An extraordinary trip between Zanzibar and Tanzani...

An extraordinary trip between Zanzibar and Tanzania in magical hotels, feet in the water for the first, in the heart of Serengeti for the second with a breathtaking view. Thank you to the team for their valuable advice, the choice of a lazy beach and followed by Safari is more than judicious, we took advantage of the 2 fully. I recommend Austral Lagons without moderation, advice, listening, value for money and sympathy are at the rendezvous. Bravo also for the choice of your service providers on site and in particular the guides. Thank you

Catastrophic journey due to the emergency redemption of my ticket. I had the impression of not being listened to and heard by this tour operator. It seemed to me to be abandoned at the first problem. Not the ideal conditions for going on vacation. No solution provided. I do not recommend this tour operator who does not even check the documents.

finally I change my opinion, because not having had all the elements in hand, my opinion was distorted, apart from the strike in Moorea, the rest of the stay in Bora-Bora or Ranguiroa looked like Paradise. we still have other paradisiac destinations to do and I will contact Austral Lagon without problem and without intermediary. I thank the whole team again. cordially

We went to French Polynesia in September / October 2018 with Austral Lagons.
Alice in charge of our project has been of great help in choosing services and destinations by listening to our expectations and providing appropriate responses.
The stay of a month and a half went perfectly with no false note from local providers.

Austral Lagon knows the different islands perfectly and has given us an unforgettable experience. You can let yourself be guided with your eyes closed.

A big thank you to the whole team for a perfect organization and recommendations that suited us.

We called Austral Lagon for a trip to Polynesia from October 3 to 15, 2017. The whole process of the trip was perfect. We received the travel documents a fortnight before departure; the welcome in Papeete and in all the islands visited as well as the transfers were always on time. We thank Elodie for her competence and the quick answers to our questions.

No verification of papers.

No verification of papers.
When there is a problem we are told:
Buy a return ticket.
We felt alone, not supported, and we went on vacation with a cash hole of 3000 euros.
I went through tour operators who fight for their customers, it's weird to see one who doesn't have the same philosophy ...

To give a brief summary of our beautiful trip to P...

To give a brief summary of our beautiful trip to Polynesia with Austral Lagons we loved it, loved it, we already want to go back! We quickly forgot the little "galleys" before departure linked to the Covid, and the wearing of a mask for more than 24 hours on the plane.
The technical stop in Vancouver went very smoothly, it was quick and efficient. On the outward and return flight, TN provides top-notch service (no wonder if you compare with FrenchBee or AF !).
For the other services everything went perfectly from start to finish, transfers and activities were very well provided every time. We had the chance to be alone during our excursion to meet the dolphins at the Dolphin Center in Moorea, we even had the photos offered as a bonus! A truly magical moment, apart, and with the hotel really empty and deserted, it accentuated the dream bubble effect!
The ceremony at Tiki Village was also a truly unforgettable moment for us. We completely forgot about the evening canceled before departure, and for good reason ... the view of the lagoon for lunch in compensation was breathtaking, and we had a "public" of children who attended our ceremony that day. -the. And since we added the photos option, we will have to buy a lot of frames to immortalize it all!
In terms of activities, we let go a bit on the spot ... I did a first dive in Bora with 2 other discovery dives (alone with my instructor because not many people, so great!), And my husband validated his level 1 at the Bora Diving Center that we really recommend (we had a great time with the instructors and the other divers). He did 2 dives again at Rangi in the Tiputa pass, and I snorkelling with him at the end of the day on 08/07, where we had the chance to swim with several dolphins, and there were also big sharks ! We were at The 6 Passengers center, which is really great too, we recommend
We also did the excursion to Tahaa from Raiatea for the day (we booked through the Ixora pension), and it was well worth the look!
The last excursion to the reef island was great too with Rangiroa Excursions, thanks to Laetitia and Marius for their patience during the braiding workshop!
Accommodation level, special mention for the Hibiscus hotel. I knew it was top notch but we were really delighted to stay there: upgrade on our arrival to the beachfront bungalow (which is the only one I think), because we were a priori the first international tourists to arrive there. 'hotel. The staff is very attentive and the restaurant offers a varied cuisine, and the view of the lagoon is so beautiful!
The other hotels and pensions were also really top notch, a magnificent lagoon view in Bora and Rangi (but that I m not telling you!).
Small flat on the restaurant of Maitai Rangiroa suddenly in comparison with the previous ones, which is much less varied, but since we know that everything is imported we do not hold it against.
Second upgrade to a sea view room at the Manava Suite at the end of the stay, with the view of the beautiful infinity pool and the breathtaking view of Moorea, it was really good to end the stay without being too "out of step" between Rangiroa and the back home.
In short ... Bravo to all providers, Polynesians adapt very well and do everything to make tourists feel as good as possible on site, despite the mandatory barrier and mask measures in restaurants, closed places, or during transfers and plane / boat trips. We can see that they are much less worried than we are here, despite the "return" of the covid since the reopening, compliance with the measures is not a brake on tourism there, on the contrary.

Regular Kuoni customer, Austral Lagons was recommended to me to organize our 3 week honeymoon trip to Polynesia in September with a 6 island itinerary and many excursions.
Living in the Bordeaux region everything was done remotely by phone and email.
I admit that I have found listening, responsiveness and professionalism to meet my requirements, knowing that the organization has been turned upside down on several occasions because of the Covid 19.
A big thank you to Elodie and Alice who accompanied me in the realization of this project by always being understanding and good advice.
I will in turn recommend your agency without hesitation for your professionalism.
All the best.

Hello, I'm not going to tell you about the trips o...

Hello, I'm not going to tell you about the trips of this brand but rather about the way in which the "Director" Mr. Helion de Villeneuve conducts the "job interviews", which ultimately says a lot about the character and his manner of treat people and therefore customers (and their problems ...) After a very good interview with the Financial Director at the time (1h30) who offered me to visit the premises (rather a good sign), we met Mr de Villeneuve in the stairs. The latter knows that I come from one of the most beautiful tour operators on the Place de Paris. He asks me questions and says bitter things about people in my company; I tick. He asks me about my knowledge of Africa: I tell him that I know North Africa, Senegal, Sierra Leone well ... He stops me by saying: No, I ask you if you know Africa ? I don't quite understand where he is coming from because we cannot know an entire continent all the same ... he asks me the same thing for the 2 Americas. I tell him which countries I know best. Before he could even develop, he said to me: Finally you don't know anything. A little taken aback, I understand that he does not want to hire me (why? I will never know) and I answer him that if he meets a person who knows an entire continent, he must keep it preciously because personally and in all honesty I don't know of any, even in tourism. He answers me without batting an eyelid: You know, I was the director of the French Polynesia tourist office and I know every nook and cranny. Yes, well, it is not all the same a continent, a little ridiculous as a remark. He turns around, grabs all of his company brochures, throws them on the table and asks me to learn everything before coming back for an interview, maybe one day. Going down with the CFO, the latter apologizes flatly by telling me that he does not understand what is going on and that he will come back to me anyway. Nothing. So here is the person who oversees this company, not very pretty pretty ... Professionally: I had a little trouble getting up from this interview. Do whatever you want with this testimony, but it's not that off topic.

RESPONSE TO MR DE VILLENEUVE
Sir,

you are right on one point. It was not the Financial Director who gave me the interview but the Deputy Managing Director Mr. Olivier Larue, who obviously did not have much weight under your yoke since he had every intention of hiring me, before our interview.
For the rest, I don't have to argue. You had the contempt to ask me questions about destinations that you did not do when I am an island specialist and not a junior. In my opinion in human relations, there is no difference between a person to hire and a client; respect is the key word and you probably don't have it. This is where true ethics lie, sir.

Congratulations on your title of best TO of 2018.

A stay of 2 weeks in Polynesia which it is difficult to return to looking at the beauty of the place, the kindness of the Polynesians and the flawless organization of Austral Lagons. From the presentation of our travel project, Alice knew how to identify and meet our expectations. From flights to transfers to excursions, everything was perfect and in line with what had been planned. All you have to do is fill the piggy bank to go!

Our honeymoon trip was wonderful despite this special period, and this in large part thanks to Austral Lagons who perfectly combined all our requests. We visited 5 islands in Polynesia and benefited from real personalized follow-up. Something went wrong with one of our hotels (apart from Austral Lagons) -> one phone call to the agency and the problem was resolved immediately. Responsiveness and professionalism are the watchwords. A huge thank you to Elodie and to the entire Austral Lagons team for allowing us to experience an incredible journey. Our Honeymoon was a waking dream and will forever be etched in our memories.
