Audubon Park and Zoological Garden Reviews

Nice park for a run with an excellent paved trail. Was here for a 5K and it was probably the flattest 5k I have ever run.

Used to be better. No renovation, sad and boring now

Beautiful Animals and I love the fact they have a lot of space to walk around

Had so much fun, if you go wear comfortable shoes and make sure your phone is fully charged.

Audubon Park Zoo has a very impressive reptile house. There's also a great bayou portion of the park.

Difficult to get there by foot, not much to see there too, but fine fir barbicues I guess. There's parking too.

It's not a trip to NOLA without visiting Audubon Park.

Still early in the season, so their are a few animals that are not available to be seen. Also, the lion exhibit is being completely redone from the ground up.

Wonderful exhibits, that really help connect the animals to their larger context. Great programs to interact with some of the animals. Beautiful zoo

Fantastic trees giant, absolutely worth seeing. Great that such a place is not only preserved, it will hopefully be maintained by replanting these impressive oak trees. Thank you very much

Great place for a walk run or a bike ride. Large loop closed to vehicle traffic. The only thing it was missing was a golf course in the center of the park, oh wait it has that! Mostly par 3s and par 4s but some what challenging greens. This is a wonderful place to watch the sunrise. You might even see some local celebrities getting their exercise in while on your route.

Only problem was cost of food... not a cheap place to visit with hungry children.

Park was great. No parking!! It took 30 minutes to park somewhere.

Great little zoo to visit. They have a wide variety of animals and the lay out of the zoo is Nice. I had never been there and purchased the Audubon Experience tickets which means I got access to the zoo, aquarium, and insectitarium. I wish they would've all been at one location so I wouldn't have to travel all over New Orleans to visit them all. This is the only negative aspect of the Audubon Experience....it's nice if you are trying to sight see other parts of New Orleans so just keep that in mind when purchasing tickets.

Simply amazing. If your new to Louisiana the swamp exhibit is a great way to see the swamps without going to the swamps. I highly recommend a family membership. I take my baby at least twice a week. The food and beer is delicious if you forget to pack a lunch.

It is a great place to walk to to get through to the Audubon Zoo. It has very large populations of native birds and swampy in swampy areas that are known for Louisiana.

Great place to take the kids out for a day in the park to play.

Decent price for the attractions. Prolly should go when it isnt so hot.

Love it here, but the bees love any soda you may be having. Boo at the zoo is also very nice.

Great place to chill. Bring earplugs if you want to snooze by the river, it can get loud with the boat and helicopter traffic.

Excellent set up and viewing areas. One of the best I've been to.

My favorite place in Audubon park is the amusement park. And the morning call cafe.

The exotic animals, reptiles ect. Deserve all 5 stars, however there only three frogs in the building reserved for frogs, only one restroom, the food was horrible.

Fantastic layout, great animal selection (gorilla was my favorite), plenty of shade. One of my top three zoos.

This was the best day ever to be at the zoo, very peaceful & tranquil. The weather Was perfect for beeing outside. The animals & the people were at their best enjoy this awesome day in May.

Cute park to bike to, it's not a very large park but it's not too busy either making it good for running.

Zoo was good except 12 oz drinks was $3.50 a piece and lemonade was $10 a glass seems like there is some price gouging going on they should really work on those prices

Great relaxing place to go. Go if you can and just unwind.

The food was very very exspensive and absolutely no need for that they get so many visitors just the,admission can take,care of their exspenses!!!!

My children love coming here either to just play at the park or go to the zoo

Beautiful park! I took my nephew to the park and he enjoyed looking at the birds and turtles in the water. There is a lot of space for picnics and there are plenty of tables to use. There is also a park for children to play.
