It's a really really really really compact and close up Vegas strip where people are just rubbing up and against you from all sides, but that's part of the fun. Constant lights and traffic both by foot and car. There are street performers who will definitely grab your attention.

Times square is one of the symbol of New York. It is always impressive when you get out from the subway to see all those animated screens. Even when you go at night, it is always very illuminated! A must do

Certainly lives up to expectations with it s never ending neon lights, huge display screens, and hordes of passing people. It s a place that screams exuberance and excitement and I d recommend everyone to come and see it at least once. With that said, I d recommend a 20 minute walk through the place (pushing through the people alone requires such time) and leave. It s so commercialized and touristy now I doubt locals would want to pass through this place. There are better areas close by to shop and eat without the hustles of tourist crowds and people trying to sell you souvenirs or pictures.

There's nothing like the feeling of being in Times Square for New Year's Eve. It's such a great rush. You feel like the whole world is there. People from all over the world coming to celebrate together.

I loved all the lights and the pictures and the water coming from the buildings was cool. People protesting about different things and There was people dressed up as the avengers and transformers outside and you have to pay to take pictures and even give them a high five.

The heart of NYC, Times Square is a busy but welcoming spot.
I NYC and it never disappoints. With so many hotels, restaurants and stores there's always something to do!
I can't wait for NYE as we head into 2020!

It is a very popular place in New York City, nice to go there walking, biking, and car. A great place to take pictures, a lot of people there.

If you want to be there for New year's Eve be prepared to stay there from very early in the morning until midnight (without going to the bathroom!l. I've heard that some people use diapers!
So, if you have a few days left, don't go there on the 31st. Just wait a day or two and you will be able to enjoy the place.

Such a busy place but the billboards are absolutely amazing. When you get out of the train station on Broadway there are loads of people in costumes trying to get pictures with you but once you start to walk down the street it s so fab! It s just a superb place and the choice of restaurants is hard to fault.

so much to do and see, but the hotdog stands...eh, I've had better homemade ones.

A must visit while in NYC. This place is everything good, bad, real, fake, gritty and flashy about NYC in one concentrated dose. Expect chaos and crowds and be ready for a stimulus overload. Avoid restaurants here as they are the chains you can find anywhere. The one exception is John s pizza off broadway...you have to go there!

What more needs to be said. It s Times Square! 360 degrees of jaw dropping sights and sounds.

Hey all I can say is you can't visit NYC without going to Times Square.

One of the busiest streets in the world , the place is nuts , buzzing with people night or day , great atmosphere and feels quite safe with lots of boys in blue present. Another iconic must destination in New York that you just have to experience

Times Square was in my top 3 favorite things about visiting NYC. We went twice both at night. It was a lot of fun. Just looking around, shopping and watching street performances. I loved it and it s absolutely beautiful.

Wonderful place!!! Honestly, if it wasn't so overcrowded and if everything wasn't so expensive, I would have surely put five stars. All the giant screens and the iconic buildings make this place really beautiful regardless of the pollution on the ground. And when the night comes, it's even prettier.

Traffic is crazy, it's always very crowded, with public performers. Five stars only because it's such an iconic place.

Crowded, full of tourists who don t know what they re doing staring straight up at the signs while running into me. Awful place where consumerism is worshipped and everyone prays to the golden calf of the neon lights.

It s really nice to see the place. We have been there for couple of times. Both of times we have enjoyed the walk through the area and you can see it s always crowded and lots of things are happening here. Must visit place in NYC. It s good to view the location after sunset. Newyork is the best place to find all the things and people in a same place. Bus tours are also good to go especially night tour. Will be definitely back

One of my favorite places in the Big Apple. Times Square is a must! There are thousands of people from every nation around the world, it is a place of dreams, colorful, always crowded. There are several reataurants and shops but they are expensive, better buy souvenirs at other parts of the city.

I give Times Square located in Manhattan, NY 10036 FIVE stars WHAT A great spot to look up to the sky and see all tall structures that surrounds you.(DONT FORGET ABOUT TRAFFIC) Its one of the many spot in NEW YORK you must see and really enjoy. 5

Friday night was little crouded there but that's what I loved about this place.

Times Square is one of the most remarkable landmarks exist in the world. therefore, many people look like to visit Times Square from different part of the world. I live in New York City for very long time and it is one of the places where I always like to go because the people come from the different parts of the world and we all get to share common values, culture and experiences.

A must see landmark in New York with plenty going on everyday - we were here for Pride on 30th June as well and the atmosphere was electric. We had drinks at various places and also ate at Joe's Pizza a few times which is another must do place.

Have been here several times. It never fails to amaze me. I like how lively this place is even at very late hours.

Its not the same after they closed down the toys r us. I love thr new hershey store they added but other than the lights nothing else to do.

You gonna love the night life. Its the place to be when the sun sets. Huge crowd and the energy is absolutely vibrant and amazing. I come here every single night when I was in NYC just to absorb the scene. It like one huge party in the street. It doesn't let up even after midnight. Times Square at night and during the day is quite different. Early morning walk is recommended as you can explore the place more freely without the huge crowd.

Times Square is still the center of attraction late night in New York City. The lights and ambiance are always right to set the mood on a night on the town. I would recommend stopping at Dallas BBQ for a bite to eat if your around and looking for a satisfying meal worth the money and prepared with covid safety measures taken so you can stay at the restaurant to consume your food,dine in their outside seating area or take your food to go.

Extremely busy with loads of people, shops and the homeless. There are some loud street performers who play the drums with buckets, and if anyone photographs or takes a video of them, they yell and swear at bypasses for their money and then act as though they do not give permission for their photo to be taken. Worth visiting, but happy to leave.

Always always awesome place. No matter eat great food or shopping. Fantastic place

I RECENTLY MOVED TO MANHATTAN! A FEW MONTHS AGO! BUT SINCE CORONA HIT IT WAS A GHOST TOWN IT WAS DEPRESSING TO SEE! BUT NOW THE CITY IS BREATHING AGAIN AND IM SO HAPPY TO GET OUT I JUST WISH THE TOURISTS WOULD KEEP THEIR MASK ON! I FEEL THEY WILL BRING MANHATTAN CORONA AGAIN!

It is just a mecca of advertising screens and over priced stores. I don't get it. I mean sure, it's iconic, but at the end of the day it is just a giant advertising corner in Manhattan. Not impressed.

Crowded, fun, pricey, literally everything you'd ever want from NYC. There were great street proformers and then people in really bad 2nd rate costumes. Groups of people who were tourists, groups of people who could hurt you if you looked at them funny. Fun attractions that are cool to look at and some that you don't touch with a 10 foot pole. So fun and will always be back for more.

Even with a shutdown of 10pm due to Covid you never miss a chance to go to Times Square

Great place! We went there and it rained. Really love the neon lights and stores. Love the vibe of Times Square. In the pandemic it isn't very crowded so I definitely suggest visiting if you are a tourist like me.

Exciting, colorful, buzzing....not enough adjectives to describe this iconic location! Even with the worldwide pandemic, Times Square remains a source of positivity and a symbol of the human will to prevail.

Restaurants only offer take out or delivery and many souvenir shops are closed. Yet the crowds continue, thinner but still enjoying the sights, sounds and experiences.

Been here earlier. Will be back again. And again.

Crazy insane place to watch people! When in NYC go do the crazy Times Square!

lovely billboards, but be aware from pickpockets. They make little shows and when people gather around other thiefs get in your back. Don't get a false safety feeling because of the police, they can't help you because of the crowd.

Boring, chaotic and far from what's shown on the movies. It's just a mess and random and very large displays, with lots of traffic and always with some construction going on. Nothing special.

Really cool! If you have never been there, it is worth walking through. At some point we usually end up walking through on our way to or from somewhere else. Go at night!

The most vibrant place to be at in New York. An amalgamation of people from all over the globe. Possibly the most cosmopolitan tourist location I have ever been too.
Its always buzzing be it the mornings or the evenings. It's a nice place to walk in our just to hang out.there's so much to observe and soak in. I quite liked being there. Though it for overwhelming after a point. But one has to walk around this area to understand it better.

Times square is very happening and fun place. Can be definitely visited once even if nothing really important about it. Just chill out and soak the ambience there. Try a local pizza and just hang out there. Very cool.

Fantastic and amazing experience! I love seeing people from all over the world in spite of it being crowded. The restaurant selection appeals to all tastes and budgets.

Lively and colorful spot. The nightlight is beautiful. But be careful of tourist traps! People who take pictures with you in their costumes expect tips! They can be threatening when you avoid to pay and NY police just ignore them. btw it s a nice place to visit.

There's no people at time square right now and it's so quiet

Love this magical place in NYC. It's probably one of the most famous locations in New York City and should not be missed. The people watching here is top-notch with people from all over the world and the light show/massive advertising signs on all of the buildings that are on 24/7 are amazing. The stores that border TS are terrific.

I enjoy a morning walk or a short run but all NYC is much beautiful but Times Square if you make the math as long that I know Times Square you have 10 Squares where you can just sit and enjoy the view without moving a muscle

It's an amazing place, and it's no telling what you will find. all the way from Back to the Future driving around to Spider-Man crawling the walls LOL.

This is the place to be. Full of energy and life. There would be no visit to NY without going to TS.

Times Square and the surroundings including the Empire State Building and many other sky scrapers make an interesting view.

There are many attractions including broadway, M&M shop etc. Better to walk around the streets and avenues for a 1st hand , wonderful experience.

Good store. Two floors. Lots of things to view if you like Disney. However not a lot of marvel and star wars things if you are more into this than into Mickey and his friends.

What else can be said, it s Time Square. Every single thing that you know it s true. Always full of people, full of shining screens and people disguised as the popular characters. This is a place that everyone that has been in NYC must see. Be ready to take picture and to catch the awesomeness that this place always displays. I recommend to visit it both in the day and night, they re two totally different experiences.

Times Square is certainly is great tourist hotspot! You will have a wonderful time taking pictures in this awesome place. Remember to be careful with your belongings and kids. In a place so crowded it's hard to find stuff again!

This place is amazing. It makes you feel it is day when it is night because it so illuminated. It feels amazing and it looks just like you are in a movie. You should go during night. The stores here are really aesthetic

Super busy as usual but a must see. They've added some food trucks and more seating since my last visit a few years back. Wish there were bathrooms around. This is where NYC could do better... bathrooms.
