That's to be expected in New York at Christmas time - I might suggest night time visits would be more impressive if you're coming in December - you'll be able to see the lights - it's a bit more charming and even pretty at night - there's more sights to see then . But Times Square is a must see place if it's your first time in New York . Don't be afraid to step off the beaten path and check some of the neighborhood out too .
