just taking a walk here feels nice, unless its crowded. :/
My favorite place to shop in nyc. Everything from souvenir shops to forever 21 here. Lots of great restaurants too. Great during the day or night.
I just love the excitement of Times Square & New York City in general! Just spent 5 days in Midtown Manhattan...can't wait to go back!
Sights and 911 Memorial were great. Never take Hop on Hop off bus tour, driver was drunk!!
A great place to visit on Holloween.
Outdoor food vendors and lots to see.
Go there once because no one will ever let you live it down if you haven't done so, but really, you'd get about the same experience in any modern American Shopping mall. Every store in the square is a massive multinational brand with nothing particularly unique about the Time's Square location aside from their size and rent prices.
The crowds are too big, the food is too lame, and the lights are too bright. Big giant MEH from me.
What can I say about Times Square? Well, spend some time there. It is full of interesting street performer. Take a seat and watch the world go by. People watching is the best. It gets crowded so keep an eye out and don't lose each other in the crowd. Also, this is where the TKTS booth is. You can get same night Broadway tickets here. BUT as you wait in line have three choices ready because when you get to the counter your first pick might be gone and the attendants are in a big hurry so be ready. The stores around Times Square are fun and entertaining. So have a great time in one of the most iconic NYC places one can visit.
Situated in Manhattan, Times Square can be reached by Times Square Metro Station. Worth seeing place for dazzling lights, advertisements on each and every wall of the buildings and shopping areas. There are seating and dining areas to sit and enjoy the place. New York Police office is just at the metro station. Must see place.
If you're in the neighborhood, it's worth seeing. Hang out for a minute. Window shop. See a TV show being filmed or listen to a busker. Read news headlines off the side of a building. Immerse yourself in a completely built environment on the scale of a natural wonder. Count taxis. Look at the crowds. Wow. Cool. Can we go now?
Definitely a good sight for someone not used to the city life. If driving be careful of where you park and at what times. You wouldn't want to get a ticket. During the weekdays everything closes around midnight. Make sure you clear out after that time bcuz all kind of "strange" people come out of no where.
Brooklyn Lager, every kind of person in the world, TKTS booth for reasonable prices tickets to Broadway shows. Only wish they would get rid of the costumed characters.
Everyone should visit here!
Just because it's Times Square. :)
Nice place, many people, lot of restaurants and shopping..
I love time square there are a lot of talented people I go to a lot of restaurants in this area its do beautiful there you could go there everyday for a month and still not finish all of time square. Prices are usually higher so I'd bring some money if your looking to buy food. But there are a lot of amazing cites all around time square would defiantly recommend it.
A VERY GOOD PLACE FOR SPENDING SOME QUALITY TIMES IN NYC.
Yo I became a super tourist over here! I should have a cape. Here are some pictures...
This was a fun visit. I had never been to NY and since we were in NJ at a wedding we took the train in on a friday night for a few hours at Time Square.
It's pretty and incredible the first time you visit, but overwhelming the second time.
Looks great at night, but you pay NY prices for food, and the monitors are all ads. I get enough of them in my life.
Fantastic location, excellent customer service and amazing people. What can I say. This place is full of life. Been there a few times and every time it s been lively. Does anybody needs to review this place?! Its awesome and a place that never sleeps. So much fun... everyone has to go at least once in their lifetime. Speechless
Just like the movies and tv. Spectacular! A bit congested this time of year, but well worth it.
So Surreal and Crowded during the Holidays.. Beyond Beautiful None The Less.. I Can't wait to Visit again..
Lots of places to visit and it is a sight to see from the red stairs to Dave and busters there is always something to do and see u will never bored here just beware there are a lot of tourists here so the street are full of people be careful with the children
You gotta see it to feel it. Almost nothing as crazy as this place!
We saw it only durigg the day but still it make a great impression. Really recommend
Nice place to walk and to get involved in many cultures.
Enjoy views, Street food, music and much more.
Accesible in public transportation
Awesome place at daytime and at night of course.... Incredible feeling to be here.^^
Pretty crowded and overrun by tourists, but still a must do for your first visit to Manhattan. You prob won't coming here twice if you're not on the way through. It's easy to reach, almost every subway line is going through. Just get of 42 street which is the closest subway station.
I was shock that traffic was not as usual. Few people walks and check the city. A lot of stranded tourists, here because they cannot leave home.
Getting there at 7:30am and to see the lights with little pedestrian footfall was amazing. Had no issues at all and actually felt safer on time square then in London. Only issue I would say is there is limited public restrooms
Amazing place with the eletricity needs of a village. Time square is the simbol of new york for many reason and the simbol of a decadence but still has an attractive and beautiful side for the millions of people that want to walk this iconic place
One of the coolest place in New York. It never sleeps, you can go anytime and you'll find it buzzing with noise. If want to take the New York bus tour, it starts and end from here. Giant screens showing ads add colours to already colourful place. One must visit this place at different time of the day to experience different shades of the place.
So beautiful! There's a lot of people but no rudeness and pushing going on. The food trucks are wo delicious and hot. Lots of places to sit and relax. Looking forward to our next visit.
Large crowds and terrible smell, but still something cool about being in Times Square
I always love going there. Every time it makes me feel going first time experience - more updates on my IG @TravelGooRoo
Times Square was fantastic!
It's been over 20 years since I had been there and a lot has changed yet lot it stay the same. It was fun to see it again.
The "Magnificence of illumination" of Times Square the crossroads of the world.
To witness its total splendour, must be seen at night.
Always had many outstanding restaurants, from burgers to fine dining cuisine. For great Sea Food, the best place is Bubba Gump's, believe it or not, it's often overlooked.
And the clubs and bars have always been exciting.
Also the best place to purchase Broadway theatre tickets @ red tkts booth in the heart of Times Sq. Only four stars for safety and kindness, we can do much better
Hey always just loved the energetic experience of NYC .
For a more relaxed atmosphere, walk up town to Central Park.
The place I love most in NYC.
Especially, Belvedere Castle and Shakespeare's Garden. NYC

It's a beautifully vibrant melting pot of culture, food, stores and eccentric people. A genuinely unique place both in atmosphere and asthetic. A must go, on any tourists schedule with visiting New York.
This is the place to stay at if you go to NYC. Many things within walking distance to include the Empire State Building. Broadway shows also within walking distance to include the daily sales for shows in Time Square. We stayed at the Mariott there which was very nice and convenient. Also had a Starbucks downstairs and beautiful views of Time Square at night from the terrace restaurant and bar.
There are so many premiere shops to choose from in Time Square and an open square where you may possibly catch an occasional act or show. Rockefeller Center is also close by. Did not really experience any bad food. Excellent known restaurants for fine dining and just regular Pizzaria s! Would go back in a second!
A good place to tuck of your NYC list. Had a lot of eatery's around. Would recommend trying out the Frozen, School of Rock musicals around here. Also you can get tickets to Comedy club around here.
Price is decent they view was breth taking and the service was great. But wish they had a better view poin to were the fence is not in the way
Great place! Lots to do and see. Can easily walk to neighboring popular places such as Rockefeller Center and Bryant Park. Be aware of pick pockets though.
It's Times Square folks, what else is there to say? All the hustle and bustle you're looking for, day and night! Prepare for the endless stream of ticket pushers and costumed characters charging for photo-ops. Food truck sampling galore!
Times Square is a must-see when visiting New York. The bright lights, the crowd it's just an incredible feeling when visiting. However, if you don't like crowds this would not be a place for you. There are food vendors, discount tickets for Broadway and Off-Broadway plays.
If this is your first time to NY, you should experience this place at least once. It can be a bit overwhelming and the crowds are consistent throughout the day. It is a fun place to people watch. Just be aware of your surroundings and if you take photos with the people on the street in costume, make sure to have cash, they will want tips.
Well, Times Square is nice, with a lot of shiny billboards but way too crowded for my liking. It is someting you don't see everyday and you should visit, but just once. Around Times Square are a lot of shops where you can browse for items.
Amazing things to see.. ...... So many shops . so amazing makes you feel like you're in the center of a movie or something
Always great to visit. It is so strange to see how empty of people the streets are.
Exciting, exhilarating, enchanting as only Time Square could be!!
Amazing vibe. Especially if you re stressed out and just wanna get away from negativity, this is definitely the place to go. The beautiful colors and amazing lights. Best to go at sundown.
I mean It s New York I love the city and the people there s a lot of places to explore restaurants, coffees and shops,But I can t lie it s smells and there s too much homeless people all over the place .
What a fantastic place, ultimate shopping destination. All brands have their presence here. Latest design, cheaper price
Unbelievably busy! As you'd imagine! But honestly mind blowing.. Pictures do not do it justice
Always been a busy spot of the city, a tourist attraction with famously renowned franchises you can think of. Not a really big fan due to the extremely crowded touristy scene.
A must see if your visiting for the first time like I was. An hour or two is all you need, just walk really fast and pretend you know what your doing and you ll pass as a local! The day I visited wasn t to bad but the next day there was an insane amount of foot traffic!!
It's breathtaking. There are no words to describe it, you can only experience it. It's very very crowded but I take that as part of the experience. Take your time and remember to watch street performances too. Also, watch your belongings diligently.

Very cool place to visit. Get to enjoy the big city life for a bit.
Fabulous place to be in, really a different experience to see so many ppl from different ethnicity and nationality. Gets really crowded in the weekends..but it's all cool seeing to many ppl just seating and walking around. Lots of restaurants of different cuisines nearby..caught a hop on hop off to see a full view of the new york night.
Exciting place! Full of people from all around the world. Full of light all day. Highly recommended at night time
Many attractions and amazing views! Just be sure to bundle up during winter! Halal food carts are a great inexpensive food that shows an amazing part of NYC
During the summer I think is the best time to go because the cold breeze kills you are used the cold weat
Personal speaking. Me as a traditional style of person.Times Square means illusion and vanity. everything you want from Times Square. People everywhere, a gathering place of nations. Lots of artistry if you take a look around. I always enjoy sitting on the grandstand and people watching. My advice, don't just look at the screens, take some time to watch those around you. It is pretty entertaining. Don't even bother trying to find parking near here, too expensive. My advice, park outside of Manhattan and take the train in.
Times Square is a place of wonder in experience. Worth every trip you will ever possibly take here there are plenty of quality stores, shops, merchants, & vendors to choose as apart of your Times Square Experience. The people attending are interesting & intriguing. Our Supers are a definitive value plus+
As a first time NYC visitor, Times Square did not disappoint!
It's a wonderful place to be on a beautiful day like today, everyone look so happy...
Everything you would expect! But I would have to say when you look at Times Square in the TV for NYE it looks large but in person so small. So it seemed. Big of course since it s in the city but so much fun. We sat and people watched while we sipped in our fresh fruit smoothies made by a smoothie cart. It was my birthday so I was in full tourist mode hahah! Oh! And I met Naked Cowboy!!!
This is one of my favorite places.
Probably this is one of the biggest power places by humans.
Super exciting and cool!
I wanna go on regular times.
Really nice to walk around at night plenty of store and restaurants
The rain on this day didn't distract our visual enjoyment
It is a nice land mark of NYC. Its atmosphere is really great and fast paced.
Fun and bright, no matter if its day or night, holiday or normal day, 3 am or 3 pm, its always alive.
Time Square is really a great place to go to, not that quiet there's a lot of open space.
Really cool place, take the subway, lots of shops, foot locker is right there, pretty safe.
Awesome place to see a big crowd.. be careful with the kids though..
What a remarkable center of a city. Locals avoid it and tourists love it, but even as a local I still go through from time to time to marvel at the lights and all of the people. Stop at the M&M shop or the Disney store, or even at H&M and just take it all in!!
