I had a great experience with Basil & the service department recently.
I purchased a Chevy Equinox from them about a year & a half ago. The rear mail seal went on the SUV. I brought it into the service department & received a call that the job was not going to be covered. This was a $2,500+ job that needed to be completed.
When I bought the car I purchased the Diamond Plan Warranty. I still had my brochure & original contract for the warranty. I found the part on the brochure but I had but found out the category it is under was an "exclusion" on the contract.
So now, the warranty company is saying they will not cover the work & it was not their fault the brochure does not match the contract. I met with Jason, the service department manager, by the end of our meeting he agreed that this should be covered under my warranty. He went to bat for me and was determined to set this right.
Well, after a few days, he calls me to tell me the job will be covered 100%! It eventually had to get Chuck Basil involved due to the issue with the warranty company.
I am very grateful for the dedication & lengths Jason went to make sure I was not being cheated by the warranty company. He showed great customer service and proved why I buy all of my cars through them. I also appreciate the support of the owner in the situation and standing their ground.

When our RV broke down while on a 10 day family road trip, the folks at Basil Ford were tremendously helpful. They got our RV in that same afternoon, found the problem, and has us back on the road by 8:00 the next morning. We thought the problem was much worse than it was, but they were very honest, and the cost of the repair was less than the cost of the take-out dinner we had at the hotel that night. I had a recall that needed to be done on my car. I chose to go to West Herr Ford. Due to family reasons I chose not to go to West Herr Ford and chose to go to Basil. I explained the situation to the gentleman at Basel and told him that my parts are actually at West Herr. The gentleman at the service desk says that they are their competitor they're going to have to order a new parts. A month-and-a-half later I still haven't heard word from basil, so I called them and a young lady transferred me to the service department and the phone rang and rang and rang no one ever picked up. I figured they were too busy they did they wouldn't be able to do my car so I chose not to go to Basil. I choose not to go to Basel anymore due to that fact they can't handle their counter desk at service. If they don't answer the phone how can you be in business! I chose to go to delacy Ford! Delacy Ford was one of the worst places for me to take my car I will never do business there again! I will now be going back to West Herr Ford for now on for everything!
Andrew K, who always seems to get stuck helping me when I get my car serviced, explained various maintenance services to me, and why they would be helpful. He gave me options on what I needed done and what could wait.... they gave me a loaner so my Saturday wasn't wasted and washed my car before returning it to me.
They were great! Up front and no hassle! Show room was very clean as well. Very nice sales experience from start to finish.

This was my first purchase from Basil and I was pleased with the experience. The salesman, Frank, and Finance Manager, Don were very helpful with no pressure to get anything I didn't want or need. And the price was right.
Oil change, tire rotation, car inspection and stain removal from my very light colored leather seats! Aaron was my customer service rep. He was excellent and beyond helpful!! In addition to my routine maintenance, he got the stains off of my seat and vacuumed the inside. I had an excellent customer service experience at Basil Ford service area!! I ve been coming there for years and will continue to do so.

Although everyone was helpful and pleasant, I was a tad bit disappointed that the tech didn't notice the "brake light out" warning alert that appeared on the dash when he started the car. I forgot to mention it and it was therefore not repaired, so off for another service appointment I go.
I brought my car in because the low tire pressure light came on. I had to be at my training class at 8.15 am and the staff went above and beyond and out of their way to make sure I got there on time. They were absolutely amazing!!!!
Went in for NYS inspection. They told me I had a transmission leak and a right front axle leak in addition to needing front brakes.
I went to a trusted mechanic who restored my grandfather's car for a second opinion. No such problems found whatsoever. They took everything apart and took me back into the shop to show me what they were seeing (nothing).
This is not the first time I've had problems with the service department since I bought my car in 2016. I have given them more chances than they should have ever received.
Save your money and always, always question reports. Save everything (receipts, reports etc).

Brought my car in for service, luckily I had an extended warranty. Was told the part I needed was on back order and wouldn t be available for over a month. Would not help me with a loner or rental car even though my extended warranty provides me with one. Also told me that if I wanted to expedite shipping from another dealership in Washington for the part I needed I would have to pay for it out of pocket
Mike and Anthony were amazing. I came in knowing what I wanted and I got exactly that. I'm extremely happy with my new truck and with the service I received. Purchased a vehicle a year ago that I'm still making payments on. First I was told it was 4 wheel drive and didn't realize any different til I was driving it home an hour and a half away. Shortly after having it I noticed little bubbles on my hood. Needless to say at this point I have rust spots on the doors and rust coming all over the hood because they tried to cover it with paint and it all bubbled up and is now turning to rust! I still have years to pay on this vehicle and I get stuck with a rust bucket. If you buy from this place make sure you go through the vehicle inside and out with a fine tooth comb or you will get screwed over like I am for $15,000.
I had many mechanical issues with my car that I had bought only 14 months prior, that I had bought a warranty for. Initially, the warranty company denied my claim and I would ve been stuck with a hefty bill. Basil s service manager Dave really fought for me and what was right by me and ended up getting all the work covered for which ended up being 6,000 dollars. I ve bought 3 cars from them, but this time around I m very impressed with them and trust them with not only my car but my best interest. Props to Basil for sticking up for their customers and helping me out when I really needed it. I couldn t be happier and will always buy cars from them.

The young man who came right out to help me was a doll. He gave me an approx time for work - 1-1/2 hrs. However it was more like 45 mins or less! Very informative about alerting me about dirty air filter so I gave the ok.

Outstanding service! Truck was ready when they said it would be.
They fit me in for an emergency as my brand new cars (purchased elsewhere less than 2 weeks before and now regretting not buying it from Basil!) windshield washer fluid wasn t coming out. Turns out the lines somehow were frozen, they flushed it and I was on my way! The staff was extremely friendly and took care of me! Next car will be purchased here!!

I brought my truck in this morning at 10:15am I was told it would be a little bit but not too long they d try to get me in and out quickly. I stuck around and expecting about an hour to an hour and a half wait. After that time passed, I looked out and saw my truck just sitting on the side of the garage. I watched as car after car which came after me was brought in and serviced. My truck sat there still. Around this same time the service Rep came out and said sorry for the wait it shouldn t be much longer. Finally my truck gets pulled in not too long after and I was out by 1pm. My service was great and the service Rep was great but it was a little upsetting to see my truck get skipped for service. All I was getting was an oil change, quick recall fix and inspection so I m not sure how this happened.

We were happy with our experience with Basil Ford service department. They took care of our vehicle quickly and do a nice job. They notified me of all the repairs that were needed and approximately how long it would take to finish it. The cost was a bit expensive, but to be expected when having the dealer make the repairs.

This place is a rip off they take the discount from the new car and add it to your trade so you think you're getting a reasonable trade but really they're taking away from the price of your new car not very good I could see right through their business strategy
