Out for a family Birthday night everything was great.

By far my favorite restaurant in town great service, great food and best of all
good prices

The meal was perfect from start to finish. The portions were more then enough and the service was terrific.

Family owned. Been at same location for years. We been going there for 25+ years . never had bad experience.

Really good. The oysters were a bit small but they were tasty and they were cheap that night. The prime rib was good though a bit under seasoned. I would go back again for sure.

Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff and great food. Prices are in line with similar style restaurants.

No idea this place existed. Will be back, frequently. Absolutely perfect meal.

Terrible services. They took a long time to take our order and then the food took quite a bit too. Food was pretty decent, but the waitress started taking peoples plates when most of us were still eating and my boyfriend had just finished his ribs and the waitress took the plate right out from under him as he was still chewing and he had almost all of his vegetables left that he was going to eat on the same plate.

Great food always. Sometimes can be prone to silly mistakes but it makes the whole "family owned and run" experience all the more charming.

Best steak in the city! And tou won't find better service or a more welcoming atmosphere.

Probably the best atmosphere in abbotsford. And oldie but a goodie. Stood the test of time.

We've been there about 6 times and each visit was an excellent experience. All food was fantastic and the drinks are a good price.
Service has always been Top knots. We'll be back soon. Keep it up.

Exceptional food & service every time! Our 'go to' for date night.

It was just OK. My filete mignon was hard as a rock. They over cooked it. Brought me another one rare but even though it was tough. Two plates of prime rib where ordered with the lobster and they too where tough, like rubber. What a disappointment!!!

What a lovely steak house. So quiet and romantic. Great ambience, and even better food. Would rather go here than the Keg any day of the week. Steak and lobster was divine.

Food is very tasty. Didnt like that I could hear everything from the table across from us. The place is very noisy. Prices are reasonable. Our table was wobbly, couldnt put our elbows on it. The bathroom is very small and old, but it is an old building. I didnt see any way for a wheelchair to get upstairs.

Food was good, decor was good, service was good. Musical choice was.. interesting switching from pop to country at times.

Walked in and the place was packed. I had high hopes for this place but the baby back ribs were disappointing. Tasted old and rather stale. The goulash was half empty and was liquid only. Garlic mashed and veggies were good. Will give it one more try and stick with Bavarian items.

As a starter there was a great goulash soup. The beef fillet is recommended

First time going and I cannot wait to come back. Came in with a group and the service was great! Food was phenomenal, I can't wait to go back and try some more dishes.

Excellent food. Fast and friendly service (from Danni). Good portion sizes. Great selection of menu items. We will be back!

Wouldn't understand why anyone would rate this restaurant less than 5 stars! Every time I go I get amazing service and great drinks. the menu has various options for great prices, and has a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Really good food and cocktails . Atmosphere is also nice especially the lounge area.

I ordered the cordon blue and it was tasty but the ham and cheese were on the outside (lazy version). Prices are a bit steep.

One of the best places in town for steak, always done perfectly and the service is fantastic. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and we have never left unhappy

I've been here many times for dinner. Nice small place to go with your date or friends and they have got some new staff which is much better than the old. I would defiently go again

Best restaurant we have been to - seafood was so fresh and delicious! Great service- very friendly and welcoming - will definitely go back the next time we are in Abbotsford!

tasty food but very overpriced for what you get--had the posted daily special bass dinner and was charged regular price--dessert although tasty, was a miniscule sliver of chocolate cake overpriced--exceptionally long,very steep stairs to get into the restaurant-seniors and anyone with knee or back problems beware! Waitresses were friendly and efficient-atmosphere was comfy and cosy but rather cramped quarters at the table--washroom basic but very dated.

I am german and I am from Bavaria. So when I saw the menu I was a bit disappointed.
Bascially it consist of variations of Schnitzel. The only other thing that I saw on the menu I think was Bratwurst with Sauerkraut.

Things i would have expected was at least some kind of german roast with dumplings and maybe a german potato salad. When I asked if they have a "Radler" I got "no" for an answer.

The rest of the menu is basically stuff you get in every other Canadian restaurant/Stakehous. It would have been nice to have less Schnitzel variants and more different kind of german dishes. For those who do not want to have a german dish the rest of the menu is ok.

Service also wasn't really fast. Refill of the coffee took long, we waited long for our food ...

A couple of positive things. It looked like a restaurant and not like "german Disney world". In other words not everything that is remotely german was stuffed in there like in so many other places I saw outside of germany. It is actually a really nice restaurant.

The food also was really good. We enjoyed it a lot. So good job there.

Me and my family went there and me,my dad and my mom got the steak so we got the same thing and it was delicious and my sister and brother got food as well and they thought it was delicious too

The food and service was very, very good. All 5 of us had the schnitzel which came with a small bowl of goulash and warm bread. The portions were more than adequate even for those with large appetites.The lighting in the restaurant could have been a little brighter as I had to go get my reading glasses too read the menu. We all left feeling very full and totally satisfied just what you want when dining out!

Fabulous meal tonight with my family. Hadn t been in years and man have we missed out. Incredible how the quality of the food amd the service is over the big brands. Can t say enough! We will be back. Thank you!

Yet another wonderful meal and great celebration at the Bavaria House, the best restaurant in Abbotsford and the ultimate cure for places like the Keg. You always feel like part of the family is this wonderful place! Great food, great hosts, great service and great prices. We never go anywhere else! Thanks guys.

We go to the Bavaria almost weekly, the service and food is never short of amazing. I highly recommend this place!

The food was amazing but the service was better. The tiramisu was as good as it looks!

A really good old school taste of Europe G find. Walked in the door and escaped to another space. Feel and food is terrific

Amazing service, food, and atmosphere. The food presentation and quality was excellent from the appetizers through to the main course and the desert. Menu is great with a substantive amount of possible choices.

We were here several years ago and our impression was that at that time the restaurant was average. It is amazing what a fresh facelift, a new menu, and what appears to be a very good crew of happy staff can do to seperate you from all the rest.

Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Great meals and lots of variety to chose from. Go hungry as servings are plentiful.
Only 1 downfall..no elevator and lots of stairs to climb to get to the restaurant.
