cake was definitely made with the cheapest Chocolat in the market, terrible sweet, they don't offer us water, the icecream of my girlfriend you can get a better one in Woolworths.

Best place for desserts! Serving sizes are generous and delicious! Huge menu available from sweets to savoury. It gets very busy so be prepared to wait for a table

Tried the banana and fudge crepe, the first bite was okay until I got the the bulk of the crepe which had an inside drowned in chocolate syrup, it was sickeningly sweet making the dessert too rich to finish. I tried some of the fondue for 2 and that was reasonable.The decor score reflects the atmosphere of the place which was energetic, however the music playing was far too loud (almost like a nightclub( for a place that serves coffee, frapes and desserts, if you have several tables for 2-4 people then you can expect people would be conversing.The service was quite good even when the place was full.

The desert is great with big variety. The coffee is horrible. They have no dark chocolate, really! ... The staff is not friendly and the service is just average.

Went out to dinner with a friend tonight and ordered their chicken, bacon and mayo crepe to share however when it came out we realised we had been served the wrong one. This crepe had mushrooms in it which I am allergic to so we flagged down the waitress to let her know. She then brought over her manager who knew about my allergies to mushrooms and still refused to do anything about it. He told us the crepe couldn t be replaced with the one we ordered because the wastage would lose them money and didn t give us any options to try and resolve the issue. In the end, I paid for a meal that I couldn t eat. The customer service at Bay Vista is trash and I strongly recommend NOT eating at this place.

For the first time I can actually stay the food is a bigger serving then the photos!

We had the crepes and although it tasted fine the prices are on the higher side. Previously I tried the frozen yoghurt which was very smooth.

Food and dessert is good though. Music is ridiculously loud to the point where it hurts your ears.

Decoration immediately is worth going, with cups hanging from the ceiling and the walls covered with ice cream and chocolate quotes. I would recommend the large ice cream cups to choose from with various food mixed in. The service is fast and the prices are decent.

This is a nice dessert bar its mostly populated with a younger crowed but is not overly loud and is very cozy. It doesnt do anything amazing but it also doesnt do anything bad its just a nice place to get some dessert late at night... the views are nice also.

Been here twice and it's been great! Absolutely recommend their brownies or ice cream bowls!

Poor costumer service, pay pass wasn't working and staff refused to offer table water when asked. Food is pricey costumer service sucks. Get it right management!

Cheap, quick service and a very popular place in Brighton. The menu is pretty big but a bit disappointing there isn't many dairy-free options. In the end I could only order sorbet and there are only 3 flavours. On top of that I was actually served the ice cream version of one of the flavours I had chosen but after a chat to the waiter he fixed it up quickly and swapped it for the sorbet.

Pancakes were old and falling apart was the worst dessert I've ever had it was drowning in nutella dont know what all the hype is all about its the second time I've been there and the last time

rude and ignorant staff ruined my limited time with my children today.despite spending $51 on desert for myself and 2 children the request for a piece of mud cake take away for my partner was met with a rude waitress questioning my daughter about eating it on sight.when my daughter told her it is explicitly for someone else to take home she still reinforced this point and repeated it gain causing me to go and intervene and defend my daughter. why in God's name would one adult and 2 children spend that amount of money on a ice cream then try to scam a few bucks by getting take away cheaper to eat in ? So rude as well as being ridiculous.then after my complaint the entire time we waited for the cake ALL staff stared, openly pointed and laughed at me and my children.when the cake arrived it was HEATED and melted to a pile of chocolate sauce on the way home.so you say it must be take away but serve it as eat immediately? straight in the bin. if your going to work in hospitality be humble or get a better job.so many waitresses with not enough customers and too much time to gossip and be unprofessional. the strawberry in the ice creams were frozen solid and sour to boot so what you pay and get for the price is not worth it particularly with this hostile and ignorant service.
last time and I've been coming here for 30 years.

What a let down took friends everyone was very disappointed brownies were dry and chocolate topping on ice cream was sickly sent it back twice used to be a great hangout for desert don't think I could go back.

Poor customer service, there were 2 table, with a total of 7 people, 5 staff and no service. The food does not like what is shown in the menu. We waited 1 hour for a cheese and ham sandwich, which was disgusting. Tables and toilets were dirty.

This is a fantastic dessert cafe, a must for the whole family. Opens early and closes late. Great service and delicious goodies with a fantastic view!

SOMETIMES YOU will need to wait to be seated as thy can get very busy.
Negative - they do not do table service; you need to go up and order at the register and get given a table number. Sometimes staff can be a bit rude.

The music is waaaay too loud, you have to lean over the table to hear what your friend is saying, it really kills the vibe... I don t understand why it has to be that loud.

I think this place is majorly overhyped and overpriced. Was a bit of a disappointment and I wouldn t go again... cafe desserts are more interesting and tasty than the desserts here.

A from me! The ice-cream was so yum and great variety. The menu was heaps cool and I m keen to try a variety of things. The drinking water served was not overly cold but drinkable. The staff were friendly enough too. We all enjoyed ourselves.

Quick service however 1 meal was brought out and then 20min later the following 2 dishes were brought to our table leaving the first dish cold. Tables outside were super sticky even after they were wiped down

The line to this place is always out the door, which is a good start (but annoying for us visiting). Pricing is moderate, and the food is delicious. Definitely satisfies my sweet tooth. However, the customer service SUCKS! Last time I went I was placed on a table so cramped, I might as well have been sitting on the lap of the people next to us. And what is the obsession with menus? A group of asked were asked if we were done with our menu 4 times by 4 separate people; let me peruse the menu in piece! Then same thing with our table number while food was coming out. If you're short on menus and table numbers to the extent that you're harassing your customers, maybe you should buy some more?

Very vibrant desert restaurant/bar with a huge selection of sweets and deserts. It's hard to say no to anything on menu when you're here! Must visit if you're in Parramatta and craving for sweets.
