Very nice park for jogging/walking/bicycling. Other than those activities, not much going on in this park. I don't see it worth the trip for tourists unless you have kids & want to come to zoo here. I prefer City Park better which bigger & with interesting statues & flowers.

Love love love the 100+ years old trees they are a stunning view. Also we were there when all kinds of sucks migrated to birds island. Hundreds of sucks were there. They said he turtles were hiding due to cold. Also saw a gorgeous white swan. Great place to walk the paved trail is wide and bike and walker friendly. You can also appreciate the antebellum housing surrounding the property. We entered the park near the aubon zoo but when we were on st.charles street also seen an entrance.

Nestled in the heart of The Garden District, this park is a fairly big park. It s relaxing. It s nice to see the trees, turtles, lake, and other nature scenes. Spend at least an hour here to meditate and relax, or you can walk through from St. Charles Street to Magazine Street s shops and restaurants. (The pics below are part of The Garden District, steps from the park.)

One of the best places to see in New Orleans! The park is roughly a 2 mile loop. It is surrounded by residential streets and then Tulane on one side and the Zoo in the other.

Parking can get a little tight, particularly on weekends. If you cannot find a spot in the lot, you can park along the street or there is more parking across by the riverbank.

If you are bored of the inner loop, try walking on the outside streets which have some amazing homes. Don t be scared to venture off of St. Charles. You can stumble on some amazing areas of New Orleans.

For those riding bikes, the loop does easily connect to the River levee and then St. Charles.

This is an awful place...stay away! Just kidding. I love this place so much I want it all to myself(s). A great 1.8 mile walking, biking road encircling a beautiful, serene lagoon replete with various fowl, and turtles, as well as a serene golf coarse, which has several ponds sprinkled about. Magnificent, centuries old oak trees are everywhere you look. A truly lovely place.

Its a decent zoo but i felt the animal enclosures could be bigger and half the animals you can't even see because they're hiding behind all the things in their cages which i understand the zoo tries to keep it as normal as possible for the animals so there will be alot of plants and trees but it stinks that you can't see them too well.

It was very nice the bathrooms were clean and the food was good. Just not enough room if you have a handful of people and a stroller because there are so many other people with groups and strollers as well.

A large and well-preserved zoo. Audubon Zoo contains a variety of animals such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, lots of primates, reptiles and birds. A snake house holds numerous poisonous species. However, spacious space with a little few signs. If you come by bus, make sure to drop in front of the Zoo or you have to walk a long way since most walking drives are blocked. Entrance fee 22.95$ for non-member (included tax).

This without a doubt the prettiest park in New Orleans, it is open and clean, you really need to go out and check out the quad area by the Mississippi River, it has limited levee area so you can get up close to the river, the views of the river and the westbank are great and you feel like the boats are within arms reach as they pass by, this is a great place to picnic, grill, play games etc. Etc. A really nice green space.

Very beautiful & relaxing park with plenty of trees & shelters. Great for picnics, barbecues & crawfish boils. Many locals use the park walking, running & cycling throughout the day. One side of park actually sits on the Mississippi river. Weekends and holidays are very busy times at the park, so if you plan an event get there early to secure a good spot.
