I was having a panic attack and just needed someone to talk to and other callers were more important.

My girlfriend called the Mental Health Hotline and told the girl on the phone that she was feeling suicidal and having depressing thoughts. All the girl asked her was if she lived with other people, to which my girlfriend responded with "yes". Then the Hotline person told her talk to them and hung up. HOW THE HELL DO YOU DO THAT TO A PERSON THATS SUICIDAL

If you are having a crisis, call Crisis Services, but be wary of the information you provide them, and be wary of letting an evaluation team in your home. Try your very best to be certain of what you need and what the boundaries of your situation are. Crisis Services are exclusively contracted with Erie County Medical Center/CPEP to receive cases CS determines at-risk, and by inviting them into your home you give up the power to make that decision for you. If you can avoid it, please don't do that.

They are all very caring and helpful. I adore my counselor and look forward to our meetings. They have a 24 hour hotline and a texting service to help in between appointments as well.

It's really a political mess. The people that get paid there are all part of the politics of the Republican Party and they don't give a s*** about us

This is a complete joke. I have never been more disappointed in my entire life. Every time I call you people for help no one gets back to me period on June 14th my phone was disconnected and I was not able to call. Long story short I ended up in the hospital for two whole weeks and missed so much work I can't even pay my rent for July. You people are horrible at your jobs. I would rather get Crisis Prevention help from people at McDonald's on Grider. Any suicides or domestic violence in Buffalo New York or the result of your failure. Matter of fact, my counselor even reach out to you guys at 2 p.m. to call me back because I was going through an emergency it is now 3:03 and no one has called me. I will spend everyday till I die letting people know how horrible this service is.

Had them called on my mother because she received the wrong medication. They are currently assisting a mentally ill aunt make my life hell Have no useful suggestions ignorant and rude. My mother is under the care if her primary to recover from a medication reaction. I hope they help someone because they haven't helped me. And I will never work with them privately or professionally Thanks crisis services!

I've been feeling depressed lately and I've called Crisis services and the workers need to be trained properly to take these calls. Some are good and others are of no help. They barely speak loud enough and most of the time they have no answers or suggestions to help someone in a crisis to feel better. Luckily I am under the care of a Psychiatrist who has me under medication and I'm finally feeling so much better and I am grateful.

Not the best location. Understaffed and overworked. The staff are professional and courteous.

They will destroy your life as well as those you love. They are "not properly trained, out right lie to you, and are lazy.
Without meeting with you they will call police who jumped me without a word while I was walking my dog all because somebody at " crisis services" lied, never never met the lady or seen her.

The staff here is Very bad i asked them for help with my son an 3 ppl came to my home an my son played them he acted like he was ok than when they left my son flipped out on me an broke my door they left broke my door mental illness is nothing to play with i have the best son in the world but mental health mixed with voices is dangerous smh i love my son never give up on ppl with mental illness they don t mean it they didn t ask for the sickness an if it runs in the family it could of been you

Forced me to cpep. Was locked up for 3 days with 32 other colorful personalities in one room. Ppl were sleeping on the floor, waiting to be evaluated. No clean water to bathe, freezing temps. I lied just to get out and haven't received the help I need.

not good, seems like nothing more than a not so complicated scheme to bill your insurance. the woman from something called outreach laughed at me when I was having a meltdown. if you want to kys they may provide you with the inspiration. Edit - it looks like Crisis Services responds to people on Google from time to time, so nice that someone who is busy stopping you from dying by your own hands or just harming yourself also takes the time out to ensure that comments "on the internet" are responded to.

"Crisis services" is not honest about who they work with or why they're available. They work with the police and if you tell them you're suicidal they will sicc the police on you. Know that before you call.

Was having a breakdown at 4am last week and the woman really helped me. I was having a wig out about how i needed to call off work along with suicidal stuff and she helped me calm down and i was able to call off for the rest that I needed.
