One of NYCs mai man sites that just needs to be checked out by the visitors. It is of course extremely touristic and the shop here offer not much more than the standard souvenirs. But yes, how could you miss out on a place like this?
Beautiful site to see. Great place for a stroll and pictures. Multiple theatres, restaurants and music. Even better around Winter time.
The amount of creepy characters trying to touch you and your child is outstanding. Otherwise it's one of the busiest places ever, so there's that.
Is the middle of the World !!!! You find the world in few Blocks
My husband's office is near TS I was there everyday and I'm still Loving that place
Breath taking experience on new year and Christmas. Love time square
Great place to visit even though I'm a New Yorker and am always here. Only reason I took one star away is for it being so crowded and a little dirtier than I'm used to in the burbs. Always have fun in times square though and the shopping is great.
Great for site-seeing. TONS of People! We loved our visit.
It's a stunning place to visit especially if you're a Manhattan first-timer, however if you don't go at the crack of dawn it's crazily busy. From my impressions, it also isn't the safest place in the world judging by the fact that I saw a lady shoplifting from Gap and an active drug dealer in a span of 5 minutes. Beware of the scammers in costumes dressed up as movie characters - they are almost definitely going to force you to give them money.
Times Square is always an exciting feast for the eyes with its flashing, dazzling neon. At Christmas, the pizzazz level moves exponentially higher on the scale of WOW.
Every second in Times Square is radically different. Every corner you look something else is happening. Always on the go.
It s great for tourists. But can get very overwhelming.
The lights are undeniable. I ve taken portraits there at night and didn t even need a flash!
Delicious food but just a little to pricey , so it's four stars for me.
If you are in New York, then this is the place you must visit. Too many attractions around this place. And more than that it s vibrant with people filled with enthusiasm.
You could get a splendid view anytime of the day or night. It s fully functional whether it s noon or midnight.
Do have a visit!
Great days lights in night, must to do in New York. Where night never sleep.
We had a great time, we have stayed in NYC many times but never stayed in Time Square. Everything is easy to get to , restaurant, theater etc. Just be prepared to walk bring comfortable shoes.
Always iconic, never boring, people watch or do your own thing. The lights, the people, the stores, (sometimes the smell!) And the food. It is different any and every time you go. And you should go. Make it a bucket list checkoff.
Go there...don't dare miss out on this! So much fun!!
Even with covid, it's still regular downtown. Just don't be surprised if you don't see social distancing.
What is there to say but it's Times Square! Even on a cold January evening, great to stroll and people watch.
It s always super busy but it adds to the atmosphere and makes it New York City. I recommend avoiding taking photos with any of the characters there as they are creepy and to be avoided.
World's most visited place. The place everyone wants to visit. Well overcrowded but amazing. You can find ppl from whole world.
Such an amazing place the atmosphere and sights are amazing
Always fun..all needs are met with so many things to do. Food entertainment etc..
Love this place! We went in a late hour around 12am on a Tuesday great to take pictures. The only thing is that there's a lot of female church preachers, we were polite to listen the first one but after that 5 more came asking the same thing and that was annoying.
I've seen it in the movies - it was better: more lights, more buzz, more ... American. (It's not really a square - more of a road.)
The most beautiful, romantic and entertaining place for joy, meeting with people of different countries and marketing.
I loved it, there is always people there. It doesn't matter what time it is, it's seems like it's always daytime there.
Much safe for pedestrians now. NYPD in force and heavily armed! Felt very safe. Clean and fun.
Great place, a lot of vibes. Very crowded. The only place to make some nice pic - red stairs.
Most popular place in Manhattan New York . Full of fun . People from around the world are coming to be part of this area's evening. Lights and lights crowded , full enjoyment of shopping and explore the life.
Times Square is a major commercial intersection, tourist destination, entertainment center and neighborhood in the Midtown Manhattan section of New York City at the junction of Broadway and Seventh Avenue. It stretches from West 42nd to West 47th Streets. Brightly adorned with billboards and advertisements, Times Square is sometimes referred to as "The Crossroads of the World", "The Center of the Universe", "the heart of The Great White Way", and "the heart of the world". One of the world's busiest pedestrian areas, it is also the hub of the Broadway Theater District and a major center of the world's entertainment industry. Times Square is one of the world's most visited tourist attractions, drawing an estimated 50 million visitors annually. Approximately 330,000 people pass through Times Square daily, many of them tourists, while over 460,000 pedestrians walk through Times Square on its busiest days.
Wonderful place to visit. Lots to see in the square. The photography stage is a great place to take photos
Very busy place - light everywhere, people chatting, screaming, yelling. In short, never boring, always alive!
Nice place for exploring I been at night so .I did discovered much but night life is amazing
Best to visit in evening when there its dark. The big screens and asvertisement lights keep it fully bright with different shades of color. There are lot of people all the time. It perfectly gives you feeling like you are in heart of a big city. There are lots of stores around there. When you are in NY, u cant miss out this place.
I wish I was from New York City I love time square awesome experience
Cool place, lots of stores and restaurants to visit. A bit overpriced but still pretty to walk around. I could also do with less strangers trying to sell me stuff.
Excellent place for social gathering. At night many people of different culture gather together, enjoy music, lighting or just to see. I just love the gathering which is full of lives.
Pick pockets, thieves, thugs, hookers everywhere, and yet this area of the city so represents what America has become: the rich and the poor. Businesses here take your hard earned money while the struggle of life continues. Small mom & pop businesses are rare here, very commercialized, yet you can still buy a hot dog from a street vendor who will never afford to buy from any of these commercial businesses that have flooded the area.
It was just awesome! All these people in one place and I felt more at home there than I sho in my own state capital
Time square. Always a lot of foot traffic. Don't get scammed by people handing out CDs, comedy tickets, dressed up characters, monks, and many others. Just walk around enjoy the views and take photos. Many places to eat and shop.
The Legacy Location in the New York city since the early times. Good time to watch around 6-8 in between. you can see the time square both on day light and night.
Definitely a tourist area a lot of shopping opportunities.. but since the pandemic a lot of homeless are crime sorry..
Keep your loved ones close. Lots of action and distractions could easy get you separated. See some ads. See some protests. See some costumed characters. Grab yourself a Reese's. Then move on.
Great location, central; had a great time being a tourist. Plenty to see, eat, and take in. Definitely a must if visiting NY.
Iconic place, one you can't miss when in NY. Amazing!
Time Square is a must!!! When visiting New York..there is always plenty to see and do, after people watching and enjoying the free entertainment (don't forget to tip) step inside one of many restaurants to enjoy a meal or cocktail!
It has been about 15 years since I last visited time square and my it has really changed. It is more pedestrian friendly and a lot cleaner. There were lots of places to sit in the center to just absorb everything in. NYC never disappoints!
Absolutely amazing, a must see during your lifetime.
Amazing to see times square! It was my first trip to New York City and I enjoyed every minute of it!
Nice place not much negitive to say except it's always way too busy.
Fun to see while in the city. Very busy but a pleasant experience.
Its amazing, I've been twice and ill definilty keep going back.
It's just so nice and bright. Loved walking around and watching so many buildings with so huge screens all lit up 360 degrees around you.
You can also sit on the red stairs and just relax awhile watching everything and so much all around. Enjoyed every single moment I was there.
Life will never be the same because of covid19. The Square is completely different now. Just the homeless walking about
Good stores to shop , around and look at the building.. recommend the m&m world store.
Times square NEVER sleeps. We rode thru times square at 2 am and it was full of people! There is NOWHERE to park a dually truck. Parking over night in the parking garage is close to $50.
It's always cool to be in times square. There is always people from all over the world visiting and enjoying the scene. Always a extremely exciting and cool vibe.
It was my first time in Times Square as well as my first time in New York. I have never seen so many people at one in my life like that. It was a great exsperince. I loved it!
Times square at night is the best. It's really colorful and vibrant.
Wild and crazy atmosphere. Ppl dressed up like superheroes and other characters taking pictures lots of shops.
The crossroads of the world. One of the most exciting, exhilarating locations on Earth. I prefer to go at night.
Great atmosphere really fun highly advised and also please like this review if you ve been to time square before.
I don't think my review is necessary to give this place a thumbs up. But man you gots to be here if you come to NYC
Very busy, yes. But with the mass amount of colour changing, hypnotic billboards. You don't mind the bustling crowds.
Just a wonder of the world created by man. Absolute peach. The view is really really ammazingg! Had one of the best times here with friends!
Never seen that many people...It's best at night ...must see..
It's always fun to see someones first reaction to the place. Took my youngest daughter for the first time and she was wide eyed. Very fun time.... this particular day though they had "nude art" going on in the middle of the street. Came around the corner of Macy's and my 7 yr old was introduced to wang for the first time...even though it was artistically made up. I could of done without that.
