A true gem of New Orleans. Even if you only have 30 minutes visit the park stop by but you could spend hours walking its grounds and enjoying the majestic oak trees, flowers, and beautiful fields. You will find a variety of birds including in the Spring ducklings and goslings. The park is served by the Saint Charles trolley line and also buses. The city zoo is also located at Audubon Park.

just make sure you have good walking shoes and plenty of water in the summertime.. loved the train ride the conductor was a natural comedian. I would like to see signs leading to the exit, I got lost for 10 minutes.

I believe this is one of the many gorgeous parks designed by the central park NYC guy. Who was this imaginatively industrious fellow and why can't anyone dream up parks as big and beautiful!?

Beautiful park. Lots of areas for kids to play. There's a track where everyone can ride bikes, rollerblade, run, walk, etc. Lots of people go there yet the park doesn't feel crowded which I can really appreciate.

I love everything about Audubon Park and the Zoo. Can be in a peaceful environment with lots of trees. I like to walk on the track. Nothing like fresh air! The Zoo is first class! And I love the park behind the Zoo, on the River Batture. All are well-maintained, safe, and very clean.

It's a nice little zoo, when it's cold most animals are asleep, we went when it was a chilly day, most animals didn't wake up until past noon, the zoo is clean, one of the things I did not like and the reason i only did 3 stars was the horrible customer service when buying tickets and ordering food. We have been to several zoo's around the country, we figured it would be similar, the smiling representative wanting to help out. Nope, frowns upon frowns showing you how unhappy they were with their job. When we ordered food, that was even better, cashier was taking our order and then trailed off laughing totally ignored what we were ordering because she was busy gossiping. After she was done she turned back to us and said ok so...can you repeat that again. I told her we had already said it (before she basically got 2 of the 6 items we were ordering because whatever her friend had to say was way more important than the customers order) we had to repeat our order, she again turned to continue speaking to her friend. Making us repeat the order a 3rd time. I was in shock, I couldn't believe that after paying a pretty good amount per person for this zoo, the least they could do is teach their staff some manners. If you bypass the crappy customer service that your use to from other zoo's . It's ok.

Nice place to enjoy life as it is. Nice sun nice wind nice time. The kids get to see the boats pass as they sit on the dock. We bring out crawfish and drinks and have a great time. Lots of space to do whatever you want to do. It's also surrounded by a nice neighbor Hood. Great atmosphere for everyone.

Quite an experience. The animals were all out and clearly visible. The enclosures are thoughtful to the animals and guests. One of the best zoos I've been to. I would encourage everyone to visit this zoo at least once.

This is great park oasis right across from Tulane and Loyola. It has everything needed for a R&R with family and friends: walking and jogging trails, biking, water, Zoo, beatiful trees, you name it. Suitable for all ages from small kids to adults. You can take St Charles streetcar there, quite convenient

So much to do and see, several trips is a must! The family membership is the way to go, pays itself off when you plan on visiting the Insectarium and Aquarium since they are included. The kids enjoyed the food and rides.

Probably the most beautiful park in New Orleans. It's open at night, too, with lighting and security patrols. Tens of thousands of birds! Beautiful gardens! A delight of all the senses.
