As an experienced food and beverage professional with over 30 years underneath my belt, originally trained in a five star resort in the southeast. The food at Augustos was exceptional. the presentation was subtle and beautiful as the feel the silk sliding over your arm s.

We love going out. Last night we went to this magnificent restaurant which friends recommended to us. We had a beautiful experience there with superb meal and a professional crew and a distinguished cuisine. We added this place in our list and we will certainly go again very soon. We warmly recommend.

My wife and I go out to eat WITHOUT our four young children only once a year; twice if we're lucky. I stumbled upon this restaurant randomly searching for a place to eat on our anniversary. Having a delicious meal with exceptional service on the one night that we had the time to actually taste and enjoy good food meant so much to us.

Augusto's never fails to delight. We bring our mothers here for special occasions: the staff are considerate and helpful. The rib eye and pork chop were delicious, as were the fish entrees. Will certainly come again.

Great place to celebrate a Birthday. Service and food was exceptional. The crab soup, the lobster ravioli, gnocchi , dessert and cappuccino was very rich but filled the spot. Lovely atmosphere!
The exterior of the building does no justice for the experience inside. A wonderful surprise and find.

Was absolutely awesome until the desert cart stopped at the table before us for some reason, and we actually had to get up to look, no descriptions were given.. very awkward....

We were regular customers throughout the last 5 years. We supported you while you built your reputation- we visited during the week and at lunch when there were few other customers in the restaurant.

Tonight we had reservations at 6:30 P.M with guests from out of town. The initial service was slow yet at 8:35 we were asked to leave to free up a table. We were totally embarrassed in front of our guests.

You advertise leisurely dining and then do this. You're forgetting what brought you success in the first place. You seem to be forgetting that a restaurant's reputation can change in an instant- ask Georges Perrier of Le Bec Fin.

My wife called to complain and we we offered a sleazy "gift" certificate. Do you actually believe this would make up for your mistreatment of our party? You've driven away very good customers and customers who no longer will recommend your restaurant .In the next year when you're closing your restaurant, remember this feedback. I shall be listing our experience on all social media. Good experiences can make a restaurant and bad experiences can close a restaurant

I ate here last night. First off, I had a friend give me a gift certificate that expired last December, they chose to honor it which is the first star!

The service was great, 2nd star!

The appetizers (Lobster Bisque, Calamari were great, 3rd star!

Dinner (Scallops for 2 of us and my wife ordered Salmon) was great, did I tell you about the scallops? 4th star!

The owner/manager was very accommodating and desert, which I was too stuffed to order was great (as told by my wife and stepson) 5th star!

No I do not work here, this was my first trip and I am quite embarrassed at having this gift certificate sit in my cabinet for a year and 1/2 and not using it.

My wife and I are thinking about making making this a once a month must do!

First of all, let me qualify this review by saying I am pretty critical of fine dining restaurants and have higher than normal expectations, while I have lower expectations of chains and casual restaurants. This "off-the-beaten path" restaurant is designed to be an fine dining suburban restaurant, hence a higher expectation. However, it is BYOB. The menu is varied including both American and Italian dishes. The food is presented attractively and the service was attentive but not overly so. However, the food itself, while good, was just average - as you might get in any decent fine dining restaurant. I would say that this is probably the best and nicest restaurant in the nearby Warminister area (and one of the most expensive at $50pp w/o drinks), but that is a low bar. Compared to other similar restaurants in downtown Philly or NYC, the preparation of the food is unimaginative is just average - that is, no "wow" factor. We were not unhappy with our meal, but we did not rave about how good it was. We probably won't return.

My brother and I had a small party for our Mother s 80th birthday on Sunday. It was nicer than I could have hoped for. I knew the food would be amazing because I ve eaten there before and their Lobster Ravioli is my moms favorite so of course it was one of our guests choices. I have to say I was so blown away by the attentiveness and kindness of the staff. Ramzi had everything I forgot including candles and I only needed minimal decorations with all the beautiful poinsettias they had in every corner.
We offered salmon and chicken as well and everyone raved over it all. I m so blessed to have my mom and I could not have chosen a better place to celebrate her special day! Thank you Augusto s...I ll be telling everyone!

Augusto's is a small, intimate restaurant with excellent food and staff. This is a great choice for a date night or special occasion. I highly recommend the Langoustinos if they are available; the crab cakes are also incredibly delicious.

My fiance and i stumbled across this restaurant randomly one night. We were late and they were about to close but they let us sit and eat anyways. They were very friendly. The food was great and so was the atmosphere. It is a cute little BYOB just off of street rd. Very eclectic and fun.

Very nice and elegant evening. We went there for our anniversary and dinner was delicious. My husband had a seafood platter with muscles, lobster, shrimp and clams with a rice base. I chose a chicken with spinach and mozzarella cheese rolled in burchuto. He ordered a lobster soup and I ordered a beet salad. Good size portions. A little pricey but a wonderful experience.

Really glad this place is so close to us. Definitely a new favorite local spot. Great service and even better food. BYOB is a huge plus and the bisque is must try. Kinda hard to get escargot in the burbs but Augusto's brings city level cuisine to us out here.

What a gem! This place! First... BYOB! My favorite when it comes to overall price of a wonderful night out. Its hard to put into words the experience here... the wait staff, truly devoted to making this "the experience " . They are dedicated to the restaurant's success for sure. So what does that mean: doting, willing to explain in detail the menu, the pricing, the overall concept" of this beautiful oasis in the speedway! I mean, who would have thunk! Lol. You will love the presentation, the representation of staff and the amazing flavors!!! Chef Augusto is the pearl of this lovely hidden treasure. I should have taken pictures but we devoured our appetizers and entrees. The risotto was firm yet tender, never gummy, so flavorful, served with duck special. The duck just melted in the mouth. The mahi mahi special paired with hominy, yes, hominy, done to perfection, with shrimp. Need I say more!

We dined at Augusto's for my wife's birthday dinner. I like to try new restaurants for every night out, and I opened my search area for recommended restaurants. Augusto's popped up, and although it was a bit of a drive for us, we're glad we took a chance on it. We started out with the Flat Bread Pizze - Color Purple and the Cream of Broccoli soup of the day. The pizze was exquisite - the beet infused goat cheese and mozzarella combination gave it a unique taste and a nice take on the flatbread appetizer. The Cream of Broccoli was nice, as the ingredients were mixed fresh with the cream soup right at the table. For dinner we had the crab cakes and the beef burgundy. The crab cakes were very fresh and flavorful, with a horseradish cream sauce that wasn't overbearing like the mayo used in many crab cakes at other restaurants. The beef in the beef burgundy was so tender and moist, I could just pull it apart with my fork. And service was impeccable - we received the Sausage & Spinach flatbread by mistake, and the chef personally came to our table to apologize. He stopped at other tables to check on their meals and to chat with patrons, making it a very friendly atmosphere. The restaurant can get a bit noisy when full, and the decor is unassuming, but make no mistake the food here is better than any other restaurant we've been to in the suburbs. For anyone willing to venture out, you'll do no wrong than coming out to this wonderful BYOB.

Last night, my wife and I had an 8 o'clock reservation. We arrived at 7:50. We had to wait a little bit, which was no big deal considering we had arrived early.

A little after 8, the gentleman told us our table was ready. We were taken to our table, and were told the daily specials. My wife decided to go with the scallops, and I decided to go with the halibut special. We also ordered 2 appetizers. The escargot and the grilled octopus.

However, a gentleman came to take our order. I still don't know who our server was, because 3 people came to our table at different times. The gentleman told me that their special wasn't halibut, but Mahi-mahi...... Ok...... I guess I'll get that. That annoyed me. I guess there is no communication within the staff.

While waiting for our appetizers, our candle went out. I asked one of the gentlemen if he could give us a replacement candle. He said ok. But never came back with it.

After waiting 30 minutes, Appetizers came out. They were good. Nothing to rave over.

After waiting another 20 minutes, our salads came out. I had asked the female waitress if I could use the candle left from the table that had just left. She said sure! By the way, the female waitress was by far the most help. The other 2 gentleman were clueless and barely came back to our table to check up on us. It's almost like they forgot about us.

Anyway, the food comes out. One of the gentleman handed me my plate, and said it was the halibut...... I still don't know what I ate last night. I'm not sure if was the halibut, or the mahi-mahi.

We quickly ate our food, because all we wanted to do was leave. We felt like a burden to the staff, which is a very unpleasant feeling. After waiting an additional 20 minutes with empty plates in front of us, I asked if I could just get the bill.

it took 20 more minutes for the bill to arrive. I immediately handed the gentleman my credit card because I didn't feel like waiting another 20 minutes.

I'm very disappointed. We had such high expectations for this establishment because of all the good reviews we've heard. I'm not sure if we came in on the wrong night, but I doubt we will be back.

My suggestion.... Go elsewhere.

Been here several times. This time to celebrate our friends birthday and enjoy each other's company. Unfortunately, we were told that we had to leave as there was another reservation following ours. My friend who made the reservation did not understand wha t they meant when they called same day to confirm reservation. The food is delicious, but being rushed tfhroigh your meal really limits the fun and puts a bad vibe. Will think kokng and hard before spending our hard earned dollars here to gather again.

This is truly the dictionary definition of a hidden gem. While the building does not appear to be much from the outside, the inside is excellent. This staff is top-notch. The food is phenomenal. The menu choices are amazing and there is something for everyone.

Started with the lobster bisque which was amazing not overwhelming like in most places. Cozy and small but the decor gives it a great atmosphere. The ambience is what did it me although the food was fantastic, the music just happens to be my favorite songs. I came for lunch and ended up in heaven. Ps. I stay away from bread, the warmth and texture of this bread had me cheating on my diet and happy.

By far the best place to have a gourmet dinner in the suburbs... as always our dinner was oustanding. The sword fish special was exceptional, the filet mignon perfectly cooked to order. The desserts were amazing especially the coconut bread pudding. Even the spinach and beet salad was creative and delicious. We have eaten there many times and it is consistently excellent.
