Everything was amazing, the drinks, the food the dessert and the service. Will definitely go again!

The vibe is amazing! The food is spectacular! Can't ever complain about this place!

How do you spell "Barton G"? L-O-V-E!! I couldn't believe that my best girlfriend did not invite me here sooner....wait, she did. For her birthday...and as such, I FLAKED out. Soooo, I had to make up for it. She gave me her availability and here we are, like two love birds at a dinner, both with phones in our hands...wait! No! We had menus in hand and looked over the cocktail section.

What stood out was the Buddhalicious (Pear infused Vodka, lychee and cranberry juice with a nitrogenized pop of pear vodka) this restaurant literally goes out on their presentation! LIKE HUGE!) and my friend order the Sabrinitini (Signature Martini with orange vodka & watermelon liqueur, adorned with a nitro-champagne swizzle stick and a chocolate monkey).

We started with:

LAUGHING BIRD POPCORN SHRIMP (Crispy laughing bird shrimp, old bay spiced popcorn, Sriracha aioli and sweet chile sesame dipping sauces) which came in a popcorn machine and with, guess what?!! POPCORN!!!

LOBSTER TRAP TRUFFLE MAC N CHEESE
Maine lobster and pasta spirals in a three cheese lobster sauce, but unlike the other tables besides us, we had 5 pieces of lobster! Yummmmmm!!!

8OZANGUS FILET MIGNON
Char broiled steak, black pepper bordelaise, and herbed bone marrow butter (a little but disappointed because I actually LOVE BONE MARROW! Urghhhh! But delicious nonetheless.

And for our dessert, here's what we got! Very rich in flavor and the presentation of it was just phenomenal-

DOLLA DOLLA BILLS Y'ALL!!!!
MEGA RICH (and they mean it) chocolate ganache tart with dulce de leche and soft meringue, under a gold brick shell. Graham cracker crust, chocolate -feuilletine golden nuggets and the server will torch the meringue to soften it up.

I can't wait to just go for the interior. I saw a Marie Antoinette Cotton Candy head pass me by...but my friend said it was too much! If you're coming here, be prepared for some fun and exciting new way of eating your dinner. Make it a girls night because being on a date will only make you full and not want to go back to their place...if that's what you're looking for. Other than that, make a reservation for three (I'll be a third wheel on that date just to experience the other cocktails).

Wow that was one of the most worst experiences that I have ever had. I can t even bring myself to give them 1 star. First off there is no room in there for a very packed place they should have more spacious seating it was very uncomfortable and claustrophobic even more since there was no windows for air movement of any sort. Secondly the food is not as great as it s hyped up to be. It s either very bland or salty it wasn t enjoyable. Lastly the worst part was the service. I had anxiety from how much they were ambushing us. Yes it was nice of them to check up to see how our food was but it wasn t only that they were constantly coming up to us I could say every 5-6 minutes asking to take away our plates while my plate and everyone else plates were full. At the end three people were still working on our plates and they brought the dessert menu. I think that s very rude and inconsiderate. The whole night my family and I felt very rushed. When they brought the check the tip was added in which we felt forced to pay we didn t have a choice and it wasn t a small tip. For being seven people we were seated on a very small table which didn t fit our plates. For being a restaurant that it s specialty is having extravagant displays and large plates to show case them their tables very small. I don t recommend dinning here.

The best steak I've ever eaten. The mac n cheese is adorable the way they serve it in this little trap thingy it's kinda cool. Popcorn chicken in a popcorn machine is super cool also. A fun choice for a birthday or celebration. Great drink choices also

Good spot for quality meals. the service was very friendly and kind. this place has many reviews for a reason.

It was an ok experience. Something you should try once, but not twice. They take away the props as soon as you take the last bite of your meal. The ambiance is ok as well. I would suggest trying it at least once.

We had a reservation, and were seated after 45 minutes of waiting in really crowded and warm front desk. Food was well prepared and delicious.

This place is packed every day! I was there Sunday 5:30 as soon as they opened. They have valet right up against the entrance available. The dishes are entertaining, the bar is hard liquor only (no beer), staff is very knowledgeable.

I was so excited to come here, but were they set us was so horrible the tables were too close together, and then you had the waiters squeezing through the tables while you're trying to eat knocking things off the table by accident, very uncomfortable experience I spent so much money and didn't enjoy it.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, the voodoo shrimp are to die for as is the lobster mac and cheese

We had a magnificent time. The General Manager "Horst" was very attentive and absolutely made our night. The T-Bone steak served on a lawn mower was almost the quality of A-5 Kobe beef. Go to this place, you won't regret it!!! Really good!

Over rated, over priced; service not commensurate to the prices, too cramped for comfort, cute specialty items, but more space and on the spot service would be great

I sat for 2 hours waiting to partake of the glorious menu only to be served popcorn while watching everyone around me get their food and be avoided by the staff.. the food i saw looked good but i wont be going back to taste it. I cancelled my food and left.

The wait wasn t that long! The food is very amazing! The server, Dylan, was super nice! But, I suggest you to go to this place. It has amazing service.

Barton G is an unique dining experience. The atmosphere is just a typical nice restaurant with dynamic individuals dining. The entire restaurant is kind if small and it can be somewhere challenging maneuvering around the establishment More

Had our company dinner this year here.. Every year trying to out-do myself with the office. IT WORKED no one else has this experience and for us, it was a first.. And 1st place in 12 years doing company dinners. The food is incredible and desserts are phenomenal. Drink every type of cocktail cause it is all a wonderful feast experience.

Awesome, if u didn't enjoy this resturant it is either because you cant afford it & because you cannot afford it your expectations are ridiculous, The food is worth the pay & hype, the ambience is also great and the food presentation is mind blowing & whimsical!

Described as contemporary California cuisine ~ you usually won't catch me at swanky restaurants unless I'm celebrating a special occasion ~ but I came here on a very sweet exception, for work. We had a partner fly out from AZ to participate in a trade show with us, so we wanted to treat her out, and I think we chose the perfect place.

Absolutely incredible experience. Worth the trip and the large impact on your wallet. Such a unique experience with quality to back it up. Delicious. All of it.

Original flavors, kind waiters and too fast service. We booked months before and they let us sit in the main room.

I went to this place to celebrate my birthday. I had a wonderful time, the food was delicious and so unique.

Over rated expensive only because of location and presentation, food is ok not great definitely not five star menu, quality or taste , sat us next to servers station. Spent 1,800 for 8 people 110 per person pre set food menu , so guess five rounds of alcohol = over 500 $$ left feeling we could have, Cooked out own meal with better flavors.

My bestie took me here for my birthday dinner on a Saturday night. The food was DELICIOUS!!! But it s so damn small in here that it doesn t make any sense. I know this restaurant could certainly afford rent at a much bigger location yet they chose here. The portions of food are on the smaller side but that s okay since the reason you really came was for desert. I would come back again but only with a party of 3 or more. And I m still mad that it was soooo tiny. The Sabrinatini was super yummy!

Great food just over priced you pay for the experience

Interesting place to visit once. The idea of this restaurant is to serve food that is presented in a visually appealing, gimmicky way. It's like going to benihana. Place is fun and a bit of the "trendy" crowd. It is rather pricey and the food is okay. As mentioned before, once you have experienced it, it's not one of those places where you would frequent often. Good for birthdays or groups, but not for dates.

If you want a presentation show with your food come here you'll be amazed!! The lobster poptart was so yummy! Truffle lobster mac n cheese omg!!! My sword fish wa cooked to perfection. The food was good they are very pricey I will add!!

I have had multiple friends tell me that La Pergoletta is one of their favorite places in Los Feliz. I finally tried it for lunch today! Rather than getting the lunch special we opted for the sandwiches on the deli side. The wait staff was all very friendly, and while the service wasn't the fastest, the food more than made up for it! Excited to go back again and try the pastas!

Wasn't really impressed. The food is good, but you're paying for the show-y displays and that doesn't make the food better. I don't feel I will ever go back. Just one of those things to go to say I've been there.

Why do you stuff a party of 5 people at 1 table...none of our food fit. And everyone was crammed together. Instead of giving gus 2 tables put together they shoved us in a corner. No elbow room to even eat properly. Food took 1 hour plus to come out even after we had ordered drinks. The food is great. Everything else needs touch up.

My family came for my birthday celebration. My kids have come several times and loves it. The food was great and the food presentations were whimsical. The wait staff was friendly and catered to our every need. Definitely a 5 star birthday!

The special with white meat and plantains and onions is darn near as close to heaven as you can get. The waiters have never been nice or courteous but that is part of the charm. Great Cuban food. They are still mad they voted in Bernie I mean Castro. Hahaha

Great experience great service bit pricey but definitely a good time

Love this place. Wish it was a little less crowded (seating is quite densely packed). Having said that, the food tastes great and the presentations are out of this world. Phenomenal experience!

Trying to park around here sucks, didn't want to pay for valet. Had a reservation, arrived a little late but still seated right away. It is crowded in there. The presentation is really nice, I suppose, but I don't care too much for that. The food is good, but the props they come in are huge. For two people, we ordered two appetizers and an entree to share. It took up so much room on the tiny two person table, that we almost had to move the drinks off to make room. I suppose if you are into the displays, props, and presentation, it can be quite a good experience.

Small restraunt but adventurous drinks and cuisine makes for a cool evening.

How can I explain my time at Barton B??? Engaging, amusing, fantastical!!! This restaurant is fun and reminds me of my childhood . in all its playful glory. The food was fantastic and the presentation playful; popcorn shrimp in a popcorn popper, lobster pop tarts served in a toaster so Alice in wonderland!!! I must do a shout out to my server Yani who was fun and attentive and Charlotte the manager who was professional, knowledgeable & polite. She went out of her way to make my time extra enjoyable.

Do not go there hungry, you will be paying for the props and not the food

This place has a great menu with a fun theme that comes along as well. Bring your girlfriend, boyfriend and friends.

Thee whole experience was wonderful and the staff was great. I ordered surf n turf and my steak was AMAZING! Drinks were just okay, for as much as the cost they should have been stronger. I will definitely go again and you should to! Oh BEST appetizer was those fries that look like churros.

Quite pricey, but the meal in itself is theater! It Is it unique & highly instagrammable experience! Not to mention, the food is delicious and the servers are very attentive and accommodating!

This place is something you have to try at least once if you are near one. The food is good a little overpriced but you are paying for the experience. Each menu item is served in the most unique way. From drinks to dessert. We ordered the popcorn shrimp which was served in a popcorn maker, the jambalaya in a giant whale and the mac & cheese in a mouse trap. The service was also amazing. We reserved our table on the way there and were seating shortly after arriving. Parking sucks so be prepared to valet.

The Food is good, despite the negativity I have read.
Only real complaint is the size of the table to the size of the exaggerated Novelty Plating. A table for 2 cant fit 2 novelty plates. Either than that, it has a nice decor and ambiance

Barton G is way fun. Quirky props served with every dish make it the most unique restaurant anywhere. But it is VERY pricey for food that is only decent. The desserts are super-huge. Go for the experience. Best for some kind of celebration.

I've been here plenty of times. Needless to say this is a very theatrical restaurant. The dishes are comical, and created just for this restaurant. Everything comes out on very big displays. Yada yada. There was a problem with the computers system. Our so they told me. They no longer have donuts as bread in the beginning of the meal. So i ordered bread. Which i was told will cost 5 dollars (on the bill it was only 4$). It never came. Had to order it three times. Took over 2 and a half hours for us to get all our food. And all we ordered was appetizers. Not happy. Everyone in the restaurant working, came to our table and said sorry. I'm like go get my food. Why is every table eating except us. I had a615 reservation. And didn't leave until 830. Unreal. I actually had to leave to go out money in the meter for my car. 6 appetizer and one entree. 2 sabrinatinis. 325 plus tip. Bucket of bones was dry as paper. Not living up to the name on the door. I own his book. Have visited the versace mansion. But i can no longer recommend this restaurant. Service and food has fallen off.

This places looks great but your rubbing elbows with the table next to you and you can barely walk thru aisles are so small ... food was burnt and hard very bland and disgusting. . Beverages were great though and the funnel cakes were too.. wouldn't recommended this place at all

I was a little skeptical about going to this place with a group of AWESOME young ladies who love the House wives saga, I DON'T. It's featured on their show. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was OUTSTANDING. The ambiance spectacular and the SERVICE SUPREME. Thanks Handsome, Yanni for your exceptional customer service. And displays were worth every wonderful surprise. What a treat!

Presentation for the food and drinks are always extravagant. Makes you want to try new things just to see how its presented.

If you are a fan of cheese, try the lobster pop tart. Simply delicious.

You pay for the experience, and that is literally it.
The food is edible, but not memorable. You will have some instagramable food posts if thats what you're aiming for. (also only if you find good lighting)

I brought a guest from visiting from another country so for them it was fun, but we were all disappointed in the food.

We had the.
lobster pop tarts, which were probably the best of the bunch.
lobster truffled mac and cheese was decent but not amazing, not even close.
the hamachi was nice and refreshing with a light spice and sweetness from the granny smith apple.
we both had the filet mignon and lobster... lobster was so bland it was sand.. steak was over-cooked and lacked anything enjoyable.

I say if you want to pay a good buck for plating, go for it... but don't come too hungry.

The experience is amazing!! Nothing like it. I have been here an abundance of times because it is so fun to try everything on the menu with the different displays. Their mocktails/cocktails are great too. It is a little crammed but not uncomfortable. Their lobster mac n cheese is to die for!
