Times Square's always fabulous try visiting food trucks & rooftop establishments for amazing views
What can I say about this location that probably hasn't been said. It is a dynamic, busy and exciting place to visit. A little too hectic usually but that's New York
This is a New York landmark, I really like to come here to feel the best atmosphere.
Times Square is epic - a stunning area which is the heart of New York! I loved that place a lot.
Loved the place. Place where you will find loads of talents in the streets. You will find people from all over the world.
Manhattan's one spot that never sleeps with all the lights of the billboards and the rush of humans moving in all directions.
Only issue I noticed recently is the rise of Elmos and Avenger costumed people that will not let you pass without a photo lol.
Absolutely a place to visit when u are in N.Y ...to enjoy every single step
Way too many pedestrian plazas which creates a feeling of congestion. The streets need to be opened up more so car traffic can flow more smoothly instead of the unsightly bottlenecks. Too much clutter that it's becoming chore to navigate. Otherwise it's ok.
What can you possibly say about Time Square Plaza that hasn't already been said beautiful during the day 10 * is beautiful at night since the birth of LED signs and TVs the entire area is surrounded by brightly-lit incredibly colorful signs advertising and posting for everything you can imagine there's always something going on singing bands music you name it. Personally I could go there every day for months and not be bored. I think most people would agree Time Square Plaza is the heart of New York City
Unbelievable, this place is stunning. There is everything you could imagine and more. Huge buildings, shops, had advertising boards. And lights everywhere, makes it feel like daylight. Wow
Vibrant place. The lights and the people around just amazes. Love it !
Very nice, corteous and knowledgeable staff. Good inventory as well. I went in to inquire about a scotch and walked out with 7 bottles.... the mini ones of course!!
Nice place to sit and feel the downtown New York. Better to finish the New York visit before dawn and spend evening some time at Times Square. It s place to sit and relax, have some snack n coffee. Can capture some pics to show up other than that there is nothing much here. May be if you are tolerant to cold n excited about New Year celebrations then you can visit time square on 31st mid night.
A must visit spot at night in NYC. I took a late night stroll and it felt like I've been showered by colorful lights. I could really feel the ambient of The City That Never Sleeps..
Went here for New Years' Eve 2019. Hell-a crowded & poorly managed queues. No clear directions, conflicting directions by security. That being said, we came back the next day & it was awesome.
Spent the weekend there with my son for his 18th birthday! My first time there and his second. Great time.
Its cool to say you went there but the amount of homeless people was astonishing... Like the Los Angeles California area... Not my favorite place in the world. Prob a lot cooler to be for the NYE Ball drop and stuff but def not recommending this place as a GO TO destination.
Crossroads of the world. There is no better people watching in the world than right here. Not sure what I can say that hasn t already been said about this place. If you are claustrophobic then this may not be he place for you. Wall to wall people no matter the time of day or weather outside. My daughter can t wait to go back
The liveliest and brightest place of New York. It's partytime every evening. I loved every moment that I spent there. If only they could add some public toilets there. And also clothe the naked girls who charge money for taking photos with the tourists. Their naked painted bodies sort of spoil the show.
Times Square is still the center of attraction late night in New York City. The lights and ambiance are always right to set the mood on a night on the town.
We went at 330 in the morning so it wasn't super packed and crazy. It felt awesome being there. Being from the midwest I never thought I would make it to NY.
Amazing bucket list visit. Even in the rain it's an awesome sight.
It is very beautiful in United State of America it is my favourite place
Busiest city in the world 24x7, enthralling lights and buildings. People of all different race can be seen here. Its a great experience to be in the place.
Guys, time square is a too good place for shopping . it has so many sky touching skyscrapers . please visit here if you ever got a chance to come new york . too good. please visit . must visit. and please also follow me in google maps.
Loved the late night brightness of the city lights. It looks better at night than it does during the day. Even though it's jam packed it's still one of the best places to go out and have a good time.
Loved everything about time square! Will definitely come back
What an amazing time. I've been to NYC a few times but this time I was a mega tourist everyone was so nice and it's always best to have a little plan otherwise you can get distracted alot. We went on some tours visited landmarks. We even downloaded local loyalty apps to get discount and enjoy our time away. An amazing pace to go and take pictures.
So crowded yet so beautiful. It's a completely different experience while you're in Times Square vs being in NY itself. Beware of the costumed superheros, naked grandmas, etc. Just for a photo, they want $20 even when you don't want to take the picture.
It is probably always busy on Times Square, but don't let that hold you back. Things to keep in mind: go - if possible - in the evening, you'll love the commercial signs and the vibe. Also when it rains or when it has rained the famous steps are closed off, so everyone is at the same level (just to keep in mind for any brilliant picture taking).
Iconic - but even in a first snow it's crowded ! That's to be expected in New York at Christmas time - I might suggest night time visits would be more impressive if you're coming in December - you'll be able to see the lights - it's a bit more charming and even pretty at night - there's more sights to see then . But Times Square is a must see place if it's your first time in New York . Don't be afraid to step off the beaten path and check some of the neighborhood out too .
Excellent positive vibes. One of the worlds best place to Rome around.
Times Square iconic and mind blowing experience. Saw the theaters and was an experience to walk around. Sight sound and smell of street food fair was exhilarating
I had a fantastic time here. The food was great and I enjoyed all of the stores.
Lights, billboards, signs, people, cars, trash, beggars, homeless EVERYWHERE.
this is Times Square.
Embrace yourself to see all of this.
Don't worry you will enjoy it as a whole.
Not for nothing is one of the most visit places in the world
It was almost midnight the night I came to Times Square. It was my prom night and our group had a lot planned. Unfortunately, there was so much activity going on and most places eateries near the area were booked. The only word I have for that place is that it's bright as hell and always active. There are so many advertisements in one place that it's hard to focus on anything. We simply walked around.
There is such a vast difference in the daytime where the streets are relatively calm.
A magical place to be specially when you live in a small town. All the people the happening events and the music. Wao, it can't get better than that.
It's true what they say New Yorkers never go to sleep. The street hustle here is real and I was just blown away by the busy life.
It was so fun visiting Times Square. Always great doing some site seeing and seeing the skyscrapers. The lights in the city were truly beautiful and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Will be back in a heartbeat. New York you've been great... hahaha
Awesome place. You will find all people all around the world. Lighting in night view looks awesome. i have been visit that place twice and it still not enough.
If you are visiting the city for the first time you need to go to times square. This place is something different. And don't forget to see the deal for Broadway shows. On the corner of 47th a d Broadway is Broadway last minute centre.
Loved the place but gotta beware of costumed people feigning friendliness and wanting to take pictures with you, they will extort money from you after and may get aggressive when you refuse...
Lot of crowd all the time, flashing lights, lots of stores. You can find anything, not the cheapest but any means but it's there. Besides, very easy to get there, and not far you can find Central Park. Of course, you are already in Manhattan so it's easy to get to any interest place.
Visited with my 13 yr old grandson at his request during a lull in the Corona Virus pandemic, which meant few tourists in town. No lines, no waiting, no crowds; it was amazing! My grandson appreciated the self-guided audio tour while in the museum. He was just a little disappointed he couldn't go up inside the statue because it was closed.
It's amazing how much life and information flows on the streets and in the air here. Visit to experience the vibrance and colors of being alive in tech advanced times.
Very fun place, especially at night time. Around with a lot of people even midnight. Many good activities but only thing I don't like that is few people on disney character costumes keep forcing people to take photo with them so they will "ask" you for tip.
Love it here !! Especially with the tree lighting ceremony and all the places to shop and eat . Amazing views too
Review from a resident New Yorker. Times Square should definitely be on your list of places to see if you are a tourist. There are tons of places to see and even more things to do. From shows to stores to restaurants and bars there is something for everyone. While you are walking around don t forget to look up and take in all the world famous advertisements. Be sure to walk up and down side streets and catch the hidden gems that most people forget about.
New experience good, but everything there is expensive.
It was everything I expected and more! I will admit, it was pretty busy and touristy but I'm not surprised. That kind of thing is to be expected when you visit such a popular tourist attraction in one of the busiest cities in the country. It was still a lot of fun and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone. I would suggest eating somewhere else though if you want to avoid crazy long wait times.
Good place but every time so busy last time I went there at 2 am was busy but good place
Time Square is a staple wonder for those who enjoy that city feel. Massive screens everywhere with more advertisements than your average YouTube video. Street performers are usually here and there is almost always something happening down there. Never a dull moment at Times Square.
Very Cool. You don't realize how massive and manic this place is until you go there. I felt like i could see Godzilla or the stay puff marshmallow man come around one of the buildings at any time. It was awesome to say the least.
I love New York is the place to be a little expensive but you got to pay for what you want
There is a different buzz than in the rest of the city. Visually stunning and so much to experience you'll need more time.
Good to see it once, but definitely not a place to hangout regularly - way to many people!!
Vibrant, buzzing spot. Must visit at night. Watch out for the comedy club touts, lovely to start with but got quite nasty when we politely refused to go.
So lively place. You can find many tourists here and in night best view. big places are here like Madame tussauds

Just impressive place you can see in the movies. London's Piccadilly Circus x20. Much more impressive and extended than what people think before visiting it Really one of the most thriving place on earth much better to enjoy all the screens and nightlife vibe at dusk than in the morning or daytime. Beware pick pockets and remain safe even if the police is widely present. A must-see in your life!!

It s beautiful there but I had to remove a point for the amount of people. And there was also a guy who even tried to pick a fight with me smh
Times Square is an amazing place to visit! With its big screens, it's almost perfect to take photos and selfies. Though it is very busy at sometimes, so I recommend you walk and if you have a hotel too close to Times Sq., it's a problem. Walking is the best route. So Times Sq. is 4/5.
I love all the bright lights and interesting ads... as a student majoring in Interactive media and learning about graphic design, illustrations and typography... it was nice to see all the different ads.
love it. its a joy everytime I step there. there is always something new. God Bless everyone that step there foot there
Fun place. Lots of shopping if that's your thing. Great place to take some photos.
More like time rectangles because the buildings are rectangles and so is the street. Geometry 1001 new york.
Significantly less interesting than it seems. While the pretty lights and ads are cool for five minutes, that's about it. Shopping in a mixed bag. If you consistently visit malls, you'll have a great time, otherwise, there's not much else. The only interesting place for kids is the Disney store.
The most famous - city, or place out of all the places in the world? I have heard this place is the mostly shot corner in the films ever shot. Maybe, but for me the exciting thing was the ever glowing ads and billboards which mesmerised me so much first time that I ended up with shoulder pain. Also, it is like the food and culture of the entire world is getting pot boiled here, which itself makes a unique smell to this place. Technically, I bet I would be happy to live here [if not snowing or raining] under the sky and without any internet connection because the entertainment never gets shut off here.
I feel New York is too crazy for me...especially when you go to Times Square
This place will make you feel energetic
Very crowded but totally worth it! Overwhelming for kids-plan a rest afterwards
Awesome place. Love it. Cant wait to come after Covid :)
Great place to walk around and shop, eat or just take in New York. Sunway stops are plenty here. Amazing that the screens are on all through the night. Performers on every block in the evening. Must see if going to New York.
Absolute madness but if you ve never been a NYC must do. It s a happening lively place with excessive amounts of people, hoopla, lights and chaos but it s also super cool just to see and be in that experience!! Tons of restaurants, shops and things to do!
Centrepiece of NYC and a must visit at dawn or in the night. It's amazing how crowded it gets in the night but that shows how popular this place is with locals and tourists alike.
Excellent place to snap all the diversity in the world. A small sample of the entire world in a single frame. A plethora of of choice for all kinds of cuisines if you are into food.An excellent place to just people watch and wonder what the busy world is up to.
Times Square is pretty cool to see in person, especially after seeing it in dozens of movies, shows and the annual New Years Eve celebration they host with the amazing concerts leading up to the countdown. The advertisements everywhere and the midnight light-show certainly matches how it s portrayed in the media
However, the crowds are a bit overwhelming and there are a lot of scam artists operating there (People dressed in famous cartoon/superhero characters pulling you into photos and asking you to pay them after taking a photo with them).
Times Square is definitely a must visit for a first time visitor to say you ve been there, but it gets a bit tiring after the first time.
The most iluminated place in nyc, a los le propone there!
So much to do in New York! This place is visually stunning, especially at night. All the lights and billboards are just amazing! What an experience.
It looks so much different in person than on the TV screen. It took me 19 years to get there and it was worth it. Such a cool place with awesome stores to check out!
Love it and lots of fun activities like ice skating and site seeing even the event called (the line) was open during the pandemic
