This is a must visit when you are in Greenville. It is in a strip mall, but don t let that deceive you. The food is absolutely amazing. Everything is from scratch, even the ketchup. The brisket was delicious, as was the salad with fresh blackberries peaches and barbecue pork. We had the lima beans and they were the best lima beans I have ever had. Try it. We love it.

Always great food.

Always great food.
Homemade type food, good for foodies. If you love bacon this is the place but also lots of options sans pork too. Good cocktail list as well.

Excellent food, service, knowledgeable staff, and highly accommodating and innovative chefs. A shout out to sous chef Kristin who came up with wonderful GF onion rings on the fly. The little details of the place are great: wonderful, deep booths, homemade ketchup, very soft cloth napkins. If the great music had been less loud, it would get 5 stars.

It was my first time eating here and it was amazing. I brought family here to eat while visiting, and we ordered one of each of the meats and sides to get to try it all, and the platter that came out was impressive. The food was all to die for. All the meats were smoked great and the sides were just as great. We had cocktails with dinner and those were delicious too. The staff was super friendly and made sure we were taken care of. Will definitely be coming back again!

""You don't understand. I'm eating a ground bacon burger, topped with bacon, pulled pork, and an egg. It the most American thing I've ever eaten. "
My mouth had an organism. This is not food, it is a culinary experience.

Great food with excellent service. Another perfect suggestion from Google. Low key atmosphere with the smell of smokey meats. My son's grilled cheese was adult worthy and will order next time as an appetizer. The smoked chicken wings are a different take then regular fried wings and a must order. All plates came with a mountain of fresh cut fries. Big selection of craft and local beers. They also serve brunch and the menu looked interesting but we all ordered lunch items. Service was fast and we were well taken care, very family friendly!

My favorites have to be the Pimento Cheese and Deviled eggs (savory and delicious). The Pimento Cheese with homemade crackers is the dark horse who steals the show. Pimento cheese with diced bacon nestled in what I believe is a savory onion jam...Crazy Good. The What makes the deviled eggs so nice is the little shot of pepper and the crown of thinly sliced ham.

Entrees only come in one size...HUGE.
They have a curing room where they age there locally sourced meats (Gray Court I believe).
PBR is affordable (as it should be) and there's a great selection of dark spirits.
Eaten there dozens of times and have never had a bad meal.

TIP: Call to make your reservation no later than Wed if you want to eat during prime time on a Saturday or a Friday.

The Bacon Brothers Public House makes it's own charcuterie. They also make their own corned beef. which is combined with griddled house-made sauerkraut to make an excellent Reuben. Oh, and they also do barbecue. The potater tots have puilled pork in the tots themselves. The bacon popcorn is very addicting. The meat board presents decent portions of the chef's choice charcuterie with accompaniments.
The draft beer menu is presented verbally, which makes it difficult when you're trying to remember the options. A printed sheet would make life easier for us beer geeks.
A great stop, and fairly close to the Greenville/Spartanburg airport.

Judging by the other reviews I'm "the one" but here goes anyway. I ordered the classic chicken with mixed greens as a side and a house salad.

The house salad was too dry so I asked for more dressing. Big mistake. The dressing was so thick and heavy I overused it trying to get an even coating on the greens. The flavors in the dressing were so powerful I couldn't eat the salad.

As for the chicken the dish was not hot. I tried to eat it anyway. Sent it back. A fresh one came back 5 degrees warmer than the first. The chicken was warmer than the broth. I can't figure that out. The brussel sprouts and sweet potato/turnip were warmer than the vidalia onion which was room temperature and tough as a bamboo stalk. A raw onion would've been softer. The pecans and green leaves used to garnish were room temperature. The orange segments were cool. I've never had a dish where each of the eight ingredients had its own heat coefficient.

The dish was bland as well. Each ingredient had its own flavor but together they just didn't work, the broth was absolutely flavorless.

So that leaves the greens. They were quite tangy. So much that I couldn't enjoy them. They were heavily peppered too.

I hear the BBQ is good.

My daughter and I went for lunch. It was our first time in the restaurant. The hostess and servers were great, we were seated almost immediately and it only took approximately 10-12 minutes to receive our food. We both ordered the BLT and we were so glad we did. The huge slices of bacon were layed on thick slices of melt in your mouth bread slathered in mayo, topped with vine ripe tomatoes and lettuce. I don't think I will ever eat another BLT anywhere else ever again. I can't wait to go back.

The ambiance of this place is so warm & inviting. Right up my alley! And the food.. YES! I took 1 bite of my burger & was in heaven! The staff is nice and the server we had, was well educated on the menu and cooking process. The ONLY issue I have is how the menu is designed. The sandwiches don't include a side, so you're paying, just for the sandwich. Then it's an extra $2 for fries, $1 for chips. The only reason I didn't take it down to a 3 star for this, is because, everything is made in house and that extra topping, bacon or pork product they add to the sandwiches takes extra time and money to prepare .. So in a way, it's understandable. I have seen other BBQ places do this & I understand.. I just wish they'd include it. It makes it seem like they're getting 1 over on you. Mainly because, I don't think I've ever known anyone to just order a sandwich... But that's just me.

This place is good, they put backhand pork almost everywhere and that is amazing! The taco snack is amazing, but I've tried better briskets. The French fries with the bbq hash are great!!! Almost everything is home made and it is farm-to-table!

My son and I visited Bacon Bros this past Saturday. It was, hands down, one of the worst dining experiences either of us has experienced in Greenville. Service was abysmal, the food was... mediocre? To top it all off, the menu doesn't offer a lot of choices. If you're only in town for a limited time, spend your time somewhere else.

Just stopped in at 5:30 on Memorial day. No one there. Wasn't a good sign. No specials on food or drinks. At 6 o'clock, the waiter came to take our order. He said it would be 30-45 minutes before the pulled pork would be ready. It's a bbq place. They had no one there! Are you kidding me. I paid for my $6 beer and a small glass bloody mary-$10. I will not be back.

Went on Saturday afternoon and they were busy. The food is actually pretty good but it was too greasy for me. If you have a gall bladder you will probably get through the meal without much discomfort...also, the prices are pretty high!

With a name like that you don't expect vegetarian choices. But they have. Great soups and salads. And if you are a carnivore that's the place to go to. Great service, great atmosphere, great food.

I was not sure what to expect from a little Strip mall food place... But the place was awesome. Bartender was top notch, very polite and just the right amount of eagerness to tell me about the menu (and it was not the same "recorded message" she gave the guy 3 chairs down). Food came crazy fast... I got my devil dust egg not 30 seconds after I finished my order...with my burger <10 minutes after order. Food quality - amazing. The deviled egg was probably the best one I have ever eaten.... especially with the devil's dust that lit my lips in fire. The burger was easily one of the best I have had - cooked perfect and with their artisan bacon that did not disappoint. Can't wait to come back!

The burger here is hands down the best I've ever had. I always though a burger was a burger. Even when people would rave about other burgers, I always thought it was just another burger. Bacon Bros. is not just another burger though. So damn good. A mix of brisket, ground beef, and bacon. Unbelievable. Everything else I've had there has been amazing as well, but now I just get their burger.

Voted #1 in Gville for a reason - THIS PLACE IS THE BOMB!!! Cure their own meat, fresh produce and supports local farming. The food is A+, staff are all really cool and engaging. You can't go wrong with this restaurant! Try the Deviled Eggs & Pamento Cheese! Also, not on the menu and they have from time to time - pork skins. Go check'm out!!

Excellent, REAL BBQ. Everything from the sampler was on point. They must have someone in the back running a quality wood fired smoker because you won't get BBQ like this from a commercial electric smoker. Brisket was perfectly cooked. Ribs and pulled pork were tender. Sausage was the best I've had so far.
