Biggest book store I've ever been in. 4 to 5 leaves. Must go to. Love the comic area
One of my favorite stores in town. 4 floors, with books and games and a coffee shop on top.
What else do you need?
Book ordered via the internet. Went to pick him up during my visit to New York. Helped immediately. Very large and very varied selection. Prices are good too.
By the way, I have come across a drummer of Red Hot Chili Peppers ...
One of the better B&N stores in the NY metropolitan area.
Clean, great selections and a nice seating area/Starbucks to do work. Not. Too quite in the seating, However
Very nice Barnes and Noble with 4 FLOORS!!!! The staff are helpful, nice, and patient. I just love looking at all the books and there's no penalty to picking up a book and looking through its first few pages. There's also a nice cafe for studying to get away from campus life.
I have already passed dozens of times. There are books, CDs, miscellaneous goods, and so on. It is also good for meeting place. Because it is wide, as you go up to the top and come down gradually, you will have more than 30 minutes soon without having to buy anything, there is a toilet on the middle floor (the floor of the child's book). Bargains books with stickers stuck together are heavy, but very cheap. It might be a good idea to look for souvenirs with a little clean eyes.
Huge store, lots of books...what else do you need as a book affectionado. There is a cafe too.
Nice place to stock up on your reading or reference books. Coffee shop to chill at and do some reading. Very good connections to MTA buses and trains as right there at E 14th St and Union Sq. W.
A very big facility carrying a lot of books. Even has a clearance section as well. The staff are very helpful to help guide to where the books are in such a big building. I believe it has around 4 floors with escalator and elevator access.
Amazing selection and query helpful staff. The 4 floors can be daunting at first so asking for guidance is encouraged for first timers
Always a pleasure to visit the flagship, though the store could benefit from interspersed seating. Hint, hint management.
This is the best Barnes and Noble I've ever been to. Absolutely huge. 4.5 stars.
The best Barnes and Noble I've been to un the city.
Always enjoy walking through and browsing through the books. The location at Union Square should be a little cooler.
To be honest, I often come here because I need to use the bathroom since the one in Union sq is gross. Beyond that, this Barnes and Noble has a nice layout, a great selection of books, and events on the top floor.
Very nice place, with nice staff. You can find a lot of books here, and also puzzle games and toys for kids and adults.
So many great books and I love that they do reading here
Fantastic library in the center. Good deal. Much space. A lot of variety. I hope to return
Love this book store, and the cafe area great place for studying.
Magnificent 3rd floor bookstore, with a cafe on the top floor; all types of literature are available. There is also a "good business" corner. I really liked the concept of "blind reading": a selection of wrapped books - you can't see the title or the summary, the packaging just gives an indication of the type of reading (adventure, comedy, etc ... ). There are also special editions of great classics. A must for book lovers !!
Extremely useful when searching for places of interest. Please don't hesitate to utilize it.
quiet and super nice place for kids and grownups. Usually the bar is full.
Barnes And Noble Is A Great Store Where You Can Find The Book You Want.
Extremely clean and has a nearby Starbucks as a sitting area. Employees are in every floor to provide excellent service. I would definitely come here again not just for the books, but also for the food.
Rude check-out clerks, imbecile check-out supervisor
The best hangout place with the kids around Union square, and when they choose a gift you know you got them something that is worth it if it's from Barnes & Noble!!!
The best bookstore, amazing selection, excellent customer service.
Biggest Barnes & Nobles I've ever seen. I had to be dragged out to leave.
Great retail experience. Excellent selections of toys, games, gifts and books.
Place is massive yet very well organized, its in Manhattan yet its resonably priced, workers there are very helpful. Ordered books via B&N online but few of them with hardcovers came really bent (delivery company issues), went there to replace them, and since they havent got them on stock they ordered them and called me when they arrived for pickup. So anyone buying books do yourself a favor if you can and visit physical location to avoid shipping issues.
Meeting Russell Brand was a trip! He was fascinating and inspiring. Nobody does book signings better than Barnes and Noble , Union Square, nobody.
Love books, escalator out of commission, untrusty elevator, stinky unkempt bathrooms.
The store has a great layout and every book you could want
Always like going to Barnes and Noble can get magazines and niknaks what we cant get back in the uk
A very beautiful bn. It has a great view. It has a great NYC section :)
Excellent customer service. Hugh variety of products.
There aren't many great bookstores left. This is the granddaddy of them all. They will have what you are looking for and much more.
One of the still remaining large brick and mortar Book Store. 5 floors of Books and a Starbucks cafe. And event space
The staff is super knowledgeable about their areas and made searching for specific books a breeze.
Great 3 story book store. Discounts on newly released books. Nice cafe on the top floor. Lots of seating.
Check this place for authors interviews and Books signing.
This is a multi story bookstore in Union Square. It is often crowded and noisy. The staff is helpful and there are public restrooms. If I really, absolutely need a book at the moment, I will purchase something. If not, I will stick to Amazon and pay a fraction of the price.
This B&N is great and this store exemplifies why Amazon hadn't out them out of business
A bookstore that still feels like a bookstore, pretty helpful staff, clean bathroom and a century old elevator (just kidding). I got the one book I will et there for
Big crowded store but I found what I needed with staff assistance and was checking out within 10 minutes
The best.
The cd s are geat oldies but goldies after buying your book go up stairs get coffee read your book or go across the street you tfe park
A great variety of book on different interesting topics, I was actually quite impressed and overwhelmed by the selection of books they have. Spent more time there than expected.
The book that you do not find in that place, you will not find it anywhere ...
Love when they have the free books for kids because my daughter loves to read
Best bookstore in the city! I especially love their Starbucks inside and I enjoy their signings as well. The booksellers are always so helpful whenever I call and have a question. Highly recommend everyone to pay this wonderful store a visit!
Huge Barnes & Nobles with a great selection of books.
Great selection in a relaxed, unhurried environment.
They have done a great job in opening the walking space inside. It use to be so many tables with books as soon as you walked in, but now its less and there was no crowds people follow the rules. Every one wore mask. The Cafe also is open again so you can sit and read but limited space. It was a nice day to go with my girls to get some Harry Potter items.
It is one of the largest chain that I have seen on 4 floors, a wide choice for every kind of subject and age group.
Also a music piano and i
prehistoric dvd movies.
Children's area with 4 tables, with books and games very large for them.
Coffee area run by Starbucks very stocked with sweets where you can read the magazines for free while sipping a coffee, with attached bathroom.
Escalators to access the upper floors.
Fast home staff.
Now what about the policy of the house and 'few chairs for coffee', and for the whole department you can not sit, only sprawling on the ground between one corner and another between the shelves.
You see all these people sitting on the ground reading a lot at Suck, it's evident that Americans like it that way.
The dirty yellow / gray carpet, Enjoy!
I'm glad I found one of these near where I work. I miss a good bookstore, and while I've lately been fond of Astoria Bookshop in Queens there's nothing quite like visiting a Barnes and Noble. Growing up, me and my family would go to the one by us on nights after we ate out.
Enough nostalgia; great selection, clean atmosphere, and oh my GOD there's a toy section.
I hate to say it, but Amazon is still cheaper on some of these titles, but their Annex section is a great place to find some good books for cheap. Might go back and pay the extra $30 for Harry Potter anyway.
Mostly use it as a place to get picked up from. If you want a book use amazon prices here are pretty high.
They have a great deal of a selection so I took pictures of them.
A large bookstore. I feel this feeling. Always owl! He not only brings us knowledge. Make our thinking work. In many ways. As long as you can work hard. Your creation is to contribute to the world. Keep going.
Barnes & Noble, nuff said. Seems to have frequent plumbing and escalator problem though.
I still like bookstores and BN are still great. Great staff at this location.
Granted I'm biased, but as a mystery author, I always love walking into this bookstore. Everything is easily found, and nobody minds if I say, might I scribble on it? Signing my own books can be actually much harder to accomplish...I'm always stocked here, always grateful to the deeply personable booksellers, and super thankful that they are so accommodating.
A lot of variety; great service. Nice place to hang out with family!
