Good service but is pointed more towards a younger audience, the pools are all for children but the beach is fantasic, rooms are nice l, nothing to complain except for the lack of things to do nearby except the small food places outside

The Aulani is a beautiful property. The service is impeccable, everyone is friendly and helpful. In the mornings, you'll hear the sounds of Aunty's singing wafting into your room, and in the evenings you'll hear mostly Hawaiian influenced songs by different artists. Everything about Aulani is masterfully planned and while not overly Disney (which I loved) carries the perfect amount of Disney charm. The lobby is absolutely gorgeous. The pools are great, though I do feel like they close way way way too early. The food is just okay throughout the property, which is to be expected. They have one quick service cafe (the Ulu Cafe) which you can refill your Disney mugs at with coffee, which would frequently run out of coffee due to all the parents/uncles/aunts/grandparents coming down for coffee. They definitely need another cafe on the other side of the resort. The food isn't terribly priced at the Ulu Cafe, you can get a pretty hefty breakfast platter for $13, but things like bottled drinks and chips are ridiculously overpriced. Aunty's beach house is amazing!!! It is the best best best kids club I've ever seen, and the security is top notch. It feels like the secret service is watching over your kids.. but that they're also super fun! Our child went to "Stitch's space goo" and still can't stop laughing about the event. I would come back in a heartbeat! A few things that definitely put a damper on the stay was the awful wifi. It worked 1 day of the 8 that we were there. Also, the rooms are really dark, and definitely the early pool close times. Other than that, this is probably the best place to go on a family vacation. It's pricy, but you will have a great time!

Friendly service at every turn! The resort is beautiful and the amenities are endless. Aunties beach house is a huge hit with our kids. Which is a huge hit for us parents who get time alone without worrying whether the kids are having a good time. They don't even miss us when we pick them up. Some of the pool areas are under construction, but there are plenty of other swimming areas for the adults and kids. Lazy river was a big hit too. Character dinner was very good.

Nice resort but customer service is terrible. Tried adding on 2 days to our vacation and 3 supervisors and 1 hr later they could not figure out how to add days. Had to create a whole new reservation. Ridiculous

Great resort...been here a few times... I am a disney addict plus i love island vacations.. put them together and I am in heaven. Beach is wonderful. Only thing is.. you need to book early if you want certain things such a type of room etc. The pool can get packed especially during spring break times... it is pricey.. but your paying for the disney customer service.. and of course adults can have fun here but it is more for families.

So we have been in Hawaii for over a week now and by far the most fun! We stayed at a 2 bedroom villa and was amazing! The place can be considered a bit expensive, we have spent $1300 a night but for us it was incredibly worth it. Staff, food and drinks were incredible. So much for the kids to do! A must stop!

Aulani is a great place to spend time with family and make great memories. The night life is a little lacking, but what do you expect from a Disney resort. Beautiful views and excellent activities throughout

I rate aulani a 4.5 because I really enjoyed it but there were a few misunderstandings where we got re-directed a few times which took some of our time away, but, other than that I totally recommend you to go here.

Wonderful vacation. Great staff and service. Food quite good even though expensive (#resortlife). There's a great little market area across the street and a Costco not too far. Take advantage! I saw people bringing whole boxes of diapers!

The cast members are amazingly nice and helpful. The pool, lazy river, snorkel reef, and beach is only a few of the many reasons to visit Aulani. Loved the relaxed atmosphere of the resort.

Day 2 and this is our first time at a Disney resort. We came through a work trip.
So we didn t have any expectations beyond knowing Disney has great customer service:

Positives:
beautiful clean resort
Very pleasent staff
Tons of amenities
Several pools
Nice towel service
Beautiful rooms
Good poolside food

Negatives:
Awful food at Buffett (cheap All inclusive resort food)
When you ask for something seems like more no s then yes s (when your spending $500/night and $17 for a glass of cab -I want to hear- yes ma am we can get you some yogurt and gronola.
No where near enough wait staff by pool-have to hunt servers down.
Beach area is too small for size of resort
(Too be expected...over crowded and hard to find beach chair space.)

If your a huge Disney person I guess go-but we would have rather more of a 4 seasons or Ritz Carlton type of experience with our 3 year old. This is not the Disney that we hear about.

Though this place is run by the Devil Mouse, we have a 10 year old vacation club membership to use or lose. Aulani is a great place to stay in Hawaii. Friendly helpful staff and well maintained grounds. Because the lazy river was closed for repairs while we were there, we got a $50 per day credit.

This is the place to go for any family. It provides a safe place for children to interact and a nice getaway as well. The atmosphere of the place has the Hawaiian vibe with just the right amount of magic. If the on site food amenities are too expensive you can walk down the street and visit the local convenience store. We dined almost exclusively on the resort and found the food cheaper than what is served at the Disney Parks. The quality is also much higher. Overall, we very much enjoyed out visit.

The ocean views were spectacular! All the pools were great and warm. I had trouble getting into jacuzzies, no steps to walk down. I'm not limber enough to crawl in and out. The resort treated us to free rum drinks by the Infiniti pool. Great service!

We took many photoes with various disney characters at restaurant, poolside and garden. Ama-ama was great for our lunch. Makahiki character breakfast buffet was just ok but no salad options. I would recommend outside tables whenever possible as it was not bright enough to take a high quality photo. Hawaian dinner show was surprisingly good.

Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa has the best kids club for families traveling with kids.
I would love to visit Kapolei and Maui in Hawaii and visits the Big Island of Hawaii.
My two sons are going to enjoy the waterfalls, active volcanoes; black, green and white sand beaches, historic sites and unspoiled nature.
I would like for my youngest son to Explore Hawaiian Culture, Art
and Music at Aulani, a Disney Resort kids club this year

This place was amazing! My family and I are total Disney Fanatics! We have been to Disney World over 30 times, and Disneyland twice. We wanted to take a trip to Hawaii, and chose to stay here. We absolutely loved it! Its definitely something to add on your bucket list!

Don t get me wrong, this is a great resort if you want the Disney experience on Hawaii. It is oversold as that and there are comparable resorts if you are looking for less Mickey Mouse and children. The pool area for as large as it is, is too small for number of rooms in the resort. Seating in the pool area is limited during busy times unlike other resorts. People hoard chairs and the Disney staff does nothing to stop it.
The restaurants are average and the food is high priced. Monkeypod across the street along with others in the area offer higher quality food at better prices. The service and food we had at Awa Awa was not good. The ribeye is below average for quality and is overpriced.
Our room was average, great part was the view over the pool to the ocean. Our TV would not function properly for the five days we were at the resort. The phone crackled and the front desk could not hear when we called about the TV.
Beds were your average foam mattresses near need of replacement with divers in them.
We stayed on Maui and Kauai at Hyatt and Koloa landings, both offered similar features to Aulani, Koloa even with washer and dryer in the room.
Do your homework before booking a resort. If you do end up with Aulani be prepared. The resort is located 30 minutes from Honolulu, traffic in the morning can double that drive if you are heading in.
If you are looking for the disneyification of Hawaii Aulani may be for you, but other resorts can offer the same features with more of an authentic feel.

Not worth the price. Not only was the kids activities non existent "due to covid" but the rooms just were no good. The rooms had worn furniture and bedding and not kid friendly at all. The only indication this is a disney resort in the room was a Micky lamp. Not only was the mattress better suited for a prison cell but the bedding consisted of a sheet, no comforter or blanket. For the price I paid for the room alone I feel ripped off about $1000 per day. The only activity was the pools and the pools are nice when they are open but one day they were mostley closed as well. No disney magic here not even a towel animal. I will never stay at another disney propery again.

Had a wonderful time at Aulani. Even though the weather wasn't cooperating, my kids enjoyed the water slides, meeting the characters who walk around the resort, and playing at aunty's beach house. The staff has been very friendly and accommodating each time we've visited.
