This is a great place for daye night out or entertaining. The views are beautiful and the service is amazing.

I have gone here with friends and with clients and only have good experiences.

The menu is robust and you ll find plenty of wine that you will enjoy.

It is not inexpensive and is more upscale but well worth it. If you are on the fence... go you ll love it.

The resteraunt was warm and inviting. We didnt have a table by a window, but still could see everything beautifully. You can really tell that they put their heart and soul into everything they did. From the waitstaff to the chefs, everything was done with a sence of pride. The food was marvelous. I had the Es cargo, and fllet minon. Both cooked to perfection, and the flavors were wonderful. It was funny because I had dropped a knife , and within seconds the waitstaff had picked it up, and given me a new one. I was not the only one who had, and the quickness of their actions, and the resurance that it was normal, was top notch hospitality. Thank you for making a first date a lifetime memory. Cant wait o come back.

I ve been coming to Lake Park for over 50 years. And Lake Park Bistro since it opened. I ve enjoyed multiple visits and even wrote one very positive review. Recently this Summer my visit was terrible. The service was poor. Our waitress took 15 min to acknowledge us and she was slow. Never asked how are food was! When I spoke to the management they apologized took my number but never called me! An organization so large with a presence in Milwaukee can t call to acknowledge there error I don t see providing more to all their businesses. Which I ve been so many. On a positive side the food was great, room beautiful with one of the best views in Milwaukee! Hence the 2 stars!

The service here is top notch and the view of Lake Michigan in the dining room is amazing. Of course the food is wonderful as well. I loved my meal. The gnocchi was crispy on the outside with a melt in your mouth center, just delicious!

Fully authentic French restaurant. Excellent typical dishes prepared at a high level. Excellent wine list, mostly French. Beautiful lake view if you can get in the front dining room.

Fantastic food. One of my favorite dining experiences in the area. The menu hits a large range of price points. I was not impressed by the drinks from the bar but that is minor compared to how good the food was. The interior gives off a good vibe. I was happy to be there, the view is probably fantastic during the day.

The website has an option to make reserves by submitting a form which was very convenient for me. The venue is absolutely beautiful, and my date and I were both impressed with the food and wine selections.

I was actually surprised at how much I liked eating here. I tend to think places are overrated and Lake Park Bistro was a great experience for my wife and I. We went during lunch right when they opened to avoid it being busy and had the Moules Marinieres, Soupe a l'Oignon, Croque Madam and Filet Mignon au poivre. All were cooked perfect and delicious.

In town from LA, and married to a French woman. Very good authentic offerings. Best moules frites my wife has had in a long time. Only item I would prefer is a French speaking staff, and outdoor bistro seating. My 8 year old daughter finished her food, and said the restaurant was under-rated.

I can't believe I've lived in Milwaukee for 30 years, and have never visited this restaurant.
We both had the most amazing French onion soup ever. I had hanger steak which was tasty, and my hubby had quail and skate (which is stingray) which he didn't care for.

The service was excellent and I got chocolate cake for my birthday. The decor is beautiful and the location is on Lake Michigan.

We will be back for the soup for sure.

I went here on a double date last weekend and loved it! It was a busy Saturday night but we did not have a wait with our reservation. There was a coat check before you enter the main dining room which is very convenient during the winter. Plenty of parking, which is always something I highly appreciate when dining in Milwaukee. The guys had the ribeye steak, the girls had the filet mignon, and we all shared an appetizer of tartare. If you like tiger meat during Christmas you'll probably love the tartare! I personally thought it was one of the best appetizers I've ever had and the waitress demonstrated the proper way to fold the egg into the meat. The filet mignon was incredibly tender and the guys praised their Ribeyes as well. Every year we choose a new higher end restaurant in Milwaukee to try on our double date and Bartolottas is easily my favorite.

Oh my goodness! I cannot say enough about this place..its a piece of heaven, and paris rolled into Wisconsin! The fare is delicious, with bold and subtle flavors. And some old french cuisine favorites. The hanger steak and frites, while simple is probably the best I've ever had. The staff is warm and knowledgeable. And the ambience and view is inviting, beautiful and serene.

Dined here with family, a wife and two kids ages 11 and 8. Not sure who raved more about our visit :) The escargot, mushroom salad and halibut that the adults shared were amazing and kids raved about children sized steak and grilled chicken portions. Our server was amazing and even the kids commented on a prompt and attentive service. Was totally worth trip from Chicago.

Only reason I didn't say 5 stars is because I only had a drink. No food. But the atmosphere, beverage, and service was excellent! My favorite was the beautiful walking area around the building. Took lots of pictures!!!

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at Lake Park Bistro on a Friday night. The service was excellent, the food was fantastic (highly recommend the grilled salmon!), and the price, while not cheap, didn't break the bank either.

We enjoyed a lovely birthday celebration brunch at Lake Park Bistro. I hadn't been there for several years, but it was a wonderful as in the past. The food is French-influence and on the pricy side, and delicious. Our group had croissants, almond raspberry stuffed croissants, cassoulet, eggs benedict, pain perdue (aka delicious french toast on brioche bread) baked onion soup with a nice cheesy crust on top, and poached salmon. They use Valentine coffee, my favorite! The atmosphere was warm, as were the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We were able to spend time visiting, eating, and enjoying our group. We will be back.

Great food, with traditional French style. Nothing earth shattering in terms of flavor combinations, but an excellent preparation of traditional French cuisine. Both scallops and rainbow trout were cooked perfectly. Service is ok for the price, but could perhaps be a bit more attentive at times.

Our company held the Holiday Party here and both the service and food was just excellent. If you are seeking an interesting site for just two or one-hundred, do not hesitate to give them a look.

Absolutely Amazing food!! Waiter was attentive. Loved the Brunch menu. They are open for afternoon brunch, one of only 2 places to go after college graduation!! I called over 20 restaurants to do a 200pm luncheon and all were closed except Bartolottas and a cafe that did t take reservations it was 1st come last served. Was sooo grateful they would take our reservation!!

Had dinner at Lake Park Bistro last night and will say the food was excellent, but when spending that much it has to be great. Still can't get past the paper tablecloths though - felt so tacky, like something you'd see on the table at Applebee's or Uno's or another chain restaurant, not at one of Milwaukee's presumably best! Why not get the white linens we're paying for? Are you trying to say that the French eat on torn sheets of paper? I can't believe that. And your tag team of waitresses that brought our food gave every plate to the wrong person - even the wine! Not a big deal to say, "no that's hers", but you shouldn't have to when you're paying for exceptional dining. I'd hazard Lake Park Bistro has lost something and should take a close look at their dining experience to ensure it's worth the price.

Gourmet food, great service, nice views of Lake Michigan, and classic restaurant ambiance. Menu is diverse enough to have something for everyone. Prices are high, but fair considering the quality of cuisine. Ample parking.

Been here twice. First time got veal cuttlets, not good or worth it. Second time got the menu de chef. Four delicious courses. Probably the best meal I've ever had! Definitly go with the specials or chef menu. You'll pay, but it will be very tasty. Service and atmosphere were top notch both times. Drinks were also very delicious. This place is pricey, paid 180 for two people with two drinks and a cheap half bottle of wine. That said it was a special occasion and worth every penny!

No really a top restaurant. This restaurant has declined tremendously over the past years. Better to look for other options. Very sad of our experience yesterday at Lake Park Bistro. The beginning was good, drinks and appetizers were what you'd expecte at a restaurant like this one. Ordered the main course, and very soon de food was ready. However, the order was not correct, the presentation was not up to par. Most disappointing was the service, no one cared to check if our food was fine or if we needed anything. 30 minutes later, after we stoped eating and had great frustration, someone came and check on us.
Again, very poor customer service and disappointed of this French Bistro cuisine. You will pay for the location but we should have low expectations around the food and the experience.

Food was good. I love ambiance, BUT service was bad. Waitress didn't check on us even once after she took order....
Also I did not like idea of one pease of bread ... I am used to having bread on my table rather than bread sitting in bascet in busy room where everyone is passing by bread and breath and sneeze over it...
