Big space surrounded by plenty of restuarants. Parking is expensive but that is just expected in Austin.

RTX 2017 at the Austin Convention Centre was awsome the centre staff were friendly, efficient and nothing was to much trouble. Spacious halls, easy access to all levels and bright & airy rooms.
Getting Ready for SXSW and uploading my app to get my robotic prepared coffee during the festival.
One of the best convention centers I ve been to. Situated in the middle of 7-8 hotels. Huge rooms and meeting spaces. Excellent facilities.
Wish it offered better wifi during the technology conferences.
Nice looking interior, bathrooms were clean, drink tables were well stocked. Food was good for a venue of that size. Rooms were well lit and sounded great. Couldn't here the other talks through the walls and thats always a plus. Tons to do around the place as well while you wait.
Well layed out for events but you will be going external for food but it is close
Plenty of shops, live music, amazing restaurants and bars.
Great location! It s everything you would want in a convention center!
Huge Conference Center great for large cell conferences
Lots of space between meetings rooms. Wear comfortable shoes.
I don't believe they were able to fit the capacity of the conference. The food kiosks we're severely over priced. There are several restaurants around the convention center but all appeared to be sit down and not a quick grab and go (which is needed during a conference with little time between sessions).
Need to have more activity and exhibits for public use
Awkward layout causing pileups in vatious locations and its basically a big ugly gray monstrosity. It has brought an array of attractive buildings around it though which is nice.
Great service
Very comfortable rooms
Very clean
The doormen are very attentive and professional.
Great place! No free parking and must park in surrounding garages.
Impressive place. Always something happening here. They've let me use the bathroom here and get water.
I don't have anything negative about the venue itself (but there's fewer than five stars for the Minefaire). The young lady in the ticket both at the Convention Center was extremely sweet and so helpful.
Great location for a convention center. You can pretty much take a pedicab or walk anywhere in downtown
Comfortable, amenities were nice,clean...construction near convention center
Great convention! The only problem was that during the education sessions, many of the classrooms experienced A/V issues.
Nice place, and big. My only complaints are 1) they need more than coffee and Coke products for events, especially IT events. Diet Dew, Monster energy, redbull, etc. This might just be me though. 2) For such a large place they could put in more men's restrooms. Sometimes it felt like I had to walk a mile as I passed nothing but women's and non-binary restrooms. When running from session to session this is less than ideal.
Love conferences at this place. So many good food venues nearby. Cooper s BBQ is my favorite stop. Check out the glass house if you re looking for a great, nearby AirBnb.
Very good experience....The convention Center is huge
Inside was great. Getting there through allllllllllllllll of the construction and homeless people was so scary. Won't be back.
Sxsw tradeshow looked great and was organized very well
Security needs to be educated on reentry for people with credintials.
We went here for a Scentsy convention! The place is huge and was very well completed with signs everywhere so we knew where to go. It was hard to not have a walk way from one side of the place to another side. The way it was set up we had to walk all the way around the building which hurt for people who couldn't walk that far. Also had issues with the homeless coming into the convention center and asking for food or money.
Good place to go for a convention. Unfortunately I come to a technology conference every year and the wifi is usually down at least an hour per day.
Great insights from @thesharkdaymond and @tonyrobbins
I attended the PROCORE Groundbreak Conference, 2018 - Great facilities, staff, layout, etc...
Very big and I haven't been able to look around from what I have seen I think it's a wonderful place to visit
This is a huge place with spacious walkways and clean everything! I really like the way everything is laid out.
Just huge and really beautiful, both inside and out. For years, I always hear at trade shows that the WiFi and Internet is just so bad because so many use it at the same time. Here it ran like my home .... Since probably someone knows how to do it right. A star off because it is madly expensive during the fairs if you are hungry or thirsty.
Was here for RTX and had a grand time, the structure is appealing and the convention itself was well organized!
Nice, big space. Rooms were the perfect size for sessions
Here for RTX but it's super crowded, still the place is pretty nice and open
Very nice, organized place. Lots of bathrooms and very open floor plan
Great location close to lively 6th street and downtown restaurants. The convention center is relatively small making it easy to get around. The room numbering has little logic, but the center staff is very helpful to orient you. Lots of coffee shops and restaurants close to center. There is a very cool robotic coffee machine on site.
Huge place. Only problem is that it only has one working coffee shop. Lines are kind of long at a convention.
I went to the Tiny Home Convention. There was plenty of room inside the area we visited. There was a Comic Con going on next door to the Tiny Home Convention in another area.
We parked about 4 blocks away from the Austin Convention Center covered parking place. The only downside is we were approached constantly by homeless people asking for money while we walked to and from the Convention Center.
Nice people great service got in got out real quick no problems
Stopped by for the Home and Garden Show. I had a great time, but my biggest headache was parking. This event needs a new location with ample free parking.
Great place for corporate conferences and large events.
The Austin Convention Center is a great place to meet new people, especially during events such as SXSW.
The convention center is very spacious which means there's a lot of people during conferences. I like how the restrooms are spaced out throughout the building. There are also water jug dispensers in case you get thirsty. And if your phone or laptop battery is low, feel free to plug it in the several outlets along the walls. They have food stands and coffee shops, but the items are kind of pricey.
What I really like about the convention center is that they always have signs to direct you to the correct place. This is really helpful when I'm lost and need to get to a meeting quickly.
quite big place. a lot of technical troubles during the conference.
It's a convention centre so what can I say. It's huge. I'm sure it caters for my events so the experience is likely to differ depending on what you are there. Centrally located. Also beside the rail station. Connected to the Hilton hotel.
Large and modern venue, plenty of parking garages nearby, extra security measures for safety.
Clean and nice staff, shout out to the fork lift drivers!
Large venue. Super cold AC. Always looks very clean.
Jurassic quest was a fun great experience for all ages.
Really nice, clean, friendly staff, easy to navigate
