Basil ford purchased the old bowling alley to expand there used car sales. The army recruiting office was located in the building. I was an Army recruiter working out of the building. The Army rented another office and it needed to be remodeled. (New Army recruiting office is at 3900 Union Rd Cheektowaga NY) There were several construction delays. Which caused a delay in moving out of building. Basil Ford was extremely understanding. They even remodeled building around our office. Didn't get mad at me when I set off the security alarm lol. We finally moved out and Basil completed the remodal. My experience working with them was good. I plan to visit them for my next vehicle purchase. The keep parking those shinny new trucks by the road tempting me to stop and buy. I will soon and know they will treat me right as they have previously demonstrated.

Damon told me that he could get me into the new F150 that I wanted the same day if the price was right and he managed to do it. Been dealing with Basil Ford for many years now and they have never let me down. Keep up the good work.

The whole experience was wonderful. This was my first time getting a car and James Galioto was very helpful. He really worked with me and helped me get what I wanted in a car. Don Brownell was also a huge help. Both were great and I highly recommend them!

That s my original review below. I just had to speak on t great generic comment about miscommunication and forwarding to management. It was not a miscommunication. I was flat out told false information to lure me in. The intent was pretty clear that I was expected to just go with the flow since I was there already assuming I was desperate to sell. Lucky for me I m not desperate to sell. The only loss I took was vacation time at work. It was a slimy tactic and poor excuses why they could not honor what they told me on the phone. In fact one thing I found out was a flat out lie. I found out today for liability reasons they cannot sell a vehicle that does not have the original tire size on it. Thinking back, I was asked on the phone if I still had the original tires. Now I know why. Yet I was told when I got there, quote: I would have to put larger rims and tires on it because that s what guys in the market for a Jeep want .

Don t trust what they tell you on the phone. When you go in it s a different story! I had done the kbb offer on my vehicle. Received a call minutes later. The offer was less but not much less than what I wanted. I explained what I wanted to get for the vehicle and they said as long as it was in good shape (which it is flawless) they see no reason why they wouldn t be able to meet my price. I took the day off, made my appointment and went in. They offered me less than the original offer from kbb! I won t name names but I told the salesman that made the low offer to tell the person that called me thanks for wasting my time. He had the nerve to say well he doesn t know about or saw the vehicle . Really? Why is he giving numbers over the phone then?? He told me I would get what I want if it was in good shape. Well, not a scratch on it. Literally showroom ready. I got BS excuses about how they would have to upgrade the rims and tires from stock. The stock rims, though in perfect condition, aren t what buyers are looking for. How it s hard to sell with manual windows. That was all explained and part of the original discussion/quote. There is nothing wrong whatsoever with the vehicle . It even has upgrades. Only 8200 miles. I had a feeling it was the typical slimy dealer treatment but figured I d give it a shot. Should ve went with my gut and kept my vacation time at work. Typical bait and switch...

If i could give no stars I would. My car stopped running on a Thursday, was told i should have it back on Monday which I understood as I didn't have an appointment. Didn't even receive a call from basil Ford until Tuesday evening. I was consistently lied to and told I would need 3 more repairs than were necessary, Im assuming because I'm a female who they assume knows nothing but funny how when they spoke with my father they told him I only needed one item replaced...how ironic. After talking with MULTIPLE service advisors I was still never given a set time for when to expect my car back. It was always a hassle to get in contact with my assigned service advisor who I would leave messages for to call during specific times and then ironically would call during the windows i SPECIFICALLY told him NOT to call. After a full week and a day I finally got my car back. Overall worst experience I've ever had with a car workshop. I would recommend NEVER going here, even if it means spending more money getting your car towed somewhere else.

This place is absolutely ridiculous. We brought a vehicle at 840am. When we had our appointment time was told it would be ready by afternoon close to 2 I have been calling and at 230 they said they are just getting the vehicle. Absolutely ridiculous!!! I will NEVER return to this place. And to top it off I waited 2 hours for a shuttle that never came I had to arrange my own ride after 2 ours of waiting.

Made an appointment to look at a truck . Went there to see it only to find out it was sold the day before. Would of been nice to get some sort of notice before hand. The salesman didn't seem to want to sell anything.

I just picked up my 3rd leased vehicle from Basil Ford. Everyone here is friendly and knowledgeable. Mike Worthington has been great at getting us into the vehicle we want at a payment we can afford. We ll keep going back to Basil for their fantastic customer service. I highly recommend them.

The staff here is all Very Friendly and Courteous. Very Comfortable Customer Waiting Room. However I was disappointed that you only receive 1 free oil change for purchasing your vehicle from them when I saw signs at Basil Resale for Free Oil Changes for as long as you own the car you purchase. Also disappointed that they do not rotate tires along with the oil change. Monro, Midas, Firestone all include a Free Tire Rotation with Oil Change.

I had such a hard time finding what I wanted within the price I wanted until I went to Basil and met with Josh Tojek. He helped me find a great vehicle and the process was painless. I'd recommend everyone to Basil. I am happy with my vehicle and glad I went there!

Make sure you don't work with Mike King. I was pushed into services I didn't want and was almost charge for services done in error. I had to call the general manager to not get gouged by this guy.

Very dissatisfied with that service representative. I do like how the situation was rectified by the managerial staff but I was required to finish my needed services at another Ford location. Basil Ford seems like a good place to avoid for those curious.

The oil change took a while and I watched as the mechanic threw my plastic covers to the ground, breaking on of the brackets. Also, I was cashing out and noticed on the sheet from the mechanic it said oil leak main. So I asked the service representative if there was/is an oil leak. He said he was unaware and had to call the mechanic. He then said that it should be looked over at their main garage and that I should make an appointment. This agitated me because if I hadn t seen on the sheet it said oil leak I wouldn t have known about it and it could have formed into a larger problem.

Called and asked if I could get a state inspection while I waited. I was told come right in and we can do it right away. Showed up and was told a 1/2 wait before they could start on it. Took them a total of 2 hours to perform a state inspection that needed no repairs to pass. My time is valuable too! VERY frustrating!

It was an exciting day for my wife Suzann and I while picking out a new vehicle for her. We opted to lease a 2019 Explorer. Upon arriving we were greeted by Don Brownell and Earl White at Basil Ford on Walden Avenue. Earl worked closely with us to make sure we found the right vehicle while also keeping our budget in mind.We had a very good experience with our purchase. We will be returning here for future vehicles. We highly recommend Basil Ford.

Everything was done in a very professional manner. Andrew Kern was great. I have a small complaint. A small hub cap is missing from my Jeep after work was done on the wheels and brakes. I left messages with Andrew but I haven't heard back from him yet

My experience with Basil Ford was outstanding. Jeremy was sensational! I traded my beloved Cadillac V Coupe for a Mars red Mercedes 550 SL. They delivered the SL right to my business in Pittsburgh PA. The SL was flawless as was my V. I highly reccomend Basil Ford and Jeremy!

Went in for an inspection yesterday & I was taken care of by Andrew. He explained that it would take about an hour & that was ok. I waited in the waiting lounge. My girlfriend who was with me noticed that on the board they showed my car to be done an hour later than what I was initially told. I then went to the desk to find out what was going on & was told that they were a little behind, but would try to get done ASAP. I had ice cream in the trunk & didn't want it to be a shake by the end of my visit so Andrew offered to put it in their freezer until the car was finished. I am very thankful for that! Basil employees are very thoughtful & great people! Always love going there!!

I ended up buying a new Explorer xlt and couldn't be happier, 5 star at least with him, thanks Mike

Final advice for this dealership is be very wary of this dealership and all reviews. Also look at yelp reviews to see customers with same horrible customer service I received. I was told a dent was fixed from my car and when I went to pick it up the dent was not fixed. The sales manager also tried to bribe me with two hundred dollars. His words to me were show me a good review and I will cut you a check for 200 dollars. Doesn't seem like a very trustworthy business to me and isn't that what you look for when purchasing a car. Emailed below email address and email address is not valid?

Visited Basil Ford on Walden Ave. for a couple of minor warranty issues and to grab some items from the parts counter. Service and the parts department were great. You can tell that the parts counter must do some business as there were 3-4 guys on the phone with what I would expect were other dealers, indy shops, customers, etc. It was a very convenient and a pleasant experience having the right parts, available upon walk-in, good prices and nice, knowledgeable and FRIENDLY parts folks.

I bought a 1 year old used truck from them 3 months ago. Price and trade in value were great but I was told two dents would be removed and they have ignored me ever since. Sales guy and dent guy both won t return my calls. Also, I paid $550 for a spray in bed liner that is pealing. It s the same price I d pay for rhino to do it but half as thick and the bed wasn t prepped right. There is shiny paint under the liner that came off. Never pay this dealer for a spray in bed liner

Dave Bova in service handled my issue very professionally and he has done the same in past service appointments as well. Dave is the reasons I continue to bring my vehicles to Basil, I live very close to West Herr in Amherst which would be easier for me.

I took my Ford 150 multiple times to Towne (where it was purchased ) and advised them of an issue with my 4 wheel drive. They kept advising me nothing was wrong. Towne had my truck 3 different occasions for mutliples days at a time. I became incredibly fed up with them and decided to try my luck at Basil. Basil detected and fixed the problem within ONE day!!! Customer service was great and communication was excellent. I know who I will be going to for future purchases, and recommending to friends and family moving forward, BASIL! Thank you.
