Dreadful - go somewhere else for your software Absolutely abysmal software and customer service. I purchased Avast's Driver Updater software (through Paypal) which tried to replace current drivers with more up to date versions that were NOT COMPATIBLE with my computer. Unfortunately I also accidentally purchased their 'AntiTrack Premium' at the same time. I immediately contacted Avast to let them know and disputed the purchases with Paypal. Repeated calls and e-mails to their customer service (who speak very poor English, difficult to understand and have very quiet microphones so they can't be heard very well) resulted in e-mails stating that the refunds had been made - THEY HAD NOT. They had lied to me and then demanded a multitude of documentary evidence to prove that I had closed the disputed purchases with Paypal. I still haven't received my refunds 3 weeks after buying them. What a dreadful service - I will be removing all Avast products from our computers and will never use their products again.

Your PC is slow ... 13 possible optimizations ...) * -updated, but without ever announcing the changes, logs not accessible by the software. * - prevents NAS standby (does not support executable execution directly from the NAS) ...
The building is nice, but after paying 190, - CZK for upgrading the antivirus, I have not sent any license code from AVAST !!!

I purchased the Avast Driver Updater Software after reading it's features in a promotional e-mail, sent to me by Avast. I activated the Software & then proceeded to update my laptop's drivers. There were 8 outdated drivers on my laptop & when the software was updating the 5th driver, it caused my laptop to hang & then to crash. Since then, I've spent almost 3 weeks & R10 500 to retrieve my "lost" data & had to purchase a new Hard Drive for my laptop. The ONLY response I've been given from Avast, after contacting them in this regard; is that they will ONLY refund me for the Avast Driver Updater Software & they refuse to take any responsibility for paying for any costs incurred from damages caused by their Avast Driver Updater Software! This, after I purchased the software & followed all of their instructions regarding the operating of this software. My advice - either pray that their software works correctly, or else, stay well clear of Avast & any of their software and marketing ... they care more for the sales of their products, than they care about their customers!

Maybe a nice building, but absolutely no communication with customers, new avast_cleanup_setup_online does not work at all, you will not call anywhere, a Czech company that does not communicate in Czech. Misery and misery, DO NOT TAKE !!!! Competitive Eset has top technical support, responds promptly and communicates in Czech!

If you have a friend who works here, definitely ask for a tour! It's not a coincidence it's rated best place to work in in Czech republic.
A friend of mine works in middle management here and gave me a tour and a delicious lunch. It truly is Silicon Valley in Europe. And it s a data centre so if you ever wanna connect to the Wi-Fi it s pretty damn quick. I think even on Wi-Fi with overhead it was 1m/s ping and the max speed for 802.1N Love avast :)
I sent the m / payment in bank transfer by the Bank BANIF in 2015/06/03, for the purchase of Sftware anti.virus in the price of 19.90. So far I have not received any news. I already cut the program that was on stand.bay. I await your reply.

I think the "Free" and "Premier" anti-virus softwears that I have used both for years are very good, but I am very dissatisfied with Support and Technical Assistance.
Very nice offices with amazing views of Prague. I was invited to lunch by a friend who works there and it was a very pleasant experience. A rich variety of dishes to choose from, including a la carte menu.

I will not evaluate the software as such, since there are dozens of tests, comparisons and reviews. Avast as a company is a story of unprecedented success, when the idea of two people thanks to diligence and effort came from the peak to the world brand, which perfectly represents the Czech Republic. The Enterprise building has been rated several times as one of the best working environments.
First the company sends out renewal notices inticing people to sign up for a product they already have. Then they claim there is no way they can know when someone has a double subcription (of course a simple computer program can do that), and finally they say they can offer no compensation when it occurs. ( I did not ask for a refund, only that they extend my current subscription for the 8 months they double billed me) It is an obvious unethical marketing plan and may even be illegal. They obviously DO NOT care about the customer. In spite of the propaganda their employees are posting. They may want to reconsider working for a company with such poor ethics. And - no, I won't be doing business with this company again and will utilize social media to warn others.
