Despite the lifetime product guarantee, the experience of trying to arrange and receive the replacement has been painful. It has taken 2.5 weeks from first contact to delivery. The delivery itself has been the worst part of the whole experience. They use DHL, who although texted me 2 days before to inform me of their 4-hour delivery slot, turned up 2.5 hrs late. Not only did they not apologise, when I asked them what happened because they were so late (and hadn't even bothered to keep me updated), the driver's response was, "and? what do you want?" He then tried to make out he'd phoned me earlier, when there were no missed calls. Absolutely shocking level of service; alas typical of large enterprises who have gotten too big for their boots!

The Bathstore Customer service is a JOKE! They couldn't care less about you or your order.
We had every single problem you can imagine, and they never even tried to sort it out!

They sold an item they didn't have in stock. We waited 1 month for delivery. I had a builder on site to do the works and we still have not received the basin unit. We are still waiting for refunds, etc...

I lost count of how many times i had to call and send emails and they NEVER reply to my messages. Extremely unprofessional!

Paid deposit on two bathrooms, contractor came out gave cost of installation. Went back to store, no longer presented with itemised breakdown. Original invoice plus installation did not add up. Had jumped up exactly a extra 2k on top of cost and installation. Refused to give us a breakdown. Took our refunded deposit and went else where. Could have seen this coming having dealt with their staff.

- I ordered items in store that were not in stock but they did take my money before telling me that 5 days later. I paid by credit card but was told that the refund would be up to 45 days and by cheque.
- Bad customer service - the manager kept promising to put Bath Store's mistakes right. However, that promised disappeared as soon as I left the store. I had to keep chasing him.
- They kept trying to sell me more expensive items that wouldn't fit my bathroom even through they had the correct measurements of it.
- Lots of missed deliveries dates (didn't even get told that they wouldn't be turning up - I had to chase everytime to find this out)
- When the delivery was made there were missing and broken items.

The customer service is appalling at the Bath Store with the store blaming their customer services and vis-vera. You end up paying a lot of money to them to end up play pigging in the middle.

Why didn't I read these reviews first. They are all over before you pay but once they have your money it all changes. Missed delivery dates, selling items that they don't have in stock and this they know at the time.

The manager did seem to give a toss and would not answer my calls which meant I had to go to the store every time. When I got there he would tell me that he 'was about to ring me!'
