I would just like to say that the the service I received today at B& Q Nursling was Excellent.
The young lady who helped me is a credit to your store.
Her name is Caitlin and she was working in the paint area.
Her manner was polite and cheerful and I was able to purchase everything I needed.
At this time when people are only too quick to complain so I just wanted to say a big "Thank you"

It's a big B & Q, so it's got pretty much everything you will need. Just be sure to budget some time mentally to wandering around to find your items. If you need to ask a member of staff a question, pick an older member of staff, the youngsters are a bit useless in my experience.

Apart from not finding a very good selection today...

Apart from not finding a very good selection today in bathroom fittings, when I asked advice from several members of staff, about various products, I felt that most really could not care less about helping. One lady who I overheard was very upset that the paint colour she had just used on her new kitchen had been discontinued. She had damaged a wall and had no paint to touch it up with. What can I do she asked and both assistants just shrugged and turned away. She asked if there would be any in other stores and they just said no all gone.
I was not impressed ,especially as we are being told that shops are suffering poor sales, you would think they would be pulling out the stops to make customers feel valued and stop people buying online. The one advantage over online is to be able to seek advice personally and if they can't be bothered then why should we.

Arrived 8.50 and it was easy to walk around. There is social distancing but it does only cause issues if people are browsing or trying to find items and you have to wait for them to finish although it's not much of a problem.
We got all we needed plus there are lots of plants available but not much compost.
At checkout you pass your trolley to them and step back 2M they go through your shopping then ask you to come forward and pay with card.
All in all a good visit and the Brucy bonus, the burger van in the carpark is. open and they take cash and card

B&Q is the go to place for all your DIY needs but on this occasion it was frustrating because a small plastic shed we went to buy that they had in stock was not available for delivery but they could deliver a wooden one, what's the difference between box A & box B of the same size, makes no sense! Trying to support local stores but they are not supporting us! Ended up buying from Amazon yet again and could have saved an hours driving!

Poor staff, made to feel like a liar, kept waiting then no apology when the price was found to be wrong at the till. Must say it was like a shop that could only attract staff on a Sunday that in truth could not be bothered. They should spend a day at the Fleetsbridge Branch to learn . Doubt if I will return.

Not always the cheapest but generally well stocked and well laid out. I would personally prefer to buy timber from a timber merchant rather than any DIY stores as the choice, quality and prices are better. Also check online with Screwfix and Toolstation as they are often cheaper on some of the same lines as B&Q. Having said all that they are still a great store that I use regularly.

Couldn't arrange a p*** up in a brewery let alone mix some paint on a Friday evening myself and 5 other customers waited over 25mins for someone to come to the desk even after 2 trips to customer service. I'd advise having 1 person who has to be on the desk at all times.

Brilliant service here over the weekend. Came to pick up a full bathroom suite and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The people who looked after us were Gemma and Mary and they made the whole process very easy.

Huge store with a wide range of everything. Staff are enthusiastic and helpful but some are not particularly knowledgeable, make sure you get the right person from the right department. Beware the self service tills, they are truly hopeless. I have never once made it through one without intervention from the staff resetting errors etc.. Stand in the queue for the tills manned by people, it will be quicker and save your sanity.
