First of all, let me qualify this review by saying I am pretty critical of fine dining restaurants and have higher than normal expectations, while I have lower expectations of chains and casual restaurants. This "off-the-beaten path" restaurant is designed to be an fine dining suburban restaurant, hence a higher expectation. However, it is BYOB. The menu is varied including both American and Italian dishes. The food is presented attractively and the service was attentive but not overly so. However, the food itself, while good, was just average - as you might get in any decent fine dining restaurant. I would say that this is probably the best and nicest restaurant in the nearby Warminister area (and one of the most expensive at $50pp w/o drinks), but that is a low bar. Compared to other similar restaurants in downtown Philly or NYC, the preparation of the food is unimaginative is just average - that is, no "wow" factor. We were not unhappy with our meal, but we did not rave about how good it was. We probably won't return.
