Unhelpful staff - most times I've been here. Obvious Paddy surcharge when prices compared with Britain.
Not much interaction from sales assistants but we did find everything we were looking for
Just got a mitre saw in their store recently and i love it. I wish i had bought a bit bigger in cutting the width of the wood so i used its precision lock handle and reversed the 8 x 1 to cut through and it worked a treat and also for picture framing for my pics and art work. Thanks BQ.
Staff very helpful and very friendly. A wide variety of items such as house hold such as showers, Baths, kitchens etc. Lovely atmosphere here. Their is a lot of parking spaces.
Very difficult to get staff to help out. Was stuck for a door that I couldn't get in my local DIY center and ventured here as it was on the site. No luck though
Very convenient, nice staff. Some things such as screws, nails etc can be pricy
It's ok. Be wise before you buy what you need, shop around. Some things are at great value, some way overpriced. Staff could be more helpfull. At the end of the day its diy store, so at least basic advice could be given to customer, rather than read instructions on the pack, customers can do that themselves.
Over priced poor quality, you are better off going to an actual builders providers like Cork Building providers, Dwyers Electrical, OB plumbing etc
Easy access friendly staff. Good range of goods. Got what I wanted
Appalling..staff working there couldn't give a monkeys. Asked 2 ppl for help in what i needed and was told "Sure I don't know go up to aisle 8"...wow.
B&Q is good for most diy items and the staff are helpful but if anything goes wrong it's always the customers fault
Poor help from staff, left without purchasing what i came to buy.
Change I was there used card reader, now one clean that after me, but the have plastic cover on that can be clean after costumer use!!!!
Bit short in stock at the moment great store well laid out
Thank God there's a B&Q in Cork. There are lots of things to see and the staff is nice and helpful, but the showroom could be improved. Browsing around it feels like you're in a warehouse and not in a store... but I guess that's kind of normal for this kind of shops. Bad note: Irish people can not place orders online if not through the store itself
Quite good variety of products, but miss one star, because quite often lack of stock
Very pleasant staff. Ample parking. Great range of products.
No crowds helpful staff and friendly check out down side is low on stock of kitchen taps
As B&Q's go this one is just okay. Layout not great. Not enough staff.place is a bit drab.
B&Q, stock low on some goods. Due to imports and covid restrictions.
Staff were helpful and attentive. Staff did approach me and offer to help. I also felt I got value for money.
Good stock and lots of option for both Professional or DIY enthusiasts.
Great store, amazing customer service, will find you all what you desire, and if not an exact match, will find other items to substitute the needed one.
They have a great stock and very knowledgeable staff. Nice place to shop when it's not too busy. Some things can be a little expensive.
Social distancing etc, not followed, or encouraged.
Good shop, most of the goods are well priced. I was able to buy everything for home painting in one place. BUT the shop badly need more stuff on the floor all day.
Yeah, it's definitely a b&q.
Selection is pretty good, they're open later than the other hardware places and they're never the cheapest option.
Staff are usually pleasant, all in all grand.
Great selection got advice from one of the lads there and he couldn't have been more helpful
You can be sure you get what your looking for and if not the staff will point you in the right direction.
Dreadful service! Went in there on Sun around 12:30 to buy some shelves and wanted to cut them on my specific measurements. The timber cutting section was closed with a sign in front of it saying temporary unavailable please come back tomorrow morning( that sign was there for the past week). I asked a store assistant for some more details and she said that the service is actually available and she went to ask the man in charge with that section . She came back saying that the machine is actually broken. Asked if I could speak to a manager and she called this man in his 40's( he didn't have a badge,he didn't introduce himself) who start shouting as he was walking towards me that the machine broke this morning and it was actually working for the past week somehow suggesting that I'm a liar. All I wanted to know was when the service will be available again because I'm not living in that area .He was very rude and agressive and he said that it's a free service- so if is a free service customers can be treated disrespectful. I will never step foot in that store again and I will share this experience with everyone I know.
The staffing level's aren't as good as they used to be but they have everything you need.
Very good staff very helpful, that is
Good staff make a good company
Great satisfaction, a wide assortment of goods, home decoration, a wide range of colors and as a bonus there is a garden center with lots of different flowers, garden houses and various other things.
