I used to spend 3 - 4 lunches a week at this store and it seems like it is still a great place to shop for books.

Was at the cafe. They replaced brand of lemonade I liked but the new brand actually tasted as good.

Finally stopped in to pick up United States Coins Mega Red 6 Th edition made my week and staff member was very helpful ...

Awesome and huge bookshop directly @Union Square! Four floors full of books, nice staff and a lovely cafe on the third floor!

Clean and generally quiet - used to like coming here to read a couple of books get a vibe and find something but the no sitting policy ruins the joy of looking for a good book

Huge selection. They can print your book or get it from the warehouse.

This place has always been my absolute favorite. Has the best selection of books out of all the barnes and nobles. Also, always has all the best readings from popular authors.

It has a wide variety of books, it has a medium area where there are music and dvd cds.They have several floors, one of them is for children and there are lego toys and board games.On one of the floors there is a cafe.The bathrooms they are clean. I love this bookstore, that if I hope they have a little more books in Spanish, they have a good selection, but they can have more since we are many who buy them.

Great books and things good for gifting. Bit expensive. Very relaxing starbucks coffee shop on the 3rd floor.

Good bookstore, there aren't too many left like this one. It's in a magnificent building, they have all kinds of books and other media, there's a huge children's section, and a Starbucks upstairs by the magazines. Sometimes they hold events like author book signing, etc.

I've been coming to this store for years and I love the atmosphere, professional & friendly staff, plus they have books on all 4 levels. You can find music here, the kid's section is on the 2nd level and the cafe on the top.

My first time here and it's good to buy a few books

Love this place. 4 floors, huge selection, and the staff is so nice. I was recently there to look for a specific book and I couldn't find it. 2 employees helped me look on 2 different floors until it was found (it ended up being on sale so it was in a different location). Always a lovely experience at this store.

Well we all love B&N but on this day a few people were a little disappointed. My daughter told her kids and me that Cookie Monster was to appear live. We waited awhile but no Cookie Monster. We we told there was a miscommunication. I'm calling Cookie Monster's agent to give him the old one-two.

Amazing selection of books, toys, games, gifts, etc. However, the store is very disorganized and has a lack of employees to help customers.

It is a nice place. Wish they had more places to sit. The only sitting area is on the forth floor and they sometimes get annoyed when you try to sit on the floor or on the window seal.

It had the magazine I was looking for. Many helpful sales clerks.

If you have anything to go to Union Square, be sure to stop by. Look at the book and feel free with the Starbucks discount coupon upstairs ..

Doing strong business but the shopping experience is abysmal if you have specific items in mind. No self service options for shoppers and staff are as one would expect when crowds are heavy. And there is plenty of stock of popular items, I was zero for 5 on specifics. Much better overall experience and inventory at the Strand.

Every employee was kind knowledgeable and helpful from the phone to the store. Even though the store was super crowded there were more than enough stock of items and the checkout line was lightning fast lol I wish I could give 10 stars!
