Always love the zoo! Fantastic staff, beautiful new terrains for the animals. Great food at the swamp cafe. We go frequently, as members and cannot recommend it more highly.

Loved the way the zoo was set up. Most of the exhibits had ample space. The Swamp themed area was definitely the best experience. Very different than many zoos. Unfortunately we had to cut the day short because of work but I would love to go back again if we are ever in the area.
Wonderful park with lots of wildlife ,centuries old trees , running trail, bike trail and breathtaking views!
I would rather label this is a spectacular botanical garden with some animals living in it. This zoo has some really good key animals. This zoo also has some unique animals not often found in other zoos such as the African spotted dog. The layout of the park is very confusing and the signs, if any, are not helpful. The map that I was given upon entrance only helped gauge where I "might" be in the park. They are doing a lot of construction and I think they just need to update their map. The exhibits are well done, as I maintain this zoo has more of a botanical feel. I found that rather ingenious and, regardless of my situational awareness, made the tour very pleasant.
The lights were pretty. Ddifferent from the usual City & Lafreniere Park usual.
We held our family reunion at this park and we loved it! It was very hot, but there was plenty of shade and trees. There's plenty to see and do. There's trails, a golf course, more than one playground, zoo, etc. We were right across from Tulane University and we parked right off the street. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. If you're in New Orleans, I would DEFINITELY recommend Audubon Park if you're a nature person.
The park is pretty clean. The restrooms not so much.
Don't leave before seeing what the locals dub "The Tree of Life."
A beautiful we'll kept grounds to explore and enjoy. There are many things to do and share from work out equipment on the trail to sight seeing the wild life or playing on the playground for kids. Also a public restroom and water fountains. The tree of life is also a must see.
Just visited the zoo. The zoo is small but pretty impressive and above all easily walkable.
My favorite place to run all through college and still now when I visit New Orleans!
Great place for adults and kids. Love the big layout.
Kids had fun... but call first many of f the exhibits are currently closed and some additional exhibits want more money
Love the exhibits and well maintained grounds. Staff? Whole different matter. Abrupt and borderline rude.
Fun and entertaining place for the whole family. We love it.
Had an excellent day visiting, love the detail in the various areas.
Great walking and sites. Tree of Life was a good site.
Big park with lots of different activities. Good for running and beautiful scenery
Pure Delight
The day was cool and the animals all came out
I must say that I was disappointed with my visit. Although the staff that we met at the Entrance to the park were pleasant, and accomodated our lame "sure is hot" - "sure was a long ride" (duh) tourist's humor with good cheer and without rolling their eyes(!), their fellow troopers, the poor staff manning the outlying refreshment kiosks, looked as though they had been left behind and forgotten in the desert, LOL. We even offered to buy one of them anything they wanted from what he had offered *us* ...
Lastly, the place was dirty and in disrepair, especially so in some of the EXHIBITS (which paid to have signs made apologizing for the mess rather than pay to *clean it up*!) ... which was disheartening and a bummer.
The animals looked well cared for though! Oh, and another positive, the Zoofari Cafe was igloo cool (yes!), clean (in fact, being tended to), and the food was good! So, pretty much a big cheer and thanks to the troops and a "get your butts back to the war" for the generals.
One of the best zoos in the World! Other zoos pale in comparison.
Great place to visit. Wish the enclosures were a little larger.
First time visiting this zoo. Some exhibits are closed but overall good number of attractions and animals for kids and family to enjoy. Masks are required during visit.
A little confusing layout to find everything. Probably would have been better and would have seen more animals if it wasn't raining.
Great park to have kids and just relax. The view is nice from any area within the park. And easy parking everytime
Love this zoo!! Beautiful well feed, well kept animals :-)
Fun for all ages. This is a beautiful zoo with wonderful animals. Our family, from grandparents to a 5 year old boy loved every minute.
I love Audubon park. We bike ride through out the park. Peaceful experience.
So glad to be back at the zoo after closures. Please everyone go visit so they can get things rolling again. Hardly anyone in there because you need to schedule a time slot to visit which is perfect. Zero crowds but the animals have all asked for you!
Man walking his pig... Not something you see everyday!
Very nice and clean and a lot of animals to see. Very entertaining!
Lots to do and see. Several new attractions coming soon
Amazing zoo, the animals were very energetic and it was a ton of fun.
Beautiful place, with family or alone this place is magical well taken care of. If you have time please visit and take pictures.
Always a fun place to go. Also check out the cool zoo.
It is a solo where you can see many animals of different species
beautiful & green
.
One of the most beautiful parks I know !! First of all, giant and divine trees are ideal for a beautiful walk and beautiful photos. The entire edge of the lake is ideal for sitting and relaxing.
I found it great that in each sector there is a bathroom with drinking fountain and area to rest for a while.
Attention that one of the local trains passes through one of the park's limit streets.
Though I got caught in a crazy downpour I had a grate time. Not many zoos have a swamp exhibit (this is where I waited out the rain). The monkeys swung over my head and most of the animals were up and about. This is a big zoo that will take most of the day to see all of.
Visited Audubon Zoo, such a beautiful place to see. The grounds are well kept and the play area for the kids is amazing.
If you're touring the area.. You can go for a run/walk/bike ride on their track, bring the kids to the playground, free pool swimming and a zoo!
Great place, safe, kind people, beautiful park with plenty of space for runners cyclists and walkers
It was a lot of fun!!! A lot of different things to do! Great place!
I just wish they had covers over the playgrounds. In the summer it is so hot and you can burn yourself playing on the structures
Great fun to be had in the zoo. It takes couple hours to go through.
Great zoo! Love the right events and shows. Try to catch a training session they are great. Very entertaining and informative.
