I think Bangalore is one of the best airports in India equipped with latest technology such as contact less screening and paperless security check in which makes it technology efficient in true sense. Currently Kempegowda International Airport (KIA)'s other wing is under construction which is being constructed besides the current one. It will take another two-three years to complete I guess. The current airport is already huge but Bangalore airport is very busy I suppose. That might be the reason that they are extending the current airport to accommodate more traffic in the coming years. The surrounding area is also beautifully developed. It has flowers and beautiful trees all around which looks amazing from outside. There are number of shops available for shopping for all age groups. Which makes it very vibrant.

A long drive from Benguluru city. Highly spacious airport that can handle large number of passengers. Good looking airport with friendly staffs. Delay in landing and take off may be caused due to large air traffic.

One of the best & busiest airport in India. Well infrastructure. All facilities are there. Eateries & cuisines has more options. Staff is supportive. Lot of time wasting while standing in que for hand bag checking & scanning. Pleasant ambience. Toilets & floors are clean.

Have maintained expected standards of frequent fliers, more improvised scanners for boarding passes verification must be introduced immediately!! Passengers are getting hassled due to malfunctioning of them same when reaching for connecting flights

This is the third busiest airport in India located around 40kms from the city centre. In terms of connectivity, it has all major national and International flight service. On amenities, there are a lot of options to eat and drink. In terms of hygiene, this is one of the cleanest airport I have seen in India with good floor tiling and regular maintenance. It doesn't take much time to check-in and security clearance because of well-planned servers and you can reach your gate normally within 15 mins.

Great and clean. Except for the very distance to get to it, this is one of the best airports in India. The bus and taxi service is good. The free WiFi lasts for 45 minutes and is super fast. The interiors are super cool and well maintained. The toilets are clean. The security are helpful. The food available inside and outside the airport is good. Even the baggage handling is good and not very crowded.It takes nearly 90 to 120 minutes to get here. The traffic can be worse sometimes. Better to start early...

The third busiest airport in the country (as of 2020). The ambience in the airport is really good and there are a number of duty free stores and other outlets for shopping. However, I would say this airport definitely needs a new terminal because the existing terminal is kind of saturated and if one wants to board an early morning flight, security check takes forever. Edit : T2 construction has started in 2019 Edit : Took a flight from here after the resumption of domestic operations after COVID-19 pandemic : There were stickers on the floor for social distancing and everything was contactless. Washrooms were cleaned frequently and digital payment was accepted everywhere. Sanitisers were kept at every counter and there were several kiosks for self check in and printing boarding pass and baggage tag. The stamping of boarding passes was also ditched. Overall, airline and the airport management have done a great job. In this aspect, this aiport is definitely better than CSMIA and IGIA.

One of the best airport in India. The airport is located in outskirts of city centre and it is well connected with public transportation system. KSRTC low floor a/c bus is available from the Kempegowda Bus Stand. Otherwise, service of cab aggregators such as Uber and Ola can be availed. During the entry to airport, the baggages would be screen by the security guards. Later on you can check-in and board inside the flight.

Staffs are good airport are neat and clean but far away from city Airport buses must stop in one district center at night time so that female travelers may board the flight easily and without any fear

Almost 30 km away from the city so cab is going to cost around 600 to 1000 depending on the availability. Size of this airport is not that big compared to others in India. Best part of this airport is that the food court is not only on the inside but also outside the airport. There is Smoor, MRP liquor store, Barley and Grapes, Subway, Chaos, Hatti Kappi, Udupi Grand, Superdry, CCD, Starbucks, The Gourmet food, and several other stores for food and shopping. Yeah it's expensive for shopping but a nice getaway just to get tea or coffee on the airport a long drive for night with friends. I visited today (24/09/2020) and realised that the private parking is shifted from its usual spot so now we need to walk almost 500 m to reach the airport terminal. This is because of the new terminal being built alongside. Ola and uber cabs are available at there usual spot. I won't recommend airport taxi as they are expensive that other cab providers. Swiggy takeaway point is also there if you want to order before. This airport is not that crowded around 9-12pm and at night after 1am till 4 am. I have visited here for more than 50 times for domestic and international flights and also just for the coffee . They take all the precautions for the ongoing pandemic of covid 19.

The place is very neat and clean, social distancing is maintained, staffs are friendly . The aerodrome is very big in size, hand sanitizers is placed everywhere , dont worry about eating all the shops are open inside it. You have to first scan your identity while entering, then second they will scan your boarding pass and ask you to show id proof. Then there is a self service kiosk enter your details and get your boarding pass and baggage tag, then proceed to check your baggage weight then , go upstairs and again show boarding pass and id proof and keep al the electronics item in container for checking, the. Go through a metal detector scan , and voila you are done with boarding process and dont worry if you have chosen middle Seat they will give you a ppe kit, but its better if you carry your own and go.

Great infrastructure and really fast paced services. I would rate this as one of best airports I have ever visited. Plenty of seats for both the passengers and other people accompanying them. The location of the airport is the only downside as it is located around 35 km from the city. From technical standpoint the location is perfect but in terms of practicality of a common man, the location is surely a downside.

Good place with all sop's taken care while at carona

Nice Airport, strategically placed in the outskirts of Bengaluru. Cabs and buses are plying 24 hrs. Buses are cheaper than Cabs. It's a clean place and lots of eating options available inside and outside of the airport. All the area surrounding to Devanahalli is growing fast.

Never seen such a clean and biggest Airport in India. Very well maintained.

A well designed and well managed airport of international repute. I had been here twice and both the time I enjoyed the comfort it offered to me. In the shortlist of best five airports of Asia, I would like to choose KIA always.

From the entrance, my heart couldn't stop saying a word, Beautiful! Beautiful! Beautiful! The baggage dropping and security check-in was hassle free. All the covid norms are being followed properly on airport. The airport looks neat and clean. The airport staff is helpful!

Very well managed, proper sanitized and all the process from collecting boarding pass to bag tag is touch free, so contamination chances are minimal. Lounge is pretty good and feels the quality of food needs to be improved. There are many other food joints inside airport which are well managed and serve good quality food. All in al good experience.

This is an International Airport of India in Bengaluru. This airport is mostly passenger- friendly. Though a large number of flight passengers travel through this port but it is mostly clean and hygienic round the clock.

Good arrangements. But the shield provided by go air was very irritating and was hurting a lot. There was no foam on tge head.

The service and efficiency of the airport has improved alot with all the safety measure's I had a great time at the airport

The Airport authorities need to be a lot more prompt and strict with respect to the social distancing norms. Specially while boarding the bus for the flight. The count should be limited in the bus during these corona times.

Well maintained and staffed with strict security measures. Has ample waiting areas but get crowded most of the time. Can wait in the lounges which are mostly not that crowded. Good and clean surroundings and neat rest-rooms. The only thing that I find tiring is the check-in and baggage check which is not fully automated as the airport in Hyderabad. Even though there are many baggage check counters it will take very long for the process. It is in serious need for some automation.

The restaurants are average. Nothing like Delhi IGI.

The KIAL airport in Bengaluru is quite big & clean, well maintained. the premium lounge is too good compared to other domestic airports. The staff of the airport are really helpful & it accommodates both domestic & international port with well equipped facilities.

Great service at the BLR lounge. The staff are very polite and they keep you well fed. I don t think I ll be eating on the plane.

It is one of the most well maintained airport I have been to. The airport is very beautiful and clean. There is a lot of parking space available, across multiple parking lots. The airport is well connected to the city by BMTC volvo buses. However, the airport is quite far from the city. There are restaurants and pubs right outside the airport.

Kempegowda International Airport is the third Busiest Airport in India and one of the top 50 busiest airports in India. The airport has got the best Infrastructure. It's boasts of a terminal at present and a 4000m long runway. The airport is on expansion as the 2nd terminal is being built with a new runway being added. It's simply one of the best airports in the world.
