One of our favorite date night spots! The paella is amazing, and after 4 years we have yet to taste anything we didn't love. Mussels and crab mac and cheese are our go to apps! Love that they change the menu up every few months, but we always end up going with our usuals My husband always does a steak and we never have leftovers. Lol

We went there for our anniversary and were very impressed! The meat and cheese plate was great! It uses meat from the Smoking Goose in Indianapolis whick happens to be my home town. They have very few rivals in the cured meat game. The tuna appetizer was equally amazing. The entrees were cooked to perfection. The chef came out to introduce himself after our appetizers. He was as friendly as he is talented. I highly recomend Bar Bistro.
I dine here often, female staff there are so greeting and awesome even the cooks. Not stereotyping but it seems like sometimes the male staff have a bad day. I still eat there the food is good the drinks are cool and tasty the prices are really reasonable.

So delicious! Our server Michael was awesome and so polite. The food was fantastic. I had the lamb and my husband had the burger. The lamb was perfect! I also ordered a side of collard greens and I'm so happy that I did. Random area of Midland but highly recommend that you try this place. We will be back. Can't wait to try more dishes.
I took my Mom here for a birthday lunch. We had the BEST filet magnon I've ever had. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The dinner salad was practical in that the dressing was tossed in along with a crouton crumble and parmesan shaving. If you are "in search of the perfect bite", this place is for you.
Our server was busy with a large party but kept us well taken care of including special requests we had.
Weird atmosphere. It s confused what kind of bar it wants to be. Food wasn t great, don t get the mussels. They were fishy and might have been old. Bar tender not that great either, he was lazy. Would not recommend at all.
Very tasty food and super friendly staff. I recommend trying the Bloody Mary, they call it the Bloody Meal. The parking is free and there is a lot of seating inside. This place was a bit deceiving, there is a lot of industrial complexes around it, but it sits in the middle if it and was a very nice place for oir business dinner
The Mac and Cheese with chicken was great, but avoid the lava cake!

Steak and fries are fantastic. The fries come with a chorizo gravy on top that is really good. I was skeptical if I'd like the chorizo, but it really is good.
This is my second visit. In for drinks and dessert. The Campfire cocktail was delicious - an adult chocolate milk with the added yum of toasted marshmallows. All the staff we interacted with were pleasant and the atmosphere was low key - just the right vibe for a quiet date night without the kids.
Good quality food and drinks. Menu is good and can be viewed on your phone using your camera and the link. Elk sliders, crab bisque, and potato gnocchi were all good. Will be going back in the future to try more dishes.
Awesome service and amazing food in a great atmosphere. Jake was our bartender and he was awesome. Eric the owner/operator was in while we were there and he was extremely friendly. We truly appreciate seeing an owner working to ensure that guests had the best experience possible. This was an overall wonderful place.

Driven by this place many times never gave it a second thought. Was chatting with a friend about paella so I googled it and this little corner place's name popped up. The paella was perfect and the fried brie appetizer was divine!

2nd visit complete opposite of our 1st, we sit @ bar, the bartender throws menus @ us & I say something to her & she says obviously you guys have been drinking somewhere else so I'm not going to be able to serve you, was told the owner was not in so we left, never to return. NOTE: our first visit was an absolutely incredible experience it's a shame that one person can spoil that

Wow! Everything here is amazing. I've had the salmon, the mussels, the mac n cheese, the crab bisque, the Cuban! The drinks and the deserts and fantastic as well!
Food was AMAZING!!! We had the spicy shrimp and fried brie appetizers, shared the paella and roasted romaine salad entrees. The dinks were super tasty too. It's a bit pricy but worth every penny.
Outstanding! May not look like much on the outside, but it's very modern and cozy inside and the food is fantastic.
4.5 stars. They made it right when I told then there were shrimp shells in my creole dish. Great food and service. Dark but clean bar atmosphere. Loved the music videos and subtle bass from the sub. Bathrooms clean. Good craft beer selection but they don't have taps.

Ordered lobster rolls and they were good, but I ordered Mac cheese and fried crab, but! they are out of Mac and cheese. Bummer!
Came in with my mom for dinner. We both ordered the Cuban Sandwich with fries. The spicy ranch she ordered for the fries definitely had a cool unexpected kick with out being over the top spicy and good flavor.
The portions were great and the sandwich for me has been the closest to the Cuban Sandwiches I ordered while in Miami. Definately will be back.
The staff was very friendly and the place had a great vibe.
Only thing we were a little set off was were the prices but so far the food seems to be worth it.

The food was delicious! The bloody Mary's, made with in house mix were fabulous. The sweet potato fries are thicker and very tasty. Service was excellent. We had a hard time choosing from the menu as everything looked great.
Love the happy hour street tacos and mac & cheese at Bar Bistro. Add a nice glass of the house red served by an awesome lady, Jillian, and we've got a great wrap-up to a Friday night!

I met a stranger in a bar a few months ago, and he mentioned this place. So today I was in the neighborhood and decided to try it out. Absolutely fantastic!!! The owner/bartender was super knowledgeable of cocktails, having worked in Vegas. My lunch was excellent, and the (several) cocktails I had were expertly crafted. Thank you stranger!!!

The tacos were ok.. the bean concoction that is served with them literally looks like a dog left it there (if you know what I mean) and tasted like nothing. The "molten lava" cake was very disappointing. The cake was bland and the "chocolate lava" was more like chocolate frosting. The server was very nice, but the kitchen must be understaffed because the 2 items we ordered took over 40 minutes. Needless to say, I will not be returning.
Amazing food in a fun atmosphere. The burger is the best around and the roman salad is different, but sooo good. Great prices too. They also offer a gluten free bun for the burger!

The staff is professional and friendly and immediately upon entering you feel welcome. Very clean and worth getting out of the house for a 5 star meal. The food is phenomenal and we will definitely be back to enjoy this hidden gem in the near future! Highly recommended to anyone looking for great service and great food!
The food here is delicious and they have great drinks. The location might not be ideal, but it's a gem once you know about it. The Bloody Mary is like a whole meal. Fried brie is one of my favorite things. Every time I've gone, the service has been amazing and friendly. It's definitely worth the trip.

The old Circle K restaurant, new owners and a slick renovation. The overall feel is more modern and good prices, great food.
Wow! This was a recommendation from a friend and I am so glad we went! We did curbside pickup which was very convenient (and safe). The food was abundant and delicious! We had the lasagna (HUGE portion!) and the gnocchi which came loaded with vegetables. We will be returning very soon!
If you haven't been to Bar Bistro, go check it out! The chef/owner has excellent, creative dishes on his menu, and a nice atmosphere. It's easy to drive right by however, due to no curb appeal.....(they need some Bistro tables and big flowering hanging pots outside!) But the food is wonderful, and service is good too.
I can't say enough how much I love this place! Have been here a few times with my husband and came here for my parents anniversary last year and have had a great experience every time. The food is excellent, the drinks are delicious and the staff is very friendly and professional. We have been here when it was slower and also when it has been busy but had just as good of service in both circumstances. This business knows how to treat their customers well and will have my business for a very long time. I always leave looking forward to the next time I get to come back.

Can very crowded but drinks and food are par none! You can't compete with such amazing cocktails and dinner items. Loved this place since they opened can be spendy but VERY well made drinks and worth every penny. Upscale cocktails and drinks its something you would find in downtown tacoma not parkland.

Bar bistro has great food. Some of my favorites have been their sweet potato fries, crab bisque, lobster roll, street tacos, and beignets. Some menu items rotate so it s always helpful to ask what is seasonal.
Country service meets urban restaurant conceptuals, at suburban prices. 16 Oz prime rib for 33, that's 45 at Pacific grill. Only place to get a respectable paella
Edit: Added a star because though our experience was not good, I appreciate the owner taking responsibility and time to respond. I will give it another try and hopefully will change to a 5 star!
The bartenders don't care, the kitchen doesn't care, didn't meet the owners but I'm assuming they aren't around or don't care if they allow their food and drinks to be of that quality. It's a shame because this could be a cool place. If you want quality food and drinks, head somewhere else.
A true hidden gem. Service was amazing and the food was even better. We will be back.
