The grilled cheese, brisket sandwich good and spicy. My wife had the BLAT and it was delicious as well.

I once loved this place, but we went tonight and they had changed their menu. Got rid of a lot of stuff that we enjoyed having. Hopefully they change it again!

This is what they mean when they say 'hog heaven'! I maybe shouldn't be writing this right now as the ribs I just ate, accompanied by a soundtrack of Alabama Shakes, Lake Street dive and Percy sledge, and washed down by great beer, was SO GOD DAMNED GOOD I feel emotional! Those. Were. THE BEST. Ribs I have EVER eaten! #F**kFranklins!

A great place to eat! I ended up getting the weekly special sandwich at lunch for $5, which you can't really beat. The sandwich was a pulled chicken with cole slaw on it. I also had the pimento cheese with bacon jam appetizer which was just as amazing as the entree. They have a decent selection of beers on tap. The environment is rustic, warm, and inviting. A couple of TVs to watch whatever games are on. Definitely, keeping this place in mind when I'm back in town.

Food was great! Took a really long time to get my food, but service was personable and professional. Cool environment and clean.

Awesome combination of ingredients & flavors. The great variety in the menu gaurentees there will be something to satisfy everyone's taste.

OUR SERVER WAS A GREAT GUY BUT THE FOOD LEFT A LOT TO BE DESIRED. MY SONS AND I GOT THE SAME THING, SOME KIND OF BREADED CHICKEN ON 2 BIG PIECES OF BREAD. THE CHICKEN BREAST WAS REAL FATTY AND NOT VERY GOOD. I'M SURE YOU HAVE OTHER ITEMS ON YOUR MENU THAT ARE BETTER BUT I WILL NEVER KNOW BECAUSE I WON'T BE BACK.

Never had the chance to experience. Sat at my table for 7 minutes, never saw a server until I got up to leave. Poor service to say the least. Moe s Southwestern Grill across the parking lot very welcoming...

I wish i could rate this place with less than one star. $45.00 for the worst meal in my life. I would be embarrassed to open the doors to the public.

Great spot for a neat atmosphere and some flavorful food

I just loved the meal. I had the special of the day fish and chips. The fish and the sauces were delicious. That salad with Sherry vinegrette was delicious. The waitress was very good and had some suggestions since I had never been. The ONLY reason I did not give this a 5 star.... It was way too expensive. It was a $17 lunch plus tax and tip. That is way too much!

1st time . Had a great time. Served fast , great food ! I was surprised how good the food was. We ll go back. We also went to An axe throwing place near by that was cool.

Over ten minutes before a server greeted us. Ribs tasted like eating ashes from a campfire. Many selections were unavailable. I certainly won't be back.

Customer service is prompt and courteous. Cost is a bit high, but we'll worth the money. The food is fresh, cooked just right and good presentation.

Pricy but worth it! The best brisket I ve ever had from coast to coast. Also, the deviled eggs are the best! Service is amazing! I highly recommend! And on Thursday they have live music. I got the brisket, loaded fries, and greens.

Casual place with inspired, thought-out menu. Great modern take on southern casual cuisine with lots of Pork obviously. Missing a star because we had a Pork Chop that was under during only visit. Will return.

This place was slammed full on a Friday at lunch time so I spotted two empty seats at the bar and we made a beeline for them.
The lone bartender was swamped with customers ordering food at the bar and also filling drink orders from all of the waitresses.

We started off with the housemade cornmeal battered fried pickles and they were hot and delicious,the sauce had a nice flavor as well.
Then our chefs choice charcuterie board was served,the 5 selections we were served were fresh and very good.I do remember we had a lamb pate as well as prosciutto,rillettes and some pork belly bacon that was very good.
I also split a chorizo with the husband that we could not finish as it was overly spicy and jalapenos on top,we enjoy the occasional spicy dish but this chorizo dog just was not our thing.
All said we were inside over an hour and a half just for the simple items we ordered.
Yes we will return just not during the lunch rush time.

The atmosphere at the restaurant was quaint and quiet, with low hanging lights and wooden construction throughout. Decoration is graceful, and an overall beautiful setting.

The food is excellent, and a rotating menu keeps the location fresh each time you visit. However, the service that we had from our hostess Shanna was what really pushed Bacon Bros to a 5 star rating. She accommodated all questions quickly, and was incredibly friendly and efficient. With her help, our dinner came out balanced and delicious.

Too expensive for the amount of food you get. 2 regular sized sandwiches and a mason jar of bacon popcorn was $40 plus tip (side note: $7 for a mason jar of popcorn which was way over-caramelized and had about 5 flecks of bacon in the jar is a rip off). I gave 3 stars because the sandwiches actually did taste pretty good and our waitress was quite attentive but for what we paid, I was disappointed and won t be returning.

Came in 2/21 & the restaurant was pretty much empty. The hostess decided to sit my husband & I in the far back corner behind a wall. I asked her why she sat us back there & her response was the next server was up & that s his section. She sat us somewhere different with an attitude & I asked to speak with a manager. The hostess went to gossip about it with the other servers in a huddle & they kept staring at our table. After learning that sitting a certain population in the back corner behind a wall is not policy, I immediately realized our experience was driven by the personal views & full action of the hostess. The MOD did apologize & tried to compensate but having such a racial driven experience caused us to not eat at this establishment.

Update 3/3: I have not heard from the owner, so maybe this is a common practice & example of the views of the ownership as well.

2nd Update 3/7: I received a response from the owner who acknowledges they saw my review, and apparently doesn t know how Google works if you update your review. They have decided not to take ownership of my experience & has proven to enable this type of behavior by making excuses. There are also other reviews that have stated that this establishment has been discriminatory against them. Focusing on the reviews of other establishments doesn t help yours.This is a classic case of deflection & denial. Bad leaders often focus on blame not solutions. Check my Yelp review for their response since the owner is continuously updating their response to this matter.

Recently came during Happy Hour. Waited patiently for a server to ask me what I wanted and I replied, "A manhattan with George Dickel." I've been drinking this about a year at Happy Hour for the price of $3 as this is their house brand on sale from 4-6pm. Sometimes I would get up charged $1-$2 for the Manhattan or Old Fashioned. I thought that was BS, but whatever. This goober said that I had to get the $9 menu Manhattan "because it's essentially just liquor." I'll gladly never return since employees obviously have no standard/consistency.

Really like this place. Good variety. Very loud but to be expected since so busy.

Have yet to not enjoy a trip to Bacon Bros. The menu is always changing, as well as the great draft selection. The short rib is one of the best things I've eaten....ever. The restaurant itself is always nice and clean, and there is an awesome, huge back porch for larger groups. The meat plates are also always different, and always delicious. I highly recommend this place! Also, bring back the bacon brownie!

Keep your hands to yourself!

Our table was waiting but service was SLOW. Waiter was condescending and argumentative and kept patting my shoulder after I told him to keep his hands to himself!

I feel like I'm a little piggy when I eat here. You are not on a diet when you go. Friendly waiters and bar staff. Fresh indulgent food. Great drinks.

It's difficult in these times to rate a restaurant with all the restrictions. The outdoor are was clean and presentable. The staff were wonderful and pleasant. I had the Ruben with fries. The sandwich was average, meat was on the tough side but very tasty. The fries were heavenly, best I've had in years.

You've seen the other reviews. I am here to confirm what you've already read. It's delicious. I've had the breakfast for dinner, the Brussels sprouts, the braised greens, the bbq sampler, etc. etc... They have all come out fantastically delicious.

They're well stocked bourbon bar makes for a killer Manhattan too. The bartenders are top notch and can put together magical concoctions.

Service was great. Good beer selection and fantastic atmosphere. However, The food lacked flavor and the up charging was ridiculous.

This place kills it every time! Please don't overlook it.

All around great experience. Our hostess and server were both friendly and helpful. The food is consistently good. The BET, recommended by our server, was incredible. The brisket plate included a great cut of meat and I got the pimento cheese grits and fries. Both sides were delicious. The portion sizes are generous, so it's worth the price! Don't forget the bacon jam pimento cheese app. It is to die for!

First time here was for their Oyster Roast event. Wow! What an amazing time! The food was delicious, and with as many people that were there, I am honestly suprised they didn't run out of food. They kept to their advertising word that it was UNLIMITED! Staff was super friendly and it was a very well organized, well laid out event. Again! It was crowded, but plenty of space. Cannot wait to come back to try the regular menu.

Title: Limited menu, overpriced, small portions and average taste - not a good combination

Review:Tried for the first time with 3 adults + 4 kids on a Thursday after work and was disappointed. Atmosphere is okay and servers weren't particularly helpful. Menu is somewhat limited - a few sandwiches, a few entrees, moderate selection of appetizers and a lot of beers/wines. Sandwich prices were ~$12 without a side (add $2). Ordered lone burger on menu, with fries ($14) and it was pretty small, side portion was decent. Tasted ok but not impressed. Kids meals ($6) but 4 tiny chicken nuggets were lost in the fries - I literally had to move the fries to find them. Chicken wing appetizer was not very good... kinda weird taste. Overall, I would not return or recommend. I should have known considering the place next door was packed but Bacon Bros was not very busy at all. There are far better places to try.

Our visit was right after Christmas and they were very busy! I'm not much of a drinker of alcoholic beverages, but the food was very good! My son was visiting from Miami and his in-laws were visiting from Fort Worth. The staff was super nice and we really enjoyed our meal and the comradery! My son's in laws were originally from Kentucky and they stated that this establishment served a whiskey that was bottled in their hometown! They loved it!

The staff was very nice and really matched the quality of the food. A great place for lunch and much more than you would expect. Make sure you check out the meat closet.

Five star service from Isiah and a manager we didn't get the name of, but she was great as well. There was a pretty major issue with our order but Isiah was quick to respond and very apologetic about it. Stuff happens, we weren't upset in the least but he ensured that it would be fixed immediately, which is was. Food was great after that! We were checked on several times after that just to make sure everything was good. The manager was kind enough to come over and offer us a new dessert they had which was absolutely outstanding. Over all it was a great experience from wonderful employees and we really appreciate all they did to make it up to us, even if we weren't angry to begin with. Will be returning soon for the great food, unique cocktails, and outstanding service.

I love Bacon Bros. It is one of my favorite, if not my very favorite, restaurant in Greenville. There are not many amazing restaurants on the Eastside that I would say are comparable to food you can get downtown, but this is definitely one of them. If you go, definitely get the Bacon Pimento Cheese Jar appetizer. It is TO. DIE. FOR. The saltine crackers that come with it are even homemade. The atmosphere is cool and hip. I always have had great experiences here with the staff. And I absolutely love their burger and fries with their homemade ketchup. My family has a lot of other favorites, but those are my top two. No matter what you get from here you can't really go wrong.

What a great menu! The pimento cheese & house cheese crackers were delish, as was the popcorn appetizer! Had the slow roasted pork & ghost pepper jack cheese sandwich with brussel sprouts for my meal, and it was incredible & very filling! It's definitely got some heat to it, but it also has cheddar & they'll leave the ghost pepper jack off for the less tolerant palates. Fantastic meal! I'll be back soon!

Really cool atmosphere! My issue is the food and service is just fine, but not as good as you'd expect for the price.
