It was cold and dark, but I enjoyed the walk nonetheless.

This place is so beautiful! Enjoyed every single part of the park! A must see when in the city!

A little muddy at the time of my visit, but it just rained. I almost slipped and fell about 4 times, haha. A lot of nature, but much of a children park in my opinion. We didn't search the entire thing, so there may be a playground somewhere we didn't go, but from what I saw, it was more for a nature walk, to clear your mind, or if you just enjoy nature!

plan to spend at least a couple hrs here. so mitch to see and it's so peaceful

Remodeled or added a ton of exhibits! Some are still being built or need renovating.

This is a nice location for a family picnic. It's large and kept nice and neat.

I didn't know there were ponds inside. I was amazed by their beauty. I come from dessert land. So seeing all this green is heavenly.

They only had maps in Spanish and the online app didn't work with android. Overall, the park was nice and the keepers were very knowledgeable.

Wonderful respite from uptown area, the fly is great for so many activities, nice running path, adorned with gorgeous trees

Admissions are pricey and never seen many animals but it's a beautiful zoo.

No complaints, only exceptional comments. Just very hot to enjoy these days.

Its a lovely public park full of huge trees! There is 24 hour security and emergency call boxes throughout. The newly resurfaced jogging/biking track is great!

Great experience for the family. Big animals, cool cats, and a reptioe house was fun.

Audobon park is nice. The walking/jogging/biking trail is great and the place generally pretty clean. Great place to spend some time in the sun and have a picnic or take a jog.

My fave zoo. Buy the year family pass. It def pays off and you can use two of your tickets to buy the annual pass if you've already bought tickets to go once.

Ride the St Charles streetcar from the French District. Great place to walk, relax and unwind. Take in the zoo if you want but that's not a must.

Zoo, was clean, animals weren't to happy, some of the smaller monkeys look very sick or maybe old. Most of the animals were sleeping, but it was hot and storms were in the area. Loved the look of the zoo. But needs , really needs better care for the animals. Lots of wasted room that could be used for better, bigger room for the animals. Typical zoo, it's all about the money. And one pays allot at a zoo.

Nice and pretty park. Just make sure when its hot and you are getting off the St. Charles streetcar wait for the zoo shuttle if thats what you are wanting.

We went during gay day this year and it was an excellent zoo that was larger than expected. They are expanding and will have more exhibits soon. We also got to see their alligator show which was educational and cool

I watched a great Sunset over the Mississippi River here. A must see Park while visiting New Orleans.

Loved it. So much beyond animals. Kids had lots of fun.

Magnificent park. Great place for a jog or a stroll. Also now includes a special needs playground funded by Drew Brees.

Had a great time walking thru the Park. The birds weren't out in force but the turtles sure were. The weather was perfect as we walked the waterline. All the police horses had their heads out of their stalls & the tree of life was bustling with little rugrats running all around.

Beautiful park with views of the river, nice shady trees, wildlife, and picnicking areas. There's even a baseball/softball center and the New Orleans Zoo is located within the park, so it's a great place to bring the family and enjoy a nice sunny day.

The animal diversity is respectable and the layout and fauna is unique and beautiful. Can take the St Charles streeetcar to get there from the quarter and enjoy the scenic Garden District on the wsy.

Absolutely beautiful. One of our best walks. Was a little disappointed to run into a golf course in the middle of our nature escape though.

Such a beautiful place to walk around. The trees and old homes around are amazing. Lots of wildlife to see as well.

The Boo at the Zoo was great even though it rained for 2 days before. They got everyone on the last day and it was still good

It's a decent zoo, but I recommend going to it between the months of October - April. The summer is just to hot unless you are going to the splash park located inside the zoo, but it costs extra!
