Loved the Center... Went early on a weekend so it was quieter and not so crowded.. But the time we wer about to leave by mid day it was bustling...

Very peaceful.. We can get cycles & bikes on rent. Free transportation for handicapped and oldage people. Neat & clean toilets available for both Male & female.

Great place to take a hike across bushes to see the matrimandir

I love this place. Its very calm and eco friendly. people who visit there, they should actually explore the aroville society fully. There are a lot of places such as swaram musical centre, bamboo centre, cafeteria, park is inside. You will see the route map to reach the Golden Globe Matri Mandir at the entrance itself. Bringing food from outside is allowed. We can sit and eat under the tree. Rental cycle system is there. If you want to see inside the golden globe you have to get the Arovile society permission by registering your details.

Nice walk to the matrimandir, surrounded by lots of greenery. A good place to visit in pondicherry.please give it some time to visit as it's a large beautiful place to spend good time with your loved ones.

Place is good for meditation but you need to walk 1-1.5 km.

Well designed place.. easy access .. and informative centre.. well organised

It's like the heart of Auroville. There are various cafes, eatries, boutiques and souvenir shops. The information desk is the main pace to visit if you are visiting for the first time. All the management staff are very modest in the information centre and also in the guest accommodation service. One can visit there just for hanging out as there are a lot of options present.

Awesome place. Serene and green. Full of trees and peace.

You can visit it only if have booked special pass before 1 week .

The very first impression is awesome wid some cool sustainable and alternative architecture.

A place away from mediocre life, where body meets pneuma, a place in the woods

Auroville visitors center is the way to enter Matri Mandir. It is 10-15kms from the pondicherry rock beach, you can get autos to get here or rent a bike or even avail the bus service from Auroville from the main town.

You can park your vehicles in the parking space for a nominal fee of 20 for bikes and 50 for cars. They have a video room as soon as you enter the place which showcases a video feature of the history of Auroville. It is free of cost and worth the time.

Shopping - they have two stores across each other, one has boutique clothing and the other Kalki has clothes, bags, perfumes, candles, home fragrances, hand made home decor etc. All of their products are organic, they even have make up.

Food - there are restaurats that serve good organic food and a coffee shop. Their sorbets are a must try. They are made of fresh fruits and are seasonal. You get free water all over the place, don't forget to carry your own bottles to avoid littering the place.

You can easily spend half a day here. You can also collect your free pass to visit the Matri Mandir from here.

Nice peaceful place. Great for spending some time with your loved ones. Just beside about the timing because they close early at the weekend..

Peaceful place..if u go with kids there s 1.5km walk do take some water n snacks for them

Registrations for meditation in matrimandir of visitors are done here. A small shop where products made in Ashram are sold. Also is there a gallery with preaching/messages and painting of Maharshi Aurobindo and Mother. Matrimandir which is a fabulous center for meditation is about a km away from here

Serene place .... a country within country. Well managed.

The security lack communication within each other , at the entrance they said place is open and when you walk for a km and reach the point they say closed

Nice place to explore different world for peace lovers

Nice place to visit. Huge area with filled with lots of veriety of floura and fauna with some architectural monuments.

Something to be experienced by architects and architecture students

Commercialized, access to only their business areas. However well maintained and people around to guide you within the walkway or the exhibition centres

Small eateries( try homemade cake slices) and handmade soap shop were good. A small video of the history of the place is shown .

Better time to visit during winter season... In summer it's too hot walk and enjoy
