One of the best places to see in New Orleans! The park is roughly a 2 mile loop. It is surrounded by residential streets and then Tulane on one side and the Zoo in the other.

Parking can get a little tight, particularly on weekends. If you cannot find a spot in the lot, you can park along the street or there is more parking across by the riverbank.

If you are bored of the inner loop, try walking on the outside streets which have some amazing homes. Don t be scared to venture off of St. Charles. You can stumble on some amazing areas of New Orleans.

For those riding bikes, the loop does easily connect to the River levee and then St. Charles.
