It isn't a animal place but it's fun to relax and have fun events
Didn't have time really enjoy the beautiful day. I actually didn't know it even existed. I can't wait to come back so I can explore every aspect of it.
I went to take a walk here the other day. I'd forgotten how nice this park is.
Grew up about 4 blocks from this park. Moved away and years later it's still my favorite park. Has a municipal golf course. A really wonderful Lagoon with ducks. And of course the Audubon Zoo is very nice. Plus if you drive up on the Levee you get a beautiful view of the mighty Mississippi River
Beautiful park! Lots of greenery, a water fountain, a walking and bicycle trail. The park is surrounded by a small pond with ducks and turtles. The park is huge and you will find the Audubon Zoo on the opposite side of the park. The park is across from the two large universities in town(Loyola & Tulane). You can take the trolley to these areas.
Great park, but Audubon Society is against wind turbines and leases their bird sanctuary to oil and gas exploration.
A nice place to walk/run or bike or even just sit and enjoy the nature. The pond has a number of ducks and birds to watch during the evening.
Great place to go with kids, and have a nice picnic with family and friends.
Wonderful park with a biking and walking path, lots of large areas of secluded grass and trees to have picnics. Along the path there is workout bars and a few gazebos, as well as a golf course in the center of the park. Open late unlike other parks; great place to run.
A nice a variety of animals, but having visited many zoos across the U.S. I was very disappointed in enclosures and the walking trail. The train ride was mediocre at best but the conductor was very knowledgeable about the zoo.
Beautiful place, very nice attention of its officials.
Beautiful trees, a good place to take a walk and relax.
Loved it here only thing is I didn't have a stroller I forgot it back in Oklahoma and they wouldn't rent me one of theirs because my son couldn't fully walk on his own and he was only a year old and they said it was an insurance policy so I had to carry a 25 lb baby all over the zoo
I cannot do this park justice. It is very beautiful, not much traffic around it, has a wonderful loop for cycling/walking/running/rollerblading etc. Lots of green space to throw frisbee football etc. A nice fountain at the entrance with a playground. Also contains a golf course that is very well kept.
It's nature. She always gets 5 stars. Plus great running track and nice place for picknicking or sun bathing or tossing around some ball.
I'm from close by the Henry Doorly Zoo, so I'm zoo spoiled....small zoo, but clearly loved.
Wonderful place to walk, run, bike, or just hang out. I haven't visited the zoo yet but will next time I'm in town.
It's a really peaceful environment, which is no surprise sense Audubon is one of the most affluent neighborhoods in New Orleans. Great place to jog, bring your dog, bike, walk, amd even picnic. If you sit by the lagoon where the gazebo is, and look into the water, the fish and turtles come to say hi! And the Zoo is right across the way
Beautiful historic park with wide mixed use paths, golf, playgrounds, exercise equipment, birds, and huge oak trees. It's perfect for a walk.
Love the views and the trees and the ponds. So serene.
It is a beautiful park with stunning live oak trees and spanish moss.
Great zoo. Parts are under construction, so be aware that you may not see all exhibits as of now. The water park area looks nice.
Wonderful. Knowledgeable staff, clean facilities, magnificent animals.
Audubon Park, on the spectrum of modern life and outward and visible signs of inward and spiritual grace in the City of New Orleans defines the opposite of the French Quarter in every possible way: peaceful vs. rauckus, crowded vs. spacious, healthy vs. self-destructive, focused on nature vs. everything fake.
Beautiful scenery. Little squirrels running up and down trees.
Very beautiful park next to Loyola and tulane. Great place to go long boarding with friends
Had a great trip through the zoo with my Adult Kids. A lot of the critters are lethargic this time of year. .... Good discount with Military I D
Such a lovely place to walk, run, bike or just lay down and watch the turtles.
Beautiful as always! It s in the perfect location and has a nice track
I wish there was better parking during events in the park otherwise it's a fun place to go
Nice city park with a good restaurant at the clubhouse, nice zoo, and waterfront area.
Tons of animals and friendly staff. Great price if you have the membership as the aquarium is awesome also!
They had a lot of the exhibits closed but overall it was huge and I liked how close I was able to get the animals.
A very nice park in a very nice part of the city. Great for walks/strolls during the day and for taking in all of the beautiful houses that line the walkways of the park.
This park is beautiful and full of amazing trees and scenic shots. I am so grateful for pur stop here. You have to visit the Tree of Life when you go to Audobon park. One of my favorite stops during my recent visit to NOLA with for a girls get-away.
Amazing environment for families and awesome food if your hungry and so many cool animals
They are doing some places like where the cats are so not seeing all the animals while they are doing this was a bummer.
Beautiful zoo. Not the biggest zoo I've been to, but it was worth it. The statues and the old oaks around the zoo were amazing. Decent amount of exhibits. Avoid the spring months as you will run into hundreds of kids, teens, and college students on field trips/spring break.
Great zoo! Animals seem happy and well-cared for! The park is clean and spread out enough that even when there's a lot of people, it doesn't seem crowded. It's a must when visiting New Orleans!
It took me a long time to get to the park, but once there, my only regret is not getting there sooner.
Very nice zoo. Offers a lot for both locals and tourists.
Great zoo, but I recommend not going when it's hot!
Beautiful park to spent time with your family and friends
A beautiful area! Take the family and sit under the moss-covered oaks enjoying the breeze and picnic in the shade.
A gorgeous area for sure!
This is a wonderful park to go for a long walk. It's never too crowded and always feels safe. I always enjoy visiting it The Park is well laid out and the ancient oaks take you back to in time. There is a well maintained, paved running and bicycling path around the perimeter, an executive golf course with clubhouse and restaurant, and the Audubon zoo occupies most of the park area between Magazine St and the Mississippi River.
Great place for the family! Worth the money for sure!
It's fun with no drama, it's clean and safe as well
Beautiful park in a beautiful part of town. There is a walking and biking trail which is paved surrounding lakes and a golf course. Worth the visit if in town and sits right across from the zoo.
As a local I visit this park weekly for exercise and enjoyment.
The WORST ZOOL that I have seen in my life.
All very badly care.
The animals are sad. You see them circling obsessively.
Many posters saying that soon will be this or that animal, but the entrance paid full, not half as was the zoo.
The park very poorly maintained.
Beautiful place! Quiet and peaceful, lots of green, beautiful trees! There is a middle of a lake with geese so it is nice to hang out there. There are running and walking trails for people, some picnic benches
