Definitely the best park in Nola! I love it!
It is huge and has lots of things to do and see in it.
Home to ponds with lovey birds, long walking trails, exercise equipments, bike lane, hungry squirrels, Tree of Life etc.. You can spend a day there.
Do not miss the sunset by riverbank if you can.
It is also popular park among locals so it is great opportunity to run away from touristic side of New Orleans.

The animals appear underfed. The staff is friendly but the overall experience isn't one I would pay for again. The train ride was enjoyable and the host was very knowledgeable, and entertaining as well. I came to Audubon Zoo expecting to leave with a memorable experience, which didn't happen. A good place to take young children or a date if you're just looking to get out; the overall time I spent there with my wife was no more than 3 hours.

If you visit only one park in NOLA, then this is the park to visit. Follow the wide paved path around the park and enjoy the many beautiful views of the bayou, Live Oak trees and many water birds. Closer to the river is a nicely landscaped zoo and The Fly, a park along the Mississippi River. Sit and watch ocean going vessels parade by.

Real pricey not enough animals cost of of food was high for 3 or 4 day old food and cold. Family got sick from the food. 4 drinks 2 hotdogs shrimp 3 or 4 days old suppose to be fresh cold dried out chicken tenders and fries 34.00 and lots of headaches and vomiting. They say 2000 animals and we walked the whole thing and saw maybe a couple hundred. Not happy to spend 150.00 and not be a pleasant experience.

Huge park with a golf course, right next to the Audobon Zoo. The park has multiple entrances but the north entrance on St. Charles is the main entrance, and it faces Tulane University as well as Loyola University.

Nice walking/biking path winds around the park with plenty of benches and picnic spots for groups or solo explorers to embrace the mossy landscape. Peaceful and well monitored! Park by the bathroom building and bring your family to the gazebo to watch the sunset

One of America's great zoos. The white alligator is the star attraction here, but the primate and Asian exhibits were also cool. Lots of statuary adds class to the park and makes for great photo ops. Kids under ten should bring bathing suits to splash in the waterfalls of Monkey Hill.
