RTX 2017 at the Austin Convention Centre was awsome the centre staff were friendly, efficient and nothing was to much trouble. Spacious halls, easy access to all levels and bright & airy rooms.

Nice looking interior, bathrooms were clean, drink tables were well stocked. Food was good for a venue of that size. Rooms were well lit and sounded great. Couldn't here the other talks through the walls and thats always a plus. Tons to do around the place as well while you wait.

I don't believe they were able to fit the capacity of the conference. The food kiosks we're severely over priced. There are several restaurants around the convention center but all appeared to be sit down and not a quick grab and go (which is needed during a conference with little time between sessions).

Great service

The doormen are very attentive and professional.

I don't have anything negative about the venue itself (but there's fewer than five stars for the Minefaire). The young lady in the ticket both at the Convention Center was extremely sweet and so helpful.

Nice place, and big. My only complaints are 1) they need more than coffee and Coke products for events, especially IT events. Diet Dew, Monster energy, redbull, etc. This might just be me though. 2) For such a large place they could put in more men's restrooms. Sometimes it felt like I had to walk a mile as I passed nothing but women's and non-binary restrooms. When running from session to session this is less than ideal.

We went here for a Scentsy convention! The place is huge and was very well completed with signs everywhere so we knew where to go. It was hard to not have a walk way from one side of the place to another side. The way it was set up we had to walk all the way around the building which hurt for people who couldn't walk that far. Also had issues with the homeless coming into the convention center and asking for food or money.

Just huge and really beautiful, both inside and out. For years, I always hear at trade shows that the WiFi and Internet is just so bad because so many use it at the same time. Here it ran like my home .... Since probably someone knows how to do it right. A star off because it is madly expensive during the fairs if you are hungry or thirsty.

Great location close to lively 6th street and downtown restaurants. The convention center is relatively small making it easy to get around. The room numbering has little logic, but the center staff is very helpful to orient you. Lots of coffee shops and restaurants close to center. There is a very cool robotic coffee machine on site.

I went to the Tiny Home Convention. There was plenty of room inside the area we visited. There was a Comic Con going on next door to the Tiny Home Convention in another area.

We parked about 4 blocks away from the Austin Convention Center covered parking place. The only downside is we were approached constantly by homeless people asking for money while we walked to and from the Convention Center.

The Austin Convention Center is a great place to meet new people, especially during events such as SXSW.

The convention center is very spacious which means there's a lot of people during conferences. I like how the restrooms are spaced out throughout the building. There are also water jug dispensers in case you get thirsty. And if your phone or laptop battery is low, feel free to plug it in the several outlets along the walls. They have food stands and coffee shops, but the items are kind of pricey.

What I really like about the convention center is that they always have signs to direct you to the correct place. This is really helpful when I'm lost and need to get to a meeting quickly.

It's a convention centre so what can I say. It's huge. I'm sure it caters for my events so the experience is likely to differ depending on what you are there. Centrally located. Also beside the rail station. Connected to the Hilton hotel.
