Sunday brunch can't be beat. I had the 3 course brunch with beet salad, steak and eggs, and creme brulee. the beet salad was fantastic, the steak was perfectly cooked, and the creme brulee was good. Service was a little slow for our group, we waited about an hour for our food to show up. The interior is gorgeous.

Beautiful location, quaint and romantic atmosphere with outstanding staff that goes the extra mile for you to have a positive experience. Our waitress Sharon was superb, she made sure our experience was one of a kind. High quality food that was made to perfection. Thank you for the amazing dinner!
Finest lunch in Milwaukee. French classics really shine here. Fantastic setting--Make sure and request the main dining room with the hilltop lake views.
I order the filet mignon for a 2nd time here and again it was phenomenal! Medium rare, melted right in my mouth. Very elegant, clean place with amazing service.
The atmosphere is beautiful, the service is wonderful, and the food is amazing. I had the veal and one of their salads. Their fresh warm bread and butter is served to you as needed by the servers. They really take care of you here and the view overlooking Lake Michigan doesn't hurt either!
Rare French experience in Milwaukee (particularly now that Chez Jacques is gone). Stunning lake view for our engagement dinner - great service, amazing wine list (but pricey), heavenly steak tartare and desserts. Highly recommended. Planning to come more often during the winter for onion soup at the bar.
Fantastic food and beautiful views of the lake. Everyone loved the meal and I would recommend this to anyone! Great place to try some French cuisine and enjoy great company!
Our favorite restaurant in Wisconsin. Best French restaurant in Wisconsin! Everything is worth trying, but our favorites are the hanger steak with bistro fries, boeuf bourguignon, and asparagus soup. Recently added interesting vegetarian entrees. Seasonal menus and great wines. Not to be missed.
One of this nation's finest restaurants. I've traveled to every state for years and have found many great places to eat but this place in my hometown is truly a winner. Food and service extraordinair.
The staff at Lake Park Bistro made sure I had an enjoyable birthday! The left a birthday card on the table and gave me a complimentary birthday dessert. Our waiter and waitress were great! Both very friendly, professionals and prompt. I just turned 21 and wanted a wine that I would like, sweet. The waiter asked my preference and brought out a recommendation that was fantastic! I wish I knew what it was called. My boyfriend and I steaks were cooked perfectly! My only complaint is that my ribeye had too much of the red wine sauce on it. Other than that the fries, desserts and food were the best.
A damper was that their card machine happened to be down so we had to write our card information on the receipt and the waitress said she charge the card after the machines started working again. It was unsettling, we didn t really feel comfortable leaving all of our card information on a receipt. I hope she shredded it.
Other than that, amazing staff and great food! I am a rewards member so I ll be back to spend my rewards!
Service was wonderful and the food was even better. I went there for my anniversary and they gave us a card and some champagne. Very happy with my experience there!
My husband and I both have celiac. They take such great care of us that we keep coming back. Beautiful view of the lake, professional staff and exquisite food.
I was here last month with my wife and a friend and we absolutely loved it. It was my first time here and the service was excellent. From greeting me when I first walked in at the coat check, to drinks at the bar, to sitting us down for dinner. Everyone was very polite and took care of our every request.
The food was amazing as well. I ordered the filet mignon and it was prepared wonderfully and tasted delicious. Everyone I was with enjoyed their meals as well. We will definitely be returning.
Food is always excellent with proper attention to detail. The wait staff over-delivers on every occasion, always justifying a nice night out or special occasion.
Its Ok. Good view, and pretty expensive. My food had way too much salt, but my dining partner's food was fine. They brought a different desert then what i ordered, seems like it could be a nice place but I wasn't given the attention that was probably required that we have a good meal.
One of our favorite formal dining restaurants in the city! Everything has always been top notch and we have never been disappointed. The baked french onion soup is to die for - absolute best we have ever had.
I thought my mom and I would have really enjoyed this restaurant, but we were a bit underwhelmed and feel that Le Reve in Tosa and Pastiche in downtown are better options in Milwaukee for French cuisine.
Things we liked: the view of Lake Michigan free parking! the butter (kinda random, but it was really good!) the wine pairings for the Menu de Chef the service from our waiter s assistant (I think her name was Michelle) my dessert, which was an Earl Grey pot de creme with honey brittle and lavender chantilly creme. The bright, lemony Riesling was a perfect pair.
Things we didn t care for: our waiter made the same spiel for the specials at every table and became a broken record. the soup l oignon was so-so, a little too sweet the entrees could have used more vegetables to brighten up the plate my filet was well-done when I ordered it rare, but they were quick to fix that noisy in our room and was difficult to maintain conversation we got a bit of a pretentious air to the place
Overall, this place was nice, but didn t knock our socks off. However, I would go there again for drinks and dessert.
Had a great time! They put a happy graduation card on the table which was a very nice touch! The food is always not to disappoint!!! Great view, awesome food, and great and polite staff!
High quality: the staff is well trained, friendly and knowledgeable, the food was delicious and the portions were generous, the location was simply beautiful. The prices are what you should expect and we had a lovely dinner.
They went the extra step to make our luncheon special. We had a table for 18 and the room all to ourselves. They brought us a bottle of champagne for our toast and helped us select two good bottles of wine for the meal. All of the food was marvelous and then they helped serve the cake. Hospitality hearts.
Wonderful Restaurant, fantastic location and views. Food is wonderful and service is great We have had both lunches and dinners here and always had delicious food and great service. Absolutely recommend.
This place is pretty much what you would expect at the price point. Everything was really good from the service to the food. For the money they would need to do something a little extra to get 5 stars from me though.
This fantastical gem of a bistro is a must have for any Milwaukee foodie. With a creative Parisian inspired menu, a well balanced ambiance, and a talented service staff, this place exudes elegance at every corner. If that's not enough, their executive chef Adam was nominated and awarded a James Beard award!
This is my wife s favorite restaurant in Milwaukee. In my opinion it is in the top 2 or 3. Certainly one of the most romantic spots as well. Cannot beat the innovative and wonderful menu, service and views of Lake Michigan. Has been in business for well over 20 years that is the best review a restaurant can get. In Milwaukee, the name Bartolotta is synonymous with very high quality and attention to detail.
We had our wedding reception luncheon here on March 19th, 2019. The table looked perfect. The service from our server Carissa was fantastic. The food was amazing....some of the best food I've ever had, honestly! All of our guests were very pleased with their experience as well. I highly recommend eating lunch or dinner here, or having a wedding reception here. Wonderful experience for us. Daniel, the manager, was a pleasure to work with in our planning stages, as well as on our big day. A+ service.
An incredible place with excellent variety of food, good taste, a group of very nice and qualified person to give you the best service. You must make a reservation.
My wife and I both found hair in our food (she found one short & blonde, I found one short dark & curly)
And when you order the 3 course brunch and the waitress asks if you want another mimosa, perhaps they should mention the small and weak second mimosa will cost $12.
Beautiful building and view though.
March 9 Update: They refunded the bill, apologized profusely, and said they were taking measures to ensure the kitchen is tighter with quality control. Kudos to them for after the fact customer service. Thx.
You should go here for a special occasion. We went for our 9th anniversary and it was great. We had a drink at the bar while we waited for a table by the window overlooking the lake. Someone else had their anniversary that night as they had a special note written on the sidewalk outside in chalk, so that's fun. The steak frites dish was awesome, get all the sauces. Also order the muscles, some of the best I've had.
Excellent food with a nice view of the lake. The servers walk around with a basket of French baguette pieces that are offered throughout the meal. I had the Coquilles Saint Jacques which includes 3 seared scallops on a bed of beech mushrooms and a flavorful puree. It was delicious. Not very filling, but delicious. For dessert I had the Mousse Au Chocolat Yves Camdeborde which was to die for. It is a chocolate mousse piece with a praline crust and had coconut sorbet and a piece of coconut crunch. It was played beautifully and the flavors were amazing together.
First time at Bistro. Service- excellent, menu- varied and well prepared, view of lake - beautiful . Only problem, we picked the wrong day, Father's Day. Felt crowded, rushed and noisy. Looking forward to going back for lunch during the week.
Typically my favorite restaurant in Milwaukee, but recently we celebrated my best friends upcoming nuptials, with Sunday Brunch at the Bistro, and received terrible service. Even with a reservation, we waited a very long time to be seated in a restaurant that barely had anyone in it. And, our two servers were like ghosts for the majority of the meal. When the bill came we asked them to split the total among three of us and I ended up getting charged for the majority of it. When we pointed out the error and asked them to fix it, we were treated as if we had done something wrong. Very disappointing and not at all consistent with all of the good times and great service I ve had at Lake Park Bistro in the past.
This restaurant is absolutely amazing. Their ribeye is by far the best steak I ve ever had. My wife loved the filet mignon. The staff are well informed and polite.
