On the expensive side but everything is included. They give you as many towel rentals as you would like with your room, and there are a lot of fun pools and a lazy river as well as the ocean to swim in. Certainly a treat everyone should experience once in their life. This place is great for kids too.

A Disney Resort with just the right amount of Disney touches.

My family was looking for a relaxing getaway and that is exactly what we got. The resort is secluded away from busy Waikiki and is much quieter and laid back in comparison. We were greeted at the entrance and directed to the main desk to check in, a waiting room is located nearby with entertainment for the kids so they don't need to wait in line. We arrived earlier than our check in time but our room was ready for us. The standard room was comfortable for the 4 of us and there were many nice touches.

The pool area was busy as we were there over Christmas but not overly busy or crowded. Some days, finding a lounger was difficult, leave your items in your room, you wont need them anyways or take a trip around the lazy river, by the time you get back one will have freed up. We spent most of our time in the lazy river floating but also enjoyed the infinity pool, zero entry pool, 3 hot tubs and 2 water slides.

The on site food ranged from mediocre to great depending on where you ate. I'd recommend Ulu cafe for breakfast for both price and quality. Quick easy lunches can be grabbed from Mama's Snack Stop, Off the Hook offers the same food and a few other options but is more pricey. We enjoyed our Christmas dinner at the Makahiki Buffet, the food was fresh, tasty, and no one left hungry, there were options to appease every ones taste buds. If you aren't wanting to eat on site everyday there is an Island Country Market and restaurants located across the street.

What can I say about Aunties Beach house? Ear to ear smiles at every pick up! We sometimes had to try more than once to pick up because they didn't want to leave. Included with your stay, drop in time is from 9 am to 9 pm. Located inside there is a movie room, dress up, video games and computers, arts and crafts, a backyard with play structure and impromptu character experiences (Moana helping with hand washing? Why not?) There are also complimentary activities for sign up.

Staff was friendly, helpful and comparable to what you would expect from the Disney parks.

A daily event schedules can be picked up from the concierge desk outlining all the days activities.

The man made lagoon keeps the beach calm and protected from the waves. We enjoyed snorkeling near the reef and saw many tropical fish. Take a walk along the beach and venture out onto the rocks to do some beach combing in the tide pools but watch for rogue waves.

After a tiring day at the beach and pools pick out a movie or two from the community hall to take back to your room.

It was the relaxing family vacation we were hoping for, with no reason to leave unless you choose to.

This resort is a great getaway for a family vacation. Unfortunately it can get kind of busy and it may be hard to find pool lounge chairs later in the day. Our shower didn't drain very quickly which took away only slightly from the experience. And parking is $37 per vehicle per night which seems excessive considering how much we had to pay to stay there.

The BEST family vacation ever. Disney never fails to disappoint. The rooms, food, and entertainment were all top quality. We rented a dedicated two bedroom villa in order to accommodate all of our family. Our room was on the 16th floor, facing the ocean and the pool. The master had a king bed, the second bedroom had two queens, and the living room had a pullout couch and pullout chair. It was fantastic. The room decor was awesome and we loved our balconies. The kitchen was fully stocked with kitchen supplies. We ordered groceries via instacart and it worked out pretty well. The groceries were delivered to the front of the hotel. Because we booked through the hotel, and not through a DVC rental company, our room was cleaned and restocked everyday. Our housekeeper was very nice and helpful. I recommend all of the restaurants on property, the food was incredible no matter where we went to eat. Don't miss the refillable mug, Dole Whip swirl at Ulu Cafe, the Calamari at Wailana, the breakfast and dinner buffet at Makahiki, and the shrimp pasta and Belgian waffles at Ama Ama. People with food allergies are completely catered to, and the chefs are amazing. We saw the on-property Luau with VIP tickets. It was great for our family. The kids enjoyed the activities and the buffet was amazing. We spent our days at the pools, slides, and the beach. We did try snorkeling, but I recommend going on a HOT day because the water in the pool was very cold. Pick up the daily Ewa for the event schedule and for the number to call for character visits. My family participated in the star gazing, toddler splash group, painting with light class, pool party, adventure trail scavenger hunt, and character visits. We also enjoyed the community room and the free games/movies. Throughout our seven days, we had hundreds of photos taken with our photopass. $99 for professional photos is something you don't want to miss. Make sure you take time to spend at the gift shop ordering your CD on your last day because the line can be long. Overall, this was the most amazing family vacation I have ever had. We were sad to leave. Hopefully one day, we can return!

We went to the breakfast buffet with disney characters. A lot of fun with excellent food. From simple foods like cereal, fruits and bagels to more filling things like eggs Benedict, omlettes and pancakes!

We love DVC resorts. All the staff members are friendly, very helpful and accommodating. I love all the Filipino staff members they are hardworking and make you feel at home. The staff are quick to respond to anything you need. You get pampered around here. This is definitely living the dream! Thank you everyone at Aulani Disney Resort in KoOlina Hawaii.

Incredible location, beach and pools we're stunning. In room TV and WiFi were spotty but not much time was spent in the room! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place on Oahu.

A place to be healed by being alone.
Outstanding space and scenery are also outstanding

It was written in Japanese and English, and I was not troubled by the words. I was surprised to find that the Japanese staff were considerably more than they used to be.

I'm glad I can take many photos with Disney characters

Amazing staff, accomodations and facilities. Yes, Hawaii is expensive and yes you can spend a huge sum at the resort - however you plan a bit and save. Get groceries and eat in meals, also purchasing the large refillable mug for $20 will pay for itself very quickly. The staff is really magical.

Aulani was a great experience. For anyone wondering if you should go with kids under 3 years old I would say yes, but know that you ll miss out on Aunty s treehouse - which was awesome! Our girls couldn t wait to go there every day. Two things that bothered me: the rides/activities all start closing pretty early and the quality of the food (while good) just wasn t what I was hoping for with the room costing $800 a night.

It's a Hawaiian resort w Disney's special touches and service. Great beach area, fun pools and actually pretty close to attractions. Lots of Hawaiian sculptures, artwork and food. Food prices on par w the island prices, maybe a little more expensive. There is a lounge to shower and change before your room is ready to enjoy the premises or after you check out if you have a late flight.

Our experience at the Aulani was amazing. Not only was I there as a guest, I also got married there.

The hotel itself is what you would expect from a Disney hotel. However there isn't a big Disney presence throughout which I think is a good thing. They still have Disney characters running around and themed merch. The rooms were comfortable and those views are great. There is a cove that the Aulani shares with the four seasons nextdoor but it's big enough to accommodate all. Lounge chairs go fast but the staff keeps an eye out for unused chairs. Don't throw your towel on the chair in the morning and expect to save it for the entire day unless you regularly come back to it.

Now for the wedding side of things. Working with the Aulani was amazing/wonderful. They made planning a wedding hassle-free for us (we live in California). Our wedding coordinator helped us out a lot and made sure to ask us everything that needed planning out. We had the ceremony on the patio overlooking the water and the reception on the lawn. Everyone had fun. The cherry on top was the various small gifts we received from the hotel/our coordinator. The price wasn't exactly on the cheap side but hey, it's a Disney hotel and you get what you pay for.

All in all, great hotel, great setting, great experience. I'm going to try to convince my other friends to get married there now

Beautiful hotel grounds. Rooms are nice, but not spectacular, on par with other Disney resorts. Pool and beach are excellent for kids. Location on the island is nice if you are planning on spending most of your time at the resort, but a bit farther than ideal from Honolulu.

Stopped by to see the resort. Beach cove was nice, especially if you have young kids who want to play in the ocean without waves. Gift shops had Disney themed merchandise with prices like Disneyland. Non-guest parking is validated with a purchase of $50. Otherwise parking is $12 for the first hour and $5 for each 30 min after that. Located right next to the Four Seasons on the old industrial side of Oahu, about 25 min from Honolulu/Waikiki. Looks like a great spot for young families or Disney enthusiasts, but otherwise the prices (rooms, food, etc.) would be hard to justify.

Overall a very nice vacation we had there. Pros: nice space in suite, lazy river, beaches immaculate, staff was amazing, there were three Chris's that were very nice from the staff, mini mall close by, and the beds were comfortable. Cons: food was good but way over priced, not enough activities for the teenagers although lots for the younger kids, parking prices are crazy high as well as cab prices, shuttle from airport they charge double the cost of an Uber for a family of five, for the cost of club med I do expect more activities for everyone, the madness at the pool was a turn off ever chair is gone by 8 am, trying to get reservations at the restaurants was a mistake, just show up as people make them and don't show up so the restaurant has space still, we were there for Easter and activities for kids was only for under 12 leaving us out, the vacation ts people are nice but no I'm not buying a lease into your resort for 45 years as the place still has some glaring issues, there just needs to be more space and activities for the number of rooms you have. To be honest I won't be going back again.

I stayed in a room with an ocean view. It's a wonderful view.
There was a timetable for the character greetings, and I made a plan. A feeling of familiarity that cannot be experienced in Tokyo.
At the pool, you can ride on a floating ring and relax. There are beach chairs and in the sea, in the pool, and you can relax. You can also have a light meal in the chair. I stayed at Aulani for 2 nights and Waikiki for 3 nights, but is it okay to stay at Aulani for 5 nights? I was surprised that the people in Mainland stayed for 7 to 10 nights.

You cannot ask for a better place to enjoy all the magical experiences that Disney has to offer. The staff are not only friendly and courteous, but they are Ohana. I highly recommend eating at the buffet and bring an appetite. Lots of activities to participate in or kick back and relax on the beach or pool. I look forward to returning. Aloha

We had dinner at the buffet and booked because it said character dining. It turns out they only do that a couple nights a week and there were no characters the night we were having dinner. We were bummed because it's pricey for regular dining but the staff was amazing and the food was pretty good as well. Having breakfast again there on Saturday so the kids can have the character experience.

Service is wonderful. Beautiful surroundings. Beach, pools, lazy river, hot tubs and some adult only space. Plenty of pools and water slides and a play area just for the kids. Rooms are spacious & each with a balcony and seating. Just wonderful!!

Beautiful! But, Disappointed in the beginning today. My family and I had reservations for All-you-can-eat Buffet Breakfast, but, instead we were sent to the wrong Dinning area. But, I told myself that I need to make the best of what we are given, so, we continued with our breakfast even though it wasn't the Buffet, it turned out Good! The waitress was Excellent! Even though she knew that we were upset earlier, she did a Great job and breakfast was Good! I do recommend anyone and everyone to go to the Aulani Resort. Aloha!!!!!

A relatively small, kid-friendly resort with lost of activities for kids and the not-so-kids. The beach area is well maintained. Be sure to try out the daily beach workouts at 9am. They vary from yoga to boot camps to aerobics.

Relaxed Disney is just as great as a constant move of a Disney World. My wife relaxed by the beach and pool with pool side drinks and food while I walked around the decent sized resort pin trading, running into characters who tend to walk around and play. They offer a great location with Hawaiin excursions and shops as well. Disney is at the top of their profession.
