A mini cab business that doesn’t take advance bookings? I was arranging a cab to take some guests to my wedding Was advised to call back nearer the required time. When I did was told a cab would be with me in 15 minutes, 20 minutes later I received a call telling me no cab was available, so none would be coming. Fortunately one of the guests was a regular UBER user & was able to arrange a cab in minutes. This is the second & last time this company has let me down I will never even contemplate using them again. I would also recommend they install toilets for their drivers, as I’m sick of them wading through the pools of urine at the end of my road.

Like another reviewer I had used Bailey Gardiner for decades. They were always terrific. But they are now truly dreadful. Basically they have been taken over by another company (Goldline) and their drivers know and care nothing about the area. You don't even usually get to speak to a real person when you book and when you do, they haven't a clue who you are any more. All this might not have mattered but I have now TWICE been stuck in a cab with a driver who hasn't a clue where he's going. The second time I needed to get to Whipps Cross (a 5-10 minute journey from my home) to follow an ambulance which had taken my husband in 30 minutes earlier. After swerving around a bit the driver set off in completely the wrong direction, on the main road north to Chingford! I simply got out of his car and went to a rival firm, luckily within walking distance. I finally arrived at Whipps in the nick of time to find my husband being transferred to Barts for emergency surgery. It could literally have been life and death - fortunately he's survived. I shall never, ever trust this firm again and have removed their details from all our phones.

Went into book a cab because I was in a rush.

Rude controller too busy having a long conversation with a customer.

Called phone number to book a cab rude person who answered the phone wouldn t send a cab from outside the office.

Called another company from outside and rude controller started shouting at me.

Have lived in Highams park for 46 year and have used your service regularly will never use again.

1) I booked a 22 seater coach not being advised that it was a 22 seater with the driver, so one of the group had to stand the whole way.

2) My son called the driver at 11.30 to check everything was ok before leaving the venue, the driver told him he was going to be late, to call the office.
He called the office to be told the driver wasn t going to be late, so they left the venue to head off to the pick up location.


The driver that eventually turned up, over an hr late had no driving hrs left, so drove to Hackney and then had to wait another 30mins for another driver!!!

The kids got home eventually around 2am!!!

This is not except-able leaving people stranded like this, I totally understand running a bit late and forewarning them, so they'd stay where they were and stayed safe, but the service they ve received from you has been appalling.

And sending me an email at 1am this morning, which I m not going to read was irrelevant!!

You left a group of kids stressed and a group of parents really worried!!

I ve contacted you twice with no response not even an apology!!!!!!

What has happened to this place? I used to use this cab office regular called up today in the evening and some rude no mannered git answered he shouldnt be allowed near a phone never mind being allowed to speak to customers, I decided to book with another cab office after speaking with him so one more customer you have lost, Find yourself someone that can speak properly or be prepared to lose a lot more customers in the future.

Phoned BG today requesting a cab for following morning to Luton Airport, only to be told that I can't book in advance. I was willing to pay with my card over the phone. I was told to call back 1 hour before I intended to leave. The bloke I spoke with sounded like he couldn't be bothered.

Instead, I decided to give Mount cars a try, because they have good reviews. Not only did they organize my cab, they took my payment over the phone, and even messaged me confirmation by text.

Why can't BG do the same. They have in the past.

The controller needs to get basic manners, i'm assuming he may of been born in a barn. They need to change the controller fast, so rude it's unbelievable - no way to run a business. no wonder mini cab stations are now a dying breed.

On 12/07/18 we ordered a cab for 3pm to take a group of us to our daughter's wedding. We allowed ourselves plenty of time because of the school- run traffic. At 3.10pm the cab had not arrived & we were told that we had booked it for 3.30 pm! ( Not true). The cab arrived at 3.30pm, expected us to run across a busy main road to get in it & when we got in the seatbelts weren't working but as we were then in danger of missing the wedding we boarded. This was our biggest mistake because 1mile from our home the driver drove over a traffic island, seriously damaging his vehicle & almost doing the same to his hysterical passengers. After we climbed out the
car the driver said nothing and drove off & we were left stranded. When we contacted the Bailey Gardner office they simply said they had no more cars available. Eye witnesses said the driver appeared to be asleep at the wheel. I will never use this company again & certainly do not recommend them.

For the second time I have been left in complete shock by the rudeness and aggression of their drivers. I decided to give them a second chance after complaining the first time hoping it was a one off but they obviously decided to do nothing More

Booked a can on Xmas eve to go to Essex for the break... 2 hours before the pick up time. The car never turned up and when we called the office m, the phone was off the hook.
Not the first bad experience, last tine the driver was aggressive with other road users and when I mentioned it at my destination he became rude and confrontational.
Do not give your money to these jokers.

I have used this company for absolute years and a very regular customer but over the last few months they have gradully become less and less reliable,half the drivers dont even know where to go and thats using a sat nav!!!!!!
Then last cab driver i had refused to let me take my pet in a cage in the back with me that had just been bought and tried to get me to put in the boot where it would of been bounced around and scared to death.
Will never be using this service again.
