Before arriving, I was concerned as several reviewers had indicated problems with shabby furniture, stained rugs, etc. I saw no sign of this. Wear on the furniture was normal, rugs, sheets, and towels clean, housekeeping was thorough and professional. They charge for wireless Internet, but if you are a Marriott Rewards member (registration is free and can be done on the spot) they remove the charge on checkout.

The room was snug, but the sofa converts to a fold-out bed, making it a good fit for a threesome who are considerate of each other. A party bunch might find the room a bit cramped, but we were good with it and found it very quiet after hours. Having a substantial refrigerator in the room was a definite plus as we could buy or bring food for breakfast and lunch and then splurge on dinner in the area. (Pratt St. Ale House, a block away, is a must-go.)

I give the front desk high marks for friendliness and willingness to help. The location was hard to beat, and reasonable parking on site was another plus. I would certainly stay again and recommend it to others.

Pleasant medium upscale Marriott located on the Inner Harbor. Good access to transportation (bus runs right past two sides of the hotel.)

Easy walking to excellent restaurants as well as historical sites.

This location, while incredibly close to OPACY, is starting to show its age compared to other Marriott properties in the Inner Harbor area. While its bones are getting old, its staff remains top-notch.

Great place to stay in Baltimore! Friendly staff and extremely helpful. Location within walking distance of train station and uber and lift pick up points. Parking $30 per night but in deck that's monitored secure deck. Pizza at restaurant was fabulous!

Very disappointing!

Very disappointing!
Staying here for 36 straight days on business. No offer of breakfast or any amenities. Severely disappointed

This was the second time my mom and I stayed here. The first time was great. This time was even better. The staff was wonderful. I woke up to a dead battery the day after we got in and they did everything possible to get my battery to jump. When it didn't an employee drove me to advance auto to get a battery and put it in my car. I was there for a my mom's cancer procedure and had to be at the hospital early mornings. I don't know what I would have done with out there kindness and help. Everyone that works here are so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and I feel very safe here. We will see you again but hopefully not for 6 months this time. Hope to find out any day.

I had a very positive experience at the Marriott in it was very comfortable the beds the sheets for clean it smell like bleach very clean fresh out of the wash I had a attended to clean my room everyday refill my coffee box forever my supervisor my coworker had an extremely negative experience so we were sent to this hotel by our company and there was a Miss information that went on and which the woman who receive that information and who was in charge of Distributing this information was not there when we arrived and she was on vacation at this time so we had to stand there and plead our innocence about us having our credit card on file anyway we woke up the next morning they gave us a break and said that they would deal with it and by 12 p.m. that everything should be finalized there was more drama on that and we still don't know who was at fault with it rather if it was our company or there but this woman was not there who received the email that gave her and the hotel our credit card information so we went through this yet again my supervisor received the room that was too twin beds and I received the room that was king size we were on different floors of course and I would definitely recommend however just make sure that you cross your t's and Dot your I's

If you want to stay in this Hotel do not try to get a room at night the front desk person is just rude first time it was bad second time I decide to do my reservation ahead of time online and stop by the hotel around 6PM to get my card key to return later so I didn t have to stop by the front desk person after hours but unfortunately my key didn t work when I returned and for some reason they charge my credit card twice when down stairs (front desk) employe just ignores me for 5 mins after she only said Hi do you need anything? To which I replied
yes my key card does not work and my credit card was charge twice I had my key card in my hand with the room number I was about to hand them to her when she just said the card was not charge twice and I need the room number she said this while looking down at her desk not noticing the card with the room number that I was trying to put on her desk so my wife said the room number and I apologize for the inconvenience and explain to her that I will be back to fix the issue with the double charge at a later time I just needed to get in the room at this point the employee just looked at me and said I can fix your key I was not mad or angry but I was so tired that I didn t care and I told her that thank for her help and to have a good night to which she replied yeah sure have a good night I won t put her name on this review but please I m a frequent customer and this is the second time that the same hotel location just gives me a bad experience

Place is a rip off. The room was dirty, watch the neighborhood and the panhandlers hanging on the corner.

They charged me $12.00 a day for internet/phone access (I checked email on my phone, once..) which I was told on check in that it was free under my convention price.

Marriott and this hotel refused to remove the charge after I contacted them telling me they offer no free access/phone service.

Will avoid Marriott after this bad experience.

Rooms are clean and well kept. Beds are comfortable minus the pillows. Bathrooms are clean, but the the rooms are slightly outdated. Location is close to lots of food and the stadium. Overall nice hotel.

Great location and great hotel. Very modern and clean. The self serve happy hour is nice touch. The rooms are very clean and well kept. Just note when leaving property take a right away front the strip club. Especially if you have kids that part of town I would guess at night not so safe. The Inner Harbor is easily walkable as there isn't much around the hotel itself.

Everyone was very professional and well knowledgeable of any question that was ask of them. We came to my sister-in-law funeral service. And brought along her 2 sisters and my husband from Virginia. They could not stop talking how please they were with everything. Both were in there 90's . I am grateful for the time spent there. Also my husband and I did our honeymoon at Williamsburg Marriott.
Once again thank for everything.

The bed in our room was broken, but the staff immediately moved us to another room, and we appreciated their quick attentiveness. The air conditioner in our room struggles to cool the room. Other than that, the room is very nice and the staff is polite.

What a bunch of horrible reviews on here. I was worried after reading this crap when my conference hotel reservation got switched from another hotel to this one. I have stayed in a lot of hotels, and this one is great, particularly the staff. They are attentive and really pro-active in making the experience great for the guests. The room is clean, modern and large. Workout room is smallish but adequate with filtered water, complementary towels on every machine and complementary oranges. The lobby is large with plenty of seating, a concierge and a security guard. Negatives include understaffed restaurant/bar which closes a bit too early and no free wireless in the rooms (it is free in the lobby). This is a solid hotel with outstanding staff. Not a five star hotel, but a clean modern and well equipped four.

Huge hotel with wonderfully large rooms. Very clean rooms however in need of some updates. Coffee maker in room. Close to lots of city life activities with lively on property eating and drinking options. Parking on property is $29 per night and under cover with convenient elevators on each level.

This is the first hotel that I have been to in the past 10 years that makes you pay for WiFi (unless you have or make a Marriot account). Seems like that are trying to shake you down for a service that comes standard at 99% of hotels across the world in the 21st century. Also, they advertise in the rooms that the Fresh Bites are offered 24/7, but if you ask for room service past 11 PM, you will not be served. Overall this hotel seemed to be offering a discount service for a non-discount price. I would not stay at this hotel again when there are comparable hotels nearby with better amenities.

We called for new blankets because the ones we had was dirty, they never came. We informed them of our dissatisfaction the next morning and they had the housekeeping manager stood by. She told us she would bring us new blankets, she never did. Our remote didn t work neither. So we couldn t watch tv the entire stay. I asked for a room upgrade because of my rewards status, she told me none wasn t available , even though she never looked. I never complain but this room was horrible. Very dissatisfied.

Hotel was a little disappointing visually, rooms were clean. Located in a nice area in the city, two blocks from Camden yards, four blocks from the inner harbor. Breakfast in the morning was good.

Expensive, terrible service. Parking has a ridiculously high fee, I've never stayed at a hotel that charged for parking. On top of that they charge an outrageous fee for WiFi. Will not be staying here or recommending this hotel.

I was here for a Conference. I was not impressed with the way the conference was set up. Food was served in the hallway with vendors set up and people trying to walk. The setup made everything congested.

This is a great hotel very conveniently located to everything worth while in Baltimore. Only footsteps from Camden yards and easy walking distance to the inner harbor. Make sure to check out the Pratt Street Ale House!
